If you watch coffee Time, the baby you know the name flame my role also known as my row Flame. Come in with last and come in with you love lounds. Baby, you better catch it when you can't drop a knowledge from Fatherhoods of politics, shouting now comics just paying homics. What's up? Tip? Yeah you know she read shout towns. Don't speaking to the grown a second. We're gonna last kind of the kicking in at the end. We leave
it with just a lift spirit. But you want to revisit, so your first take a listen you folks, it's lit all funk that we take it to. Hey, no this dude, you do no do what you don't? No kids, do what I do. Hey, hey, hey, you welcome to Laughing Luring with your host lay Monroe and my gorgeous co hosts, Miss Laura Can we're here today and our great producers, Mr Aaron, Welcome to Laughing Hi Lauren, Hey Flame, how
are you girl? Your hair is getting so long for those extensions don't ww but yes it is a little long sign for a little chop chop soon. Oh, don't cut it off and let it grow down long, let it go. I want anybody who got long, had to let it grow longer. Man, don't grow no longer than this. It's just short regular comment. That's that's what they have weeks for. Oh my god, I welcome to laughing our ladies and gentlemen. We listen. We have been having issues
with laughing our last week. We we missed it. Then we tried to tape it and it didn't work, and then we didn tape it Monday and then it disappeared. But guess what, we're here now and everything is working, so let's do it. So we're making up. Look, we're making up, but we're gonna come to I ain't gonna tell you how we're making up. You don't chelling. We're making it. So um. Last week we had the greatest,
one of the greatest experiences in my career. We went, we were flowing out to Yellow Springs, Ohio, to hang out with the Goat himself, who's very Yes today, happy birthday, Mr Dave Chappelle. And we had a great experience. I had my own experience. Lord, you had your own. And let me tell you why Lauren had her own experience. Not that Lauren. It wasn't pleasant with everybody and friendly and pretty and everything for her uncle, who we have
interview here on that. Robert Glasso is more famous and popular than than me and Lauren put together full times, because everybody loves and knows Robert. Oh my god, they might know Rob Lauren. They do. Yeah, And Um, you know Rob is like a clown. I mean you you experienced that when we um were on the podcast. He's stilly, he's spoofy, and he's just a good time and a
good person to be around. So it was actually nice to see, you know, while we were in Yellow Springs, just people talk so highly of him and you know, just talk about what an amazing person it was. So it weren't my heart too, you know, to see that. So shout out to him for sure. He looks for me. Amazing was the person we went to see though, Lord how was how amazing was he? His team? So Dave Chappelle is quite of individual. I must say his perspective
and just outlook on things is pretty profound. I would say having conversations with him, um was really amazing. And moreover, Um and I talked about this too with him. Just a simple fact I think as just black creators, we're
just black folks in general. We're just so innovative because in the midst of a freaking pandemic, he said, let me, you know, put some money not only back into my town and Yellow Springs, but let me help boost the economy by doing comedy shows in the midst of a corn field and literally built a beautiful set, beautiful production and just gave people comedy and entertainment for the past two years. It's just it's quite an impectaful thing, you know,
not only to witness, but just to think of. You know, he's quite an innovator, and it was just an amazing experience to see, you know, see him backstage, you know, kicking it, you know, having in depth conversations and then just switching like onna drop up a dime to go to comedy, like he is like the artist, you know, like I have so much more respect for him. I loved a. Chappelle already because I loved Chappelle Show and all that stuff, but to see him in real time,
it was just it was an amazing experience. So and they definitely invest in some money in that because the sound system in the middle ofvel corn field was been in some of the e comedy clubs that play in this sound system so loud and so clear it and it was so clear you can hit the cricket he got it from Free. Yeah, it was you know, it was only like um, like I told you before, it was just it kind of blew me out the water that it made. I felt it felt abnormal to be
treated so normal. It felt That's how I felt. And I know people who don't understand that, would never understand that, but it felt abnormal to me to be treated so normally by Ken Williams and Dave Chappelle and Danielle Rollins and um, you'r same bay formerly known it's most deaf. Me alone's gonna fight over him, by the way, y'all. And it just it was a great and that day wanted my point of view, that Dave Chappelle wanted my opinion. You know, that kind of blew me like wow. Really
it was overwhelming, but it was a great experience. That can't wait for you all to see it when it comes out, whenever they packaging and do whatever they're gonna do with it, because I think you guys are gonna be thirly. And it was a seventy six show. And I know y'all heard of the movie Angels in the Outfield, but with y'all see the Training of the Cornfield. Oh my god, you did such an amazing job to flame. Um. I know he'd like fret to see Palko life about it,
but I was really proud of you too. And you're talking about, you know, not being treated differently. It's so interesting because you know, there are all these narratives about Dave Chappelle and how he's transphobic and homophobic and everything. If you ever go to Yellow Sprains, Ohio, you will see so many rainbow flags and right next to you you know, ainbow flags, you will see Dave Chappelle's logo and people
saying thanks Dave, thanks for your support. And it's just it's like you, there's always rumors and people always want to make up these narratives about you. But then there's the truth, you know. So he poured back into a very diverse, very LGBTQ friendly community and literally kept him afloat during the pandemic, and that's the testament of the
person that he is. So you know, the fact that he was even receiving all this hate and being accused of being transphobic and homophobic is like, it's just it's crazy. You know. Some of his jokes weren't offensive, sure, but at the end of the day, was he actually doing you know what I mean? So now I say offensive things about the community, and I'm part of the damn community because we are comedians. We said pensive things about black people were black, We said pensive things about skinny
people were fat people. Everybody just need to achieve. And remember that mass shooting to kill people were mass laughters. They never kill nobody mass laughter and never heard kill nobody even hurt somebody feelings. But you get over there, that's that's a bar. Plane, that's a bar. I come on, Dave, everything was a bar with day. Everything you say, he's that's a bar. I'm like, what is that like? I wasting my good for real? I'm over real. I kept saying,
what is that like a rap? Exactly what it is? So yeah, overall, Yellow Spring is a beautiful town. I also got some beautiful artwork that's lovely placed in my house now and you gotta show me what it looked like.
Well you when you get changed, I can see where you place the pieces and definite and me and Lauren both had to let our pants out when we came home because not only did we have a beautiful experience that we went rolling in canoe and la for the record, don't let Lauren let the front claim you forgot to roll in the back. Lauren was trying to hold business to see that she was multitasts. She was holding business meetings and dealings that would have phoned in one hand
and trying to row in the other hand. And I was the record, I was able to do both. My partner in the back forgot that she had to put the paddle in the water. But that's neither here nor there. But I did you both, I was girl, I have that option. Yeah, we had, And that's jeff Nikki, maybe let me kill you something. For sure has to go to pilates and kickboxing and running and track. She forgot
to do. Any that were in your high ass will snack a snacker snacking, but if you had any of Nikki's food, you would have snacked to That food was fantastic. Her food is so good. Shutout to chef NICKI, Um, I haven't eaten that good in a while. So it was quite a and it was an experience to like, you know, you always know food is good when you have an experience with it, Like there was a African inspired night, there was a sandwich inspired and night like
the food was a vibe. So y'all know, I was happy. But that bro that sea, that seafood case of a good. Yeah, her chicken sandwiches did it for me. It was it was in chicken sandwiches. I'm not even gonna lie. And we got to ring you and we go there. We all had to ring you on back. So that was that. That was just the highlight of the way. And then I left there and they said for me to come to uh where we go? Oh to New York. I did a hell of a week God, and that was
a great That was a great show. Idea with him and he'sa ray and Gary Owen and ch O say, and it's up now you guys want to watch it on YouTube. It is called hell of a Week with We had a great time and we had a few topics. We had one topic that we were not able to get to. So let's get to that topic. Because the raid on Mara Lago is it a raid or they just went into collect the things that belonged to the government.
I think that this whole Trump situation, it's crazy because it's literally like my my new source of reality TV. Now have we watched MSNBC. I was watching already, but now I'm like, oh, I've got to turn it on. So, as of now, the based on that raid, if you want to call it, that, the FBI has retrieved over three hundred plus classified documents that Trump stold but he stole from the White House. So um, and that's just
one case. He's got the d O J case. There's a case in New York, there's a case in Atlanta. I think he has like a total of seven cases now. So overall, I just want to make sure that this man can't run for office when it comes to He's broken so many laws at this point. The fact that he's not already being prosecuted as baffling to me. But um,
his house is definitely crumbling, to say the least. You know, his boy Alan Weisilberg, that was ahead of his Trump organization, I think for about fifteen years, just pleaded guilty and a visually slipped on him too for tax fraud. And I'm married another thing. So I'm just waiting for the official indictments to come down. Word to the West that everybody that's involved, the first offer to to save yourself
is usually the best offer. So if y'all want to jump ship, and if you don't believe that all the rats are on the same way when the ship going down, watch the Titanic. All the frants was running the same way. Molly Brown, somebody better say they sell. I think they're digging in the wrong place. I think it's a lot of stuff. They probably he probably put it in the grave with Ivana because they bear the as less than twenty four hours on the golf course on a private
sector so they can't dig up somebody states membership fees. Yeah, he didn't want to spend none of his money. And all these people that donate just was watching the c And then the other day everybody who's donating money towards the overturning or the big line, he gets to keep nineties cent of every dollar that they don't. That's crazy.
And they have donated millions of dollars to this man. Well, and if we're gonna go back to mar Alago, there's some t that's there that's not it's not verified yet, but there's some conspiracies there. Supposedly Jared Kushner was a whistle blower for the Marlago raid, and apparently one of the UH Secret Service agents was also a kind of like a plant of some sort, and that's how they were able to actually verify that Trump had all of these plums, not for classified documents rather because he did
not be classified that before he left. But apparently it was this inside Secret Service agent that was able to you know that open. How do you think Ivanka is going to treat her husband as to found out that
her husband turned in her father. Well, you know what's interesting though, Ivanka is literally Trump's twin, So she might have the mentality right now of you gotta do what's best for you right now, because that's how her daddy is, if you think about it, and I think she's worse than her father, So she might not be looking at Jared crazy, because she's even gone before the January six committee and testified to say that she knew that the
election was over and that her father was tripping. She said that before the committee, so and they tried to calm him down, to get him the kind everything down on January six, and he didn't do it right. They were talking about invoking them in fifteen days before the supposed transfer of power was supposed to happen, so everybody knew Trump was crazy. And I think at this point Ivanna is more so like, we gotta save ourselves, So Jared,
you do what you gotta do. I'm gonna do what I have to do, and my father can do the same. But I personally think they put Rudy Giuliani and a sail for about four days and no food and no hair jail or we get all of their because he has to have his brown dad so can run down the side of his face. It's just so interesting to go from like one of the probably few New York City mayors that was actually like loved, because you know, people in New York, they don't like their mayor at all.
New York City residents do not like their mayor. But he was really a beloved mayor. To go from that to hitting rock bottom. I don't know what kind of dirt Trump has on him, but it's gotta be deep, because he's riding for this man like his life depends on it. So and he's officially the target of the Fanny Lewis's investigations to Fanny Willis's investigation in Georgia. Yeah, those suss out to get him because he was about
to get them. Yeah. So I don't know what's gonna happen with Mr Giuliani, but he's about I'm just saying, if Alan Weisselburg jump ship, I felt like Giuliani is not gonna be far behind. That's what That's what my gut tells me, because, like I said, Alan Wisenberg, that was Trump's as cool, like they was tight with the crimes together, and he is pleaded guilty and said, yeah, I'm as testified. So I don't know what does happened
with that? You know who you know who I think is the most disappointed in all that this is Rod de Santis because Ron de Santis wants them to have something on him, so he could they can remove him out the equation because so he can run for the president. Well, if we're gonna be honest, will not be honest, I'll say, in my opinion, And for that, in my opinion, I only think that the way that Trump had a possibility of winning is if the presidency, if he were to
run again, is if he ran against Joe Biden. I think if uh Trump has to go up against Ron de Santis in the primary, he's gonna lose. I really do think that. I don't think that he would beat Ron descendants. I understand that his base is very um energized and they're very loyal and everything, but these some of the primaries we're starting to see it's kind of shown to split I think in in mega maga world.
So I don't think that he would actually beat Ron de Santists if they were to run against each other. I think Trump would lose. Well, that's and and the Sensus is way more dangerous than Trump. People don't know that because it was the Sensus is smarter than Trump. Well, the Stanist actually knows the law. Trump doesn't know government. He doesn't know law. So that's why Trump that he knows how to scam and around one who my god. But in terms of actually knowing like government policies and
how things work, Trump don't know that. But to your point, Ron de Sances does too. Because that's why I've said previously before in retrospect, if we had to get a Republican duo between Trump and Pence. I'm glad we got Trump and not Pence's president, because that would have been like some real life handmade tale times that we would have would have been living in. Because Mike Pence knows the law, he knows government. That's the most dangerous thing
you can do right there. So I want to give a shout out to um to one not one of your favorite people, and right now she's one of man because she found herself again, which is Liz Cheney. Because yeah, she did support Trump, but she did come out and found her dignity and found her self respect by voting against him. She lost in a major way, but I think she's gonna make her comeback. I think I also
think back. So what what's happening until this? Chaney is called karma al karma Lord, because you was with me and Liz Chaney for about a week ago. No, I wasn't. I was never with Liz Cheney. When Trump was in office, She's voted on his side nine pcent of the time. It wasn't until he incided a coup in a surrection. Now all of a sudden she has a problem with that, but she was in agreement with his policies not evener
cent of the time. I ain't got no sympathy for her, and I all of a sudden she developed a moral calm this and she's like, oh, no, Trump is wrong, this is wrong, and she lost. That's karma. She might be getting some of her daddy's karma too, because if we're gonna really talk about it, Dick Cheney was the one that runs that They ran the country when George Bush was president. He should have been running on sept Timothy eleven because George Bush was sitting there reading a
program said young kids. But I think Liz Cheney headed John McCain come to Jesus moment, because we remember John McCain was for us either until he found out his number was about to get called. That's true too. Well. He was also dying too, so you know that's what That's what I mean, mm hmm. But I'm I don't have anything for Liz Cheney. I think, you know, karma
just kind of got to her. I'm glad that she didn't want her legacy to be that so good for her, but I think it was just a little bit too late. The damage was done. You vote with him, not even set the time you'd already implemented the damage in the country. You just didn't like the fact that, you know, the white people with hating like Spider Man trying to scale
the Dawn Building. I'm loving the fact that that the Democrats, the Democrats have finally seemed like they are trying to do something in Unison because they have been knocking them out and some of these primaries and knock gonna have somebody's Republicans. Well, we're gonna talk about that in the next episode. But yes, for sure, um that the waves that makes mcconna thought he was gonna have seen is it is getting very scary with the situation where America.
And I'm telling you that the mass shootings have not stopped. They they seem to have slowed down for a minute. But I was watching the news today, Lauren, and they're talking about they fired the chief in your valley, Texas. I'm so looking forward to Texas being flipped. And I know it's gonna be like the Anti Christ when it happens, because Texas has never been blue. But the way Abbott has dropped the ball with you, Baldy, I think a lot of people are frustrated and that ro versus Wade
and the whole gay deal. I think Texas is tired of his bullshit and they might go with better or they might snatch up better or if he played his cards right, but he got to play completely right, I think I agree. I think it's his time. And yeah, I think Texas in general is really sick of not only Greg Abbott but also Kim Pacts in their attorney general. Um because to your point, there's just been too many instances.
It was the you know, uh, the abortion band, the actually complete abortion band that you wanted to go after parents who had transgeneral kids to have doctors snitch on them if they're trying to get form on therapy. You know, there was a Valuy situation where you were praising you know, the officers and the chief complete so they did touch up the job and it could have been working on catastrophic.
There's just been so many different instances where he's just blatantly shown, you know, I don't care about my constituents. I'm racist, I'm sexist, and it is what it is. And the same thing with his attorney general. So one thing I will say about Beato, he is the complete opposite. Not only does he have a moral compass, but we've also talked about to be very passionate, maybe sometimes a little too emotional, But I think I think Texas as a whole is probably sick of the lack of empathy
that their government officials are showing their state. So I think that's can definitely work in Beato's favor to get him to win. You know what, you know, what's that running uh lord, is that Abbot could have still been in that position. To Abbot came out when it when you valud the first half, and I think the exact same day that happened, he came out and made a
statement and said it could have been much worse. I'm telling you that was the nailing his conference to me, because you cannot say that to people who just lost that huge or their love. Was he just he just was reckless with this. To me, that was when they knew always over for you, plays you're done if you ain't never nothing else they said, those people away. That
was the one sament that maybe knows that she was done. Yeah, some of my coworkers were actually in Austin this past weekend because they have pride and I'm mind you Austin is more of a liberal city within Texas, but the overarching thing was their stick of avid ship. Basically vote said so, and I mean in Austin, I said, it isn't more a little more liberal, but they still got quite a few white folks there. So for that to be the overarching theme, I think is also kind of
a telltale sign. So I hope a lot of these crazy Republican, sexist and racist governors, um is there. You know there are times up. I think Ted Cruise the seed is up in two years, and I'm not mistaken at this point, but Cortexas just used to new leadership because who they have there now is it's just it ain't it Texas Angels and we hoping you I'll come out in Georgia State, sy y'all put Stacys in this office. Y'all better come out of heavy in Georgia. Keep it blue. Yeah.
I think Stacy and I've run on what you've said this before, but I think Stacy's actually gonna win. I think the presidency. The presidency erase was definitely a telltale and the fact that she was able to turn Georgia blue, it just gave people hope I think so, I feel like people are really going to turn out in droves to vote for her. Um and I even got to give their Secretary of States and kudos um wrapping bur her. He's not for it, he's not with the b SIS time.
So I'm hoping that all the votes are counted properly and you know she gets her just do because she was definitely robbed. Well that's the scary part because the Republicans didn't implemented like eight or nine different Secretary of States and different states Secretary states, uh over the voting and the voting laws and machines. That's what's scary. They
still playing hard of ball. But I'm glad that the Democrats are finally trying to get on board and see the game that they're playing and trying to beat them at their own game. Yeah, I mean it took them forever in a day, But I think with the overturning of Roe versus Way, because I think the Democrats just have this idea that oh, that's never gonna be overturned.
Now that that was overturned officially, I think it kind of sent those shock waves through UM the party to say, Okay, we need to adjust what we're doing, because I've also said this too, I think that we need to start, you know, electing younger people. We've got too many old white people in these governments, um positions. They're a bit out of touch, and we need some new gloved in the game. Not to say, you know, younger is necessarily better, but it's just kind of what's needed at this point.
I think America is probably one of the few countries where we have you know, almost eight year old men sitting this President of the United States. You know, Nancy's eighty two, and she's a figure of the House, you know. So I'm just saying I think we need some some younger blood in there too, because when we don't do that and don't strategize properly, we have instances where Trump is able to elect three different Supreme Court justices, you know, to the court, and now we have his grave shift
in then ROVERSUS legates overturned, so it's all interconnected. So all liars and all that some bs. She Trump put three Supreme Court justice in all who said that they would not turn overturn reverses way, and all three of them stand out to do it. Yeah, but we do that was alive though. They just said that so that way, you know, they said what they needed to say so they could get elected to a lifetime appointment. That's all that was. You get a check forever. It's guaranteed unless
you step down. Yeah, so you can sit on the highest court in the land for at least the next fifty years. You were and guaranteed. Well, this Friday and said the ladies and gentle, I will be at Tommy Tease in Pleasanton, California. Get your tickets at the Tommy Tees website. And Septem the first and fourth alber in Chicago at a fantasy nightclub. Get your tickets on event bright. But yeah, Lauren, what's not a logo? Model here and left and learn like we got a logo too, We
got new stuff. Don't scared, um, you're a laugh and learn. We have a saying that we're never trying to get anybody to change your mind. We're simply trying to get you to use your mind. Who I claim what a mind is a terrible thing and wasting. So y'all is wasting, y'all. Man, y'all better, y'all better make the right decisions. And your decision not somebody else's, because I'm telling you all right
now we leave in some crucial times. The message we're leaving with y'all on this week's episode is to please make sure that all your ducks in the road, make sure that you got your registration card that matches your I D, that matches your passport, because they are playing hardball and the numbers don't matter. Actually, they might not let your vote. And I hate to say it like that, but your vote is important. Don't let nobody tell your
vote it's not important. Your vote is very important because, like Lauren always says, if it wasn't, they wouldn't be trying so hard to stop us from voting and change these vote laws. And we we and Lauren would talking to any other day and she made a point ship Monday, and you said about that we just was allowed to vote and what was not even fifty years so year ago voting. We have to, yeah, and we have to take advantage of that. We have to take advantage of that.
That's the only way we're gonna have some kind of say so, even though we really still don't have a big say so, it still shows that we have some power. So yeah, already used the power. And you know that's what they're saying about Joe Biden pass and they the law about the student loans, that he's doing that for votes. Well, why not y'all y'all did y'all passed our coronavirus? Who was that for votes? No? No, Well, on that note,
Joe Body could be on this. Joe Body can put his path on his head and put his and put a shoe string around his ankles and guess what I'm still gonna vote for? Maybe comes down between him and that other one. Mm hmm.
