He laugh. If you watch Coffee Time the baby you know the name Flame my Role also known as my role Flame. Come in with last and come in with Don love Lunds. Baby, you better catch it when you can't drop a knowledge from Fatherhood of Politics shouting now comics just paying homics. What's up? Tip? Yeah you know she raped shot Towns on speaking to the grown a second.

We're gonna last cut of the kicking and at the end we leave it which is a lift dis favorite like you want to revisit, so your first like a listen, young folks like it's lip all folks that we did it. Hey, no do what you do? No, do what you do? Nois do what I do. Hey, Hey, welcome to laugh and learn. I am your host Flame My Road, along with my beautiful and gorgeous co host, Ms. Lauren Howkin. Hi Laurie, Hi, Flame, how are you You're I've been missing you girl? What are you ba girl? Chill. I

just got back to l A yesterday morning. I was in d c Um. I did a great show at the Kennedy Center with Patti LaBelle and Gladys Night on her Road AD's Day. Um. It was great. They were both enjoy to work with. They had fantastic performances. And then I went to New York right afterwards, UM to see my great grandmother. She turns a hundred and three on January two, and she told me I needed to come see her for the end of the year. So I worked it out and got to go, you know,

hang out with her for a little bit. And I also saw a really beautiful player piano lesson that has Samuel Jackson UM John Davis, Yes, and it's directed by UM, Samuel Jackson's wife, Halatani Jackson UM and Danielle Brooks with it as well. It was a fantastic UM rendition of who played Jackson. She has a great voice, yes, and she actually got to sing in the middle of the

show too, So it's a great story. UM. It was about us, our people, UM and I actually and this is the time of the year when you know, Broadway Cares comes out and they're trying to raise money for various causes to breast cancer, to HIV and AIDS. So I actually bought a sign play bill. It's in my house now. But overall, just really busy working. But it's just been you know, really good positive energy great execution, production and just you know, networking. So I've been busy,

but it's been good. Well, I'm glad you've been working, dear. That's very professional. You got to you got to. We need the money, right, we need the money. Good God, they're trying to me. I'm glad. That was How was your holiday? Because we weren't here. We were I was in Seattle for Thanksgiving? You were in where I was here actually for Thanksgiving. Um, this was like the first one without my mom, um. But I would say the

good thing for me is we didn't like holidays. Weren't that big of a deal with my family, so it wasn't like too much of a void. Um. But my dad came over and I just cooked and he and I hung out and watched sports for the day and then he went home. It was very chill, laid back and that was it. Are you has been a good door professional? La well child, it's been established that I just cook on holidays because he already tried to ask me, like, you're gonna be home for Christmas? And I said, wow,

because you need me to cook? He said exactly. So oh, hi, Aaron, that's our manager, Aaron. We want to say hello, Tom. I mean I'm sorry to our producer girl, thank you. And I ain't even had a lovely not yet antie to be back. Ladies. Yah, we were working last week. Lord been traveling. It's just been a mess. Traveling is not what it used to be. But I do have

to travel this weekend to New Orleans. So if you're going to be in New Orleans this weekend, I will be at the Civic Center on Saturday even at December the tenth, hosting the annual Queen and King pageant. So if you're gonna be there, let me now listen to Timmy having to fit. I'm sorry, y'all. That's my dog and he ain't even in the house. He's outside. Oh now I can hear what you says something I didn't hear me at first. Good God. But outside of that, Lauren,

what is going on in the world. This is laughing learning, y'all. We're gonna laugh a little bit today. We're gonna learn little bit, We're gonna talk a little smack. Let me start off light. Let me just say how proud I am of l A's new mayor, Karen Bass. She will be sworn in this Sunday by the one and only Vice President, Ms. Kamala Harris. So if you guys are in town, if you got the invite, you can go to the swearing and I won't be here in New Orleans. M hm um yeah. I mean it seems like a

lot has happened in the world since we've been busy. Oh. One of my favorite shows that I catch every morning, I catch well, I catch too. Oh my god, this dog has drove me crazy. Two shows, Good Morning America and of course I watched my bff. She's not I'm not her bff, but she's might bef might heat Miss Gail King. But Amy Robot from Good Morning America and t J. Holmes were apparently who both were married but both are getting divorced divorces were caught in a love scandal.

They won't They were called frattenizing with one another. That's and that is a that is a policy that is not sit well with ABC. They were doing some strange things on the weekends Baby and the after parties Baby, and they got caught and they I don't think that they were reckless. I just you just never know what the Papa Rizzi is. And they had pictures of him with his hands on her butt, and and the wife then came out and said that he was with And

that's who I feel. See. I don't know Amy robots situation, but I do know when she was fighting cancer, her husband's right there with her. He never left her side. He and then t J. Holmes wife, whose birthday was in August or septemberso as recently as that, they spent that day together. They've been getting a divorce for a minute, but they spent the time together. So t J. Holmes is a busy little beaver. What the TJ staying for? Well, I'll just say this, if you're not doing it behind

closed doors, you were being reckless. I mean the fact that you were doing it in the first place. She was being reckless. Okay, but yes, people cheat, but there's a way to cheat. That's all I'm gonna say. You out with all. I'm saying you out in public, rubbing her booty, being you know, showing pd A in public for you to get caught. It's almost like y'all wanted to get caught. If y'all were just gonna be cheating,

y'all needed to cheat private. So clearly it's giving y'all wanted to get caught and t J. Holmes, you're married to a whole attorney. Yes, she may be an immigration lawyer, she may not have that particular area where she practices. She's still an attorney. She's got friends, that's all I'm gonna say. So, yes, that's what it is. It was not smart on his behalf at all. So let me just let me just box it up. And you black player, and she ain't. She ain't white. But if you ain't black,

it's still in this country. It's still like a leg of I hate to say that, but that's how it is. Excuse me, it's very scary. And I'm t J. Hulmes. What what's so sad is t J. Holmes waited his am to get that position on Good Morning America because for years they would just use him as an afterthought. To me, just here a stepping in, a filling in, a replacement, and then he finally gets a morning anchor position, and baby, the power of the poo Nani said stop

in the name of love. You ain't keeping this job because they have taken them both off the air, and with all this candle, my biggest issue and I'm gonna say it publicly. My biggest issue was with a statement that I heard that they allegedly Robin Robert supposedly said that she didn't want to return to work with all that scandal going on because she didn't like that in

the workplace. But here's the issue, Robin, you have been very transparent about everything, opening with your sexuality and everything, and nobody judged you could teach you and major feels some kind of way you shouldn't even have nothing to say about that that had nothing to do with you. That's what I don't like. I'm telling you. It is so many double standards in this world. But hey, I don't work as at ABC because you would catch me friend Nazon with um well not anymore because he don't

work to Chris. If Chris Cooma was there a while baby well well, I also saw that they said, you know, they weren't going to pull them off the air because unless the ratings were affected, their ratings skyrocketed since the whole cheating scandal broke. But as of this morning, they pulled them, you know, temporarily. Who knows what's going to happen off the air. But that article I read. I

know exactly what the article you're talking about. It was supposed that the people in the workplace, we're talking about it and they couldn't get their jobs done. And I'm like, what yours gossip? Everybody got the rich people got support people cause everybody gossips, and that was got to be And they both cute. It would be different. One of

them's funny looking, but they're both pretty people serious. Please just here when they can do it in front of the mirror, because we were like, oh, I can look at this because you imagine people in the mirror doing it. The mirror just turned around, like I can't look at this ship. This ship is really I'm not looking at this ship just crack, horrible flame and real horrible. Well, speaking of people being reckless, let's slide into um, this

uh political candidate. I don't know what else to call him, dropt but um herschel Walker has been uh caught saying uh very peculiar things. I'll say um. He recently called his runoff election and erection, which I think could also show where his mind spaces. Uh. And then in addition, he had a very elaborate speech that included vampires versus werewolves, in which he would prefer to be. Uh. And mind you, this is the Republican candidate for Senate for Georgia. Did

you see your ex president but your best president? The ex and best president say he had those same thoughts too, but he was seven years old. I did. I did see President Obama say that. President also said I would like for him to be either one he wants. I want him to be whatever you want. I just don't want him to be a United State senator. Yep said, I'm telling you both my titty and my penis and my testos all hit the ground at the same time. Oh, it was a beautiful thing. I was walking down dragon

through this house. This is laughing learning did a mic drop with him. Okay, I dropped, and the balls dropped and the booze dropped, and there was a lot of swinging challenge. Baby. I was dragging it through the house like the old ball and chain the wife the ball and chain. He had me, you know, Lauren, and I thought after we took control of the Senate the Democratic Party that they were realized he has embarrassed him so much they would just let him loose. But I see

that the governor. They just came out and still and spoke up for him. So inside Scoop, I have this happened probably right after the election, Mitch McConnell supposedly reached out to Brian Kemp and asked him to endorse and support herschel Walker, which obviously, for obvious reasons, that was a smart reason to do because he did beat Stacey Abrahams. So there was you know, a or you know, a portion of his constituency that they're hoping could you know,

turn their support over to herschel Walker. So, you know, in a political space, in a campaign, that makes sense, but the fact that it's it's the doubling down for me, you know what I mean. And I've even seen some other Republican you know politicians say that, you know, the Kelly Lofflers would have been you know, better candidates, you know, even though she was caught you know, stealing money, you know from the stock market and things like that. But um,

he's just a really bad candidate. But it's almost like they're so far into it now there's nothing more that you can do other than support herschel Walker on the Republican end. So one point nine million people voted for him the first time. If those same one point nine million people vote for him, that's really gonna show what's wrong with this country. I'm so sorry because anybody that's calling an election and erection brother the state of George.

It's the state of Georgia. I ain't gonna get it here. Because if he was running for something in the whole country, I think more people would be like, no, y'all can y'all can have that down in Georgia. That ain't That ain't working everywhere else. It's just not gonna fly. It's so sad too, because when I thought we couldn't be more he's not embarrassing me because he don't represent me.

Let me just say that. But when I just I'm just saying, as a black person in this country, when we thought we couldn't be more embarrassed, it's hit people like him and some of the so many others that will say some the most or do the most outlangish ridiculous stuff. And I thought I was embarrassing because I had titties in a venus. Good God, it way worse

than me. Uh Well, I also think too, on a medical end, I really think that herschel Walker suffers from ct I really do um and even the way that like, I've talked to my dad sometimes about him, you know, because we talked about politics sometimes, but he was just explaining to me how badly this man used to get hit and you know in football, and how they would

still give him the ball. He could have people with people knew he was getting the ball and they were still giving it to him, and he was getting tackled by crazy and he was playing during a time where you know, protective gear wasn't up to par, so he really might be suffering from CTE. But you know, they're using him as a puppet. So it's I think he did when he was part of the NFL, is what you're saying. They used him the end there are using

the hell out of him. Now. Damage will be the state of Georgia and US if he becomes the United States Senator. Ye are totally make better decisions black folks in this country, I say, and make better decisions, uh of stealing money, since you brought it up, because I wasn't gonna say nothing about steal the money because I

had just rowed this twenty from this girl. But she didn't know I had uh stealing money Brett Farve, who has not been in the news for stealing more than six million dollars from the state of Mississippi, but to stay for some strange recent everybody seems to be upset and from this state of Mississippi and so many other people in the world with Dion Sanders because he broke bad and left Mississippi football. What was it Jackson saving? Yeah, he left Jackson safe to go to uh Colorado. Listen.

So I've got some mixed feelings about this. While yes, I know that you know, coaching staffing, anything related to sports administration standpoint, change is inevitable. Change is always gonna happen. What I've heard about is that Dion Sanders really got an amazing group of young men together, led them, coached them, and his coaching wasn't just about being on the field, but he coached them off the field as young black men in this world. Thank you. He was at a

historically black college. You know, he stepped up in the midst of when Jackson was having their water crisis. He protected those boys. He actually put love, time and caring to them. And recently, even with the new year that's happening a lot of you know, some of those young recruits out of high school decided to go to UM Jackson State because of Dion Sanders. And he's leaving now to go to College Colorado, which is the p w Y and the money for his contract isn't even guaranteed

on his end. And then but the university came out today and said that they actually don't have the money yet. They're still working on it, but he's already agreed to leave. So my whole thing is, like I said, I know, change is inevitable, it's going to continue to happen in these spaces, but just to we need leaders like him for those young black men, and the fact that he's leaving them to go, you know, to a p W I it just I don't want you. Sorry, I don't like,

I don't like. I don't like the wishy washing and stuff at all. That's what I was like, Deon Neon. Dion been a public figure being in sports for many, many years, and I agree with you long he did wonderful things down there for Jackson State to turn them boys around, and everybody, like you said, everybody think it's on the field. It was that off the field ship that helped those boys, talking to them boys, lifting them up, making them know how powerful they are is not just

black men, but me and period in this country. Reminding them of what the capacities or who they are and what they possessed to be better leaders for this country. And then you jumped ship because of money that you don't even guarantee to have. That is the old adage a burden hands worth two in the bush. But Deon Santez was always iffy, let's be very honest. He was always like tricky dick. Yeah, and on top of that, he led them to championships too. I think they actually

just won their Southwestern Conference whatever it's called. They just won their championship for a second year in a row. So they or he was already established with him. Those boys were comfortable with him, they knew him. They got him, He got them. But then let me tell you that money with them checks baby, but like you just say it, it's a check, but it ain't even guarantee a check. That's my thing. I don't understand if you're leaving because

you know everybody. I don't like to be in nobody's pockets. No, we never know somebody's financial situation, so and I don't know the specific reasons that he's leaving. So i'd understand if you had to leave because you need some money or whatever the situation may be. But this money ain't even guaranteed. So why are you leaving these boys? What was the reason? So I don't get more of a

select your phone? Maybe I don't know. Can talking about on the field, well, speaking too, of craziness in the sports arena, um, I would say, what around oh yeah, Thanksgiving?

Right around Thanksgiving? A photo of Cowboys the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones surfaced where he is actually standing not at Central High and Little Um in Little Rock, Arkansas, but at North High North Central High, excuse me UM, which was a different school, and he's actually an aggressor and an agitator of young black students trying to come into school and integrate. Now, Jerry Jones came out and said his coach told him not to go. He went anyway,

and he was there just because he was curious. He actually wasn't an agitator, that was that was his excuse for being there. He was curious and just wanted to see what was going on, UM, but he didn't actually know the whole um In denounced of what was happening, which we all know is bs. The media is not

really um crucifying it him for it. You know, Kyrie Irvan was crucified for making so called anti semitic comments from post the link on you know, his social media to a movie that's on Amazon, which Amazon CEO also said he's not taking down mind you, And UM people are giving Jerry Jones grace and saying it was sixty six years ago, he was fourteen years old. Why are we trying to, you know, hold this man accountable and all these things, so which I find very interesting. So

the the double standard is is very evident. And I'll also just s this out to the Dallas Cowboys. They never had a black coach. So oh, they never have a black coach. That's all I'm saying. UM. I love the fact that Lebron James publicly spoke up and spoke out because he did say some disparaging things about Kyrie Irving. I think Carrie Irvin um got a bad rap. But I think that they stand with him, Like we said before,

they didn't stand with Colin Kaepernick. Either. But um um, because it happened sixty six years ago, you may not be as angry about it now. But because it came out publicly and because of this new whole, woke cultural society that we live in, they are holding people feet to the fire for ship that happened two thousand years ago. They're gonna come be mad at Jesus because he wore

sandals in the same Good God. They just I'm not giving a man a past, Lauren, But it was sixty six years ago, and you know, I am the first black bitch to to stand up for us. But it was a long time ago. I love the fact that he admitted that the coach told him not to go and he went anyway. I'm not bad in the fact that he said that he was curious. I'm not mad. I'm I'm thinking that you went because if some went down, you might have jumped in and been been part of that.

But it was a very long time ago. If to be fair, I'm only being fair, and I hate that we hold people to faith be to the fire of the ship that happened a long time ago, because if that's the case, we are gonna be in trouble. We've always said some crazy stuff, maybe not so much racist, but crazy. Well, I'm gonna have to disagree with you

because so you ain't staying on the bare Well. I have to disagree with you only because I think when it comes to issues of racism, um series of events are cumulative, so that him being there is indicative of

behavior that he's probably practiced in his adulthood. We see a lot of times there are a lot of owners of these you know, basketball teams, football teams that they turned out to be extra ringly racist, their families are extremely racist, and it's not until they're actually you know, put out into the open where they're like, okay, yeah, we gotta sell the team. We can't on the team anymore because there's been so many instances of that. My thing is the double standard of oh it's not that

big of a deal because it was that long ago. Well, that one incident coming up could be indicative of what he's done for the past sixty six years. Like I said, Cowboys, I never had a black coach, never had to head black coach. Why is that a lot of what staff? Ai'm black, so they you know who I think they should talk to A lot of players that have been up under him while being on team because they were

no firsthand, because they had to experience it. That might be yeah, I mean, I'm sure, but that's my whole thing. I'm not in the space of giving this man grace. You did what you did, and it seems like you're just trying to cover it up and make sure it's not that big of a deal. And the fact that people in the media, like the stephen A. Smith's and other people saying that it was sixty six years ago, why is it that big of a deal. It is a big deal. It is because it's because it would

be a huge deal. Why with Kyrie Irving Nike for instance, today just advertised with him over this whole anti Semitic thing. His deal with Nike is done. Where where are the consequences? He's not getting any consequence? Why because he owns the Dallas Cowboys. John James for speaking up, because he definitely dropped the ball with Kyrie, But I appreciate him saying something in a press conference about this and showing and showcasing the double standards. So shout out to him for

doing that. Who the racism in America has gotten out of control? Who did it? Lauren? Who did it? Joe? Listen? And if we're gonna continue on this racist issue, let's do it. Um, there was an incident at Buckingham Palace um where all men and I'm going to look up her name so that way I actually say are goods name and not just say a woman not with the queen or not with the queen. The queen has already transit the Queen consort. We we gotta give her, give

her the correct title Queen Consort. Um incident. I know the story to whether reporter kept asked her where are you really from? Where are you really from? Where are you really from? Right? So, a member of the Buckingham Palace Um household has resigned after she inflicted racial comments at Camilla's Queen Consort event. And it was basically to raise awareness of violence against women and girls. So um,

there's basically the story goes. An honorary member of Buckingham Palace has resigned after she repeatedly asked a black woman who runs a charity for survivors of domestic violence abuse what countries she came from, despite her insistence on that she was a British national so they detailed the conversation where she asks this young woman, you know, um, so where are you from? And she goes, I'm British national. No, but where are you from? And she goes, ma'am, you

know I'm from Britain. I'm from Britain. No, no, no, but like where your parents from? And she goes, oh, my parents integrated here in the fifties. She goes, ah, there it is, you're your Caribbean. So she kept pushing and pushing and pushing, which just showcase, you know, the fact that you're just gonna be blataney racist in my face.

And I also saw some reports that when she first walked up to her her locks were actually covering I guess her name badge or a pin or something she had, and this Buckingham Palace staff member pushed her hair to the side to try and see, you know, who she was and where she hailed from. So um, but you know, the royal family is not racist. So there's oh they're not racist, Lauren, they're real. They're royal and rico. All those are speaking of royal and regal. Um who was here?

Will you? And was just here? They were in um they were in Boston were President Biden. Well that's the other funny part. Two. They went to the Boston Celtics game basketball game. While they were there and um Jalen Brown, who was a player for the Boston Celtics, was asked the question during the post press um event after the game was over and said, how did it feel to have you know, Princeton, Prince the Princeton and Princess of Wales here? And he said it was just a regular

game for him. And one of the coaches act was asked a similar questions that you know, how did it feel to have a royal family here? And his response was, Mary, Jesus and Joseph were here. I did not know that. So reporters of course laughed and he said, well, that's the only royal family that I recognized. So now let me ask you a question. Was that a white who said that? Or a black guy's back. He's one of the black coaches on the Celtics coaches and go after him?

What was that going out? Go after him about because were black? Well, not not that, not that part, but he said Mary, Joseph, Mary, Mary Jesus and Joseph and not Katie William because you know been if they if they could have came out of my mouth, it would have been all hell would have broke loose. Why don't you gotta be roying where they are? Roy, don't you read your Bible and the Bible coming all different languages,

you can read that ship in every language. Well, no, they didn't get any backlash, and I thought that the energy and responses were very valid. I chuckled. So the world is coming to an end. I'm moving to Canada. Canada gonna be the the only country that's standing when the world comes to an end. But this's co white folks. I like it really quick. I just want to go back to the Buckingham Palace incidents. So the woman that made the racist comments, her name was Lady Susan Hussey,

which I think her last name is hilarious um. And the hussy yes. And the woman that was, you know, on the receiving end of these offensive marks, her name is nagozie Fulani. So I'm glad that Lady Hussey has now resigned for her offensive remarks towards So if the lady the other lady would say look at here, hussy, it wouldn't have been a read because that is her Actually, oh that should have been me up and then looking here, Hussy,

I think it's the delivery of it all. Well, wow, damn, I'm so glad we're not doing anything k W today because it's just too much. It's just out of control. It's just out of control. Well, the last thing that I wanted to bring up is Donald Trump. Yes, we have to talk about Donald Trump because he's all over the news. Well, since we say issues, and you brought up Donald Trump before you go to your story, he did not speak up a k W at all. After he did not he called me a demented man who

happens to be black. That's what Trump called um, Mr West. You know that really hurts my feelings though, because let me tell you, why what do I always say when I started my comedy, I'm a comedian. That happens to me. So yes, he said Mr West was a demented man who happens to be black. So this is the same man who jumped on his lap and he was the greatest president. He was the first black president. He wore the head and woo woa that. Uh yeah, okay, come on a Lauren, let me move that to the side.

Let's get to Donald Trump. No, but I think all of that was valid though, because you know, Mr West also asked Donald Trump to be his vice president. Did you see that? Absolutely not. It has never got Donald Trump will never be his vice president because he will never be the president. Well, Cason point. That's why you know, he had to come out and make all these statements because Mr West brought a lot of right winged um, bigoted and among other things, additional folks to this meeting

that Trump claimed he knew nothing about. But anyway, that's neither here nor there. Um. Recently, Donald Trump, though, did come out and say that, you know, he was against the Constitution and that we should do away with it so that what he could become president again. M hmmm. Is that what it's going to take him to become the president again? I mean, I don't see what other

avenue he probably has. But um, a lot of Democrats the White House came out and you know, denounced what he said, and the expectation was that other you know, GOP folks officially need to separate from him because he's trying to invalidate the Constitution and that's you know, the biggest treason of all. So, uh, but doing away with the constitution would also mean that we could make President

Obama the president again. Huh, we couldn't, but like, I don't know how Michelle would feel about that because oh and also to let's just take a quick moment. I'm sorry, let's do some black girl magic um praise real quick. I don't know if you've seen these photos of Michelle

Obama while she's out on her book tour. But our good first, forever first lady, I should say, is rocking some beautiful goddess braids in different hairstyles, and she's giving me all the black girlma and the heel there nobody to do that but a black woman jigon and some and this is was no tight jogging suit. This was like one of the jogging TuS that you really work out the hit, you know, I said that, ain't nob the Southside woman all day of day long. Babs giving

her best life. She is giving um, she's glowing, it's vibrants. It's just it's all the things that we need right now. So Michelle Obama looks beautiful on her tour and whoever did her braids? I know, sis is getting a lot of referrals right now, So you know that pre that rockety baby. If Michelle a five hundred of them braids, them braids are not five thousands, I mean she should shoot. It's inflations of nine percent right now. Yesterday's price what

not today's price. That guy said it first. Yesterday's price is not today's price. So but anyway, so a little years coming to an m laughing line, I see it. It's almost what we got nine episodes, eight episodes left. I think we got about eight episodes left. Yes, indeed, so we're going we are, we are coming back next season. Yeah, but we're coming back to politics. Only Oh well is looking crazy? What the candidates and we don't know what's happening,

I think. And let me go back to something that you said I meant to to talk about, because when you said Ms McConnell called Brian Kimp to ask Miss McConnell needs brand Kemp and in his left hand piety because according to the Senate, where we even seen on the news, they want to get rid of Ms McConnell. So Ms McConnell needs an ason hole or if he wants to hold that seat. Yeah, it's all about strategy and its board. That's exactly what it is. It's just board,

just moving different just pieces. So do you think that mc uh what's his name? Mac? Um McVeigh is his nack mcveige. No, not Timothy McVeigh. What's his name? What's his name? In the damn GOP didn't want to be the new uh speak the leader of the Senate. Um, it's it's not Mac Gates. I think he were going towards Mac Gate's. His name is Mac somebody or another, not Mac. That's the first name. His last name is mac. Kevin McCarthy is the When I said Mac, I'm thinking

big Mac. But I met McCarthy. M McCarthy is trying to become the House speaker and apparently he has the votes to do so. Um, so we'll see. But I'm trying to think the name of the individual it's escaping me, challenger for Mitch McConnell's seat. Um m, it was Robert. I can't believe um. And speaking of speaking of the seats, because I'm I'm gonna tell you what I'm so, what's his name? That's what it is. I'm so bummed about

Nancy Pellos. I'm grateful for Nancy Blos for all the years of service that she served in the government and Speaker of the House. And I hate the way that they have and still such a fear in this woman because I don't believe it was it might have been time for her retire. I'm not going to beat that up, like the way that they went about it, because I think they used a fear tactic. I think they scared this woman by trying to kill her husband to saying,

you know what, enough is enough. I'm done with this. They're eighty two years old, they're senior citizens, that is a senior citizen in every country, and she stepped down. But I love the fact that a brother, a black man, Kim Jefferies, has gotten this position. And from what I've been looking at for his politics and his policies, I think he's gonna be good for the American people. Let me say of that good for black people too, but really good for the American people. Well, I've always liked

Hakim Jeffries. Um I'm very happy for him. One because has he actually been confirmed to this seat yet, Yes, it hasn't been sworn in, but he has been confirmed to the seat Okay. So I'm very happy about that because I actually think he's the first UM black person to hold this seat. I don't know if the black person to hold this so, which is very important at this point in time. Representation. Representation is important. But he's you know, been on several committees that have been you know,

integral parts of implementing change within the House. So um, I'm very happy for him. And I think that it was a good secession plan. I'll say that for sure. But I've said a while ago I thought that it was time for Nancy to step down. You know, we need to be getting some young blood in these spaces, um, because you know, like I said, nothing is constant but change. So I'm happy with that secession plan for sure. Wow. Yeah, I just don't like the way that they did it.

But you know, I love my net Pelosi. That's my baby, and I was I was ready gonna fight that man. They broken her house. Baby, I was ready to go. He could come on with his hammer, because he got his hammer. I got mad, That's very true. My hammer got booked. But I got mad. Uh So, and this something never dune moment in America with politics. No, it's

not It's never a dull moment at all. Never. And I just say this publicly because I don't know who's listening to this show, who hears us, and who's not. But I would not frednize with any employees at ABC. If I was that morning anchor on Good Morning America, could you see me every morning said good morning America, girl, I would wake good Morning America. Speaking of waking up Good Morning America. Shout out to the wonderful Angela Yee, who has got her own new show on I Heart.

Who's she's the sister? I don't because we all work in My Heart, and she moved away from the Breakfast Club, and I know they have openings. They're looking for new people to put put it in, So we're gonna it's gonna be interesting to see which direction they go with this whole breakfast club thing going. I think you should go along. You were good on there. I looked at you the other day on there. Ch'ad stop playing anyway? Um oh, let me tell you something about you. Let

me let me tell you something. Don't you first? I would never let you discredit you. I knew you always had a sharp mouth on you. But you remember with this job you feel then one day, girl that se fits you perfectly. You. You were on there use a little low key because it was about me, but when it was your time to shine, when I said, oh you got to float this all you girl, you took over. You would be because you're your unknown name. As far as uh you know stardom and the sharp and you

you you would be a good addition on the show. Lauren, Well, I appreciate you thinking so highly of me. Thank you, But I will just say the same thing back to you. If anybody needs to be on that show as you, you'd bring controversy with Shoot, the ratings alone would go up because as many haters as you got in the world, they'd be tuning in just to criticize you. So listen, So we're gonna say this out loud. Flame needs to fill that spot because you are diversity, equity and inclusion.

You check all the boxes exactly, check all the boxes so agency exactly. You know what, if they publicly I'm gonna say, if they if they offer me the position and everything falls into place, of course I would love to have that position because I would look at it like opening up the world to be able to be more accepting to everybody. My presentation is different. But I see the world and I see people. I don't see what I want you to be. I see who you are, and I listen to what you have to say to me.

Hopefully you will see what I get back. I second that, And I think the other thing that you missed out of that is at your fair. You don't when you want to have a conversation with somebody, you are actually listening. You're not waiting to talk, and you're not coming from a defensive place. You're fair. And that's what we need at this point in time. We don't need hostility and anger, you know, we need to be able to have conversations

to actually get things done. So but no, my a, my h G. Weik and I'm going on the starting all kinds of ship now you know who ah g and issues are. You're gonna scream, you know who it is, angry birds. Time will tell, honey, time will tell. So well, this was another amazing episode. What what what?

And on that note, here at Laugh and Learn, we have a saying that we're never trying to get anybody to change your mind, only trying to get you to use your mind because wi I flame, because you need to use your man to vote, and if you en Georgia right now, you need to be your ass at the post voting because God, Devin, we need to get we gotta get rap your war knock in this position and not hurt your walk with all that buffoonery and that conery and that foolishness. He makes us look ridiculous.

And the mind is a terrible thing the way, So don't waste your mind.
