This was a great The game was great, but the halftime show was phenomenal and let me tell you why because it was a hip hop and if you are if you are a fan of hip hop and you know hip hop from the nineties, Dr Durry and Snoop Dogg were incredible. Now, Kendrick Lamar is relatively new, but Mary's been around a long time as well, and eminem as well. And then fifty came out with Birthday It goes shorty each he brought dropped that in two

thousand and three. But can't we just talk about fifty was the surprise monkey rich that they threw y'all through a heavy that wasn't a monkey wrench, that was a gorilla wrench because fifty fat ass. But Prince killed it. Prince Prince, Prince Diana Ross Prince and Michael Jackson probably my favorite three.

But last night, yeah, Beyonce was great, but I wish you Beyonce would have been by herself. Even though I thought Bruno Mars was good, really good. I would like to have saying Beyonce do it all by herself with Destiny's child, nobody else. Um, but that's my opinion. We all see something different, we all like something different. I do want to say I want to just give a big hats off and and and a shout out to Eminem who showed the world I don't care what you think.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, and you don't tell me what to do. Because they had asked for rumor has it that they had asked emminem not to take a knee. Eminem took a knee in solidarity standing with Kylin Klin Kaepernick, and on the same arena that because the NFL blacklisted Colin Kaepernick, they kicked him out of football. So the slap in the face was that Eminem was on the biggest night of football. The Super Bowl is the biggest night of football throughout the year.

He took a knee in solidarity for for Colin Kaepernick, and y'all a lot of y'all missed that in times. Oh he was just trying to get brownie points. Now, No, he wasn't. The Underground Railroad would not have worked with only black people. We could not even look white people in the faith. You couldn't ride a horse, you couldn't carry a gun. They would live during the half type of warmis so you got to see. If you're following someone, you got to see that too. On I g always lit. Oh. I saw lebron in the audience. already know what the parking was like over there. Yeah, that's that your neighborhood. Whether the super Bowl was okay, yeah no listen, but the performance was Kendrick was definitely my favorite part. I got it. Kend one can only he was Oh he was. We were talking about Whoopee is bad, you know, Lauren, So let me let me shake it up a little bit. So Eminem took the knee, and I know a lot of people saying, oh, he just did that. I don't think he did it for brownie points. Eminem has proven himself over the years time and time again that I'm going to do it my way, and if you don't like it, I don't know what to tell you. Mother

had you, mother loved you. Y'all know the rest. But when he took that knee's out there, because I always talked about the underground railroad would not have worked with just black people. We couldn't look you in the eyes, we couldn't ride a horse, we couldn't carry a weapon, so many things that we couldn't do, so we had to have good white people to help us to do so.

I think it's still good white people out there. And I love the fact that Eminem was like, I'm gonna do what I want to do and there will be no backlash, And as of yet, there has been no backlash, no negative comments. But if anybody else that was on that show last night would have taken a knee in the same capacity, the news would have read very differently this morning about the halftime show it would have took it.

They would have taken away the shine of what the greatness that they did last night because they would have just focused on a black person taking a knee. Don't blame us for using the race card when that's all you have always used against us is the fact that

we're black. So don't blame us when we'll be used it back on you to y'all can't handle that, um, And I make my point is Whoopee saying something out of turn or that it took out a turn, because I completely agree that I heard what Whoopie said and they did not allow her chance to explain herself. They just went after her and she lost it. She couldn't get a chance to explain it, but she was suspended. Imagine that Whoopie had taken a knee at the Super Bowl.

Suspended would be the least of her worries. Well, I'm adding another story since we're talking about racial bias. I don't know if you've seen to that. Um. Shikari Richardson is back on you know, her Twitter fingers, but it's actually valid. There was a Russian UM athlete that is particuarly. She tested positive for drugs and they said it was fine.

She was still allowed to compete. So if we want to talk about UB standards, we got three different stories, so we can address here between eminem whoopee, and this other ger she's not a generat. I don't know what her name is. I don't know what her name is. But I saw the story this morning, Lauren, and they said that I saw them go, and they said that they allowed her to go because she took the test two months ago and they were just getting the results.

So what if she took the COVID test two months ago and she was COVID positive and y'all just getting the test results, So who does that fall on? She should have been removed, y'all removing Hikari Richards for a joint that she smoked what a day or two before?

A girl. Yeah, that's interesting because this conflicting stories. Supposedly, the test came back positive a week after um, she took it, and then they still like they knew about it in December and then she had the whole you know, committee meeting or whatever, and they just acquitted her and said it wasn't a problem. So this story is just coming out now, But this whole ordeal and her being

you know, exonerated, happened back in December. So clearly the story is not right because there's different things being written. But if we're gonna talk about hypocrisy and double standards and our face, they keep remandering us in our face, which is why they gave Snoop such a hard time

after he acquired death rol records. You know, they tried to keep Snoop off the super Bowl for it was rumored that they was gonna try to pull him off the Super Bowl because of some lady coming out from ten years ago with some sexual harassment charge or some kind of charge on him from ten years ago because

he acquired deathro records. Every time a black man tried to acquire something, and I ain't given Bill Cosby a pass, but every time a black man tried to acquire something major and what was the other Byron Allen, they came up. They never hi up with those sexual harassment charges, but they tried to find everything else. Sit the way by Ray. Now they don't want us to own it because they were always be in control. I just think it's interesting too, though,

and I guess I don't. I don't want to sound insensitive when I say this, but it's like it's always interesting when you to your point, when we start acclinbering things or getting a little more more notoriety. There's always like some sexual conning out, And I don't want to make it seem like I'm not encouraging women to speak up if they've experienced this trauma. We definitely should, but sometimes the time hasn't looking at people sideways like well

why now? Why now? Because this is like you know, name is and the media all of the studden you want to, you know, talk about this, but anyway, I don't know. Sometimes it's very strange. Yeah, and I'm telling whoever that lady is, girl, you better stay away from me. Ay, I love snow Dog. He I love snow Dog, and I'm a loyal person. I would like yours. when he was leaving quietly, there was no problems. I literally said, I said, he's going to file a civil suit against CNN. And that's exactly what he did there his money. Yeahcause CNN ain't gonna want that bad publicity. And he's a lawyer and he ain't gonna And here Cuomo, he ain't gonna stop. Y'all understand, y'all, don't keep this brother out too. He's not gonna stop. They have very deep pockets. And I said that I knew this was

gonna happen. That's why he left the way that we did, because he was like, Okay, I want to fire me, y'all gonna have to pay me. Wow, we're living in some strange times. Glory HOGI. I don't think that she has the power to push Biden to do what needs to be done not only for African American people for but for Americans right now with this whole

Philipbuster thing. When they were talking about it. They're so entrenched with this whole Ukraine a Russian invasion that you're not focusing on what's happening here. And that's not saying that I don't feel no sympathy for what's happened, because Poodin is not playing checkers with y'all. He is playing chess pool to say, I'm gonna do what I wanna do, And he' was having conversations with pood all the time. You have a conversation with Poda. My conspiracy is that

pood is on the phone the other phone Trump. Well, what I'll say is this, I think we've got too many and I hate to say this, but it's the truth. We've got too many old white people in these positions of power now, and they've honestly become so removed as to what priorities are important, Like they're prioritizing things that aren't necessarily gonna better the American people. And like not to say that Ukraine and Putin isn't a big deal, and obviously is like we all know that he's crazy,

you know, and he's a dictator. But and I know it's the national security thing, so that may be above you know, my knowledge of what that making sist of. But I just think on an American level, they don't have the priority straight of what's actually important because they're just so removed, you know, they're thinking like, oh, we should prioritize this, we should prioritize that, and it's like, but what's actually gonna help the people that voted for you?

They're removed, you know what I mean? And I think that's honestly what we're facing now at this time. So and I don't necessarily think it's gonna get better either. Like I saw Joe Biden said that he's gonna rerun again, or supposed he's gonna rerun, and Kamala is gonna be his running mate. I mean, if it comes down between him and Abronda Santists or Donald Trump implant, I'm obviously gonna vote for Jilligan because I think he's the lesser of the two. But it is I'm gonna pack my ship.

Let me just see it public. I'm uk, I'm on the way. That's that's what we're up against at this point. So it's unfortunate, but I think that's just the reality rama politics at this point. So I did see that Joe went in and UM killed the leader of Isis two ago. Joe didn't do it, he says, some folks on Hels ain't went nowhere. Well, it's so different from when Barack Obama went in and killed Yeah. I said the same thing about him. You ain't win nowhere either,

implemented the strategy. I know. I'm just good lord, you know, I know, the lady said Jim. But we're gonna do. But I'm gonna do my black history moment and talk about Fanny lou Hammer. If you don't know who Fanny lu Hammer was, I love Fanny lou Haimer. She was from Florida, what she was from Mississippi, and she was born in nineteen seventeen. She was the twentieth child of lou Ella and James Lee towns and sharecroppers. She was

a civil rights leader. She lost. They'd beat her so bad in jail one time that she had a blood clot, lost sight in one of her eyes. She and she was unapologetic, she was unafraid, she was unabashed. Um and she was not recognized, and and they kept her then foot on Fanny lou Hammer's neck. And when I tell it, I said, kept her foot on her neck. It's kind of like they didn't physically well, they did some physical things to her, but they ostracized us to what she

couldn't work. It was hard for her to take care of her family. Blacklist to her. That's happening now and for some of the same reasons the hour. It is different now because then they could come to your house in the middle of the night and take you away like em matel Now they just get in office and become a congressman or statesman or Secretary of States and take everything away. Is that funked up to say, Lauren, No, it's very accurate, because you know they let it coming problematic.

That was this morning. That was his morning. I was problematic this morning. Kept touching me, Lauren. I need I need a new dancer, you know who. I want you to give me some information about Katherine Dunham because the only reason I know Catherine Dunna's name because we had a dance studio in Chicago. They get Katherine Dunham Theater and I went there a couple of times, so it's I was um at academy. We had this like song. We had to learn about her. But Katherine Dunham was

born in nineteen nineteen o nine. Her father was French Canadian and her mother was Black. Um. But she actually started the Dunham technique. You know, she went down into the Caribbean and studied different types of dance and she created her own technique. Was done and I studied it. It's actually extremely hard. Um. But she's a pioneer in um the dance world for four So she started the

Dunham technique. It's still practiced to this day. And um, she was beautiful because say the least she was beautiful. They featured her in the Alvin Ale documentary just a little snippe over did I watched it on Delta play. I was on Delta one on a Delta one and in my pod first class thank you hf yes. Um. Yeah. But so she's a mix of French, Canadian and Black and um, just a pioneer and dance and created her own technique. There's not many that can say that. You know,

we've got the Dunham technique. We've got you know, Horton. You know, we've got only a handful. So she was by talent and to all my newbies is joining us here on laughing. And the reason I'm asking Lauren about dancers is because Lauren is a technically trained professional dance who've been taking dance and she was nine months because Miss Marsha was not playing with her. She should get your as the dance class. But so Lauren camp really did. And I'm not telling you all what I didn't see.

We was rehearsing for the HF campaign one time and she was trying to tell Earth a combination. She said, I don't remember Earth. Look, I didn't know Lauren dance. She got a tall ash, but the table started kicking and foot I was like, oh this happening dance, Oh my god, and the legs didn't stop there. I think she kicked Jesus because he looked down. I'm telling you for real, so listen, I missed my partner today at work. I'm glad you're back. When you come back for next week,

what did you come home next week? I'm basically by weekly for the next four weeks, so I have three more trips. So if I like the end of March, I should be done at least for a month. I'm hoping because y'all not canceling my uh my co host flight next Sunday, please, So she had a black as let them keep playing with me.
