People often reject Christianity because they prefer darkness to light, as explained in John 3:19-21. When God's Word acts as a mirror revealing truth about ourselves, some people resist rather than change. Those who practice evil hate the light because it exposes their deeds, while those who live by truth willingly come to the light. As Christians, we should continue shining despite rejection, avoid taking opposition personally, pray for those who resist, and maintain humility. By staying faithful to truth while loving the lost, we honor God even when facing pushback from the world.
