Cathy Eller and Will Hines join Billy to discuss Byrne v Boadle, Court of Exchequer, 159 Eng. Rep. 299 (Ex. 1863), in which plaintiff was struck and badly injured by a barrel of flour which fell from a window on the second floor of the warehouse, owned by the defendant, a flour dealer. The Court determined that "the thing speaks for itself" and dealt a blow to the moneyed the interests of flour dealers and barrel manufacturer, everywhere. From the case stems an improvisational romp through time to explore the rise of BIG BARREL. Finally, Billy lays down the pretense and explores what makes his guests who they are.
