Shouting now comics, just paying homage. What's up?
Tips?
Yeah? You know? She raised shot towns on speaking to the grown a second, we're gonna laugh, cut.
Him and kick it and at the again we leave it with just a lift. You spirits speak, you want to revisit so your first.
Second listen, young folks, so you slip, oh folks that we dig it good?
Hey, no fish, do what you do?
No this? Do what you do?
Cany no do what I do?
No this? Hey hey, it's comedians playing moroe and welcome to this week's episode of Laughing Larned.
I am here to let you guys know that it has.
Been a best up two weeks that I've been going on the road and I'm back, and we've had some experiences that we will talk about. And a lot has happened in this country and around the world since we've been gone.
We're gonna talk about it.
I have my beautiful and young and lovely and delicious co hosts MS Tipsmiths Bobby Cliffe.
Oh she got a kick out of that.
That's not good to feb Hello, we've missed you.
Hello by the lady I conned herself.
Is here, Miss Bobbycliffe, And hello to our wonderful producer Aaron Hey, mister Howard.
So yeah, we are here. We're gonna talk about it.
So let me tell you all the exciting stuff that's been going on. So I was gone for two weeks. I was in New York City with Dave Chappelle because he taped four nights in Madison Square Garden.
It was his birthday week. I was there every show.
Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to grace the Madison Square Garden stage at this time. Now remember I said that at this time because it's still coming. But I had such a great time. His team and his people.
And him rode out the red Copper for me and made me feel very very special.
Also, he celebrated his fiftieth birthday on Thursday the twenty fourth at the Cellar and I was at the Cellar with him and George Waller's Chris Rock, John Stewart, Angela Bassett the who's who of the who's who's Justin Timilate, good God by me.
Because of that Justin Timilate, I wanted to bite his booty. He was such a cutie.
Good God exactly, and.
Oh he is such a cutie.
And it was just amazing that everyone treated me so wonderfully. And I was not I was not an extra, I was not an anomaly. I was not an attraction. I was just comedian flame and that is all I've ever wanted. Just I just wanted to be comedian flames. So that was pretty dope. And outside of that, I didn't get a chance to go on stage, and I was a little disappointed about it, but I never made any deep about it, and I.
Didn't show it on my face, even I think my face tells everything about me. Dave added me to his tour, so I have five days.
So far on his tour.
So checked this to his schedule.
And checked my mind show pages because Friday is Cleveland. The eighth and then the seventeenth is Omaha, did the Eight Things is Kansas, and then I'm.
In Chicago in October, so we'll see where it's going.
It's just been real positive and yesterday I was in Vegas with I did a brunch the Sin City Brush with some people are Roman Tijure and Natiana Star. Thank you guys for the payment and one Ben dreaming me so wonderful. And then I did the Jimmy Kimmel Comedy Club last night and ripped the room with my co host, Memphis Wheel. I did my sitting, then brought him up and we had a fantastic time. So thank you to the Jimmy Kimmel Coffy Club and all the parties involved.
It's just been a great world wind of time. And I'm so excited about going out with Dave Chappelle. Can you see to hear that, Bobby, I'm gonna be on the road with the Goat?
Is that something I can't even imagine.
Well, my biggest part, my favorite part of the story that you left out was what did you do with Angela Bassett?
Thank you, Bobby, So, Angela Bassett and I went to David's private birthday party after the Seller party and we were doing Tina Turner moves together on the day. Oh it was so great, Bobby, Oh it was so much.
Oh my god, I would have died. I would have paid money just to watch that. I thought that was absolutely the best story going.
Yeah, I'm like, oh my god, I'm doing Tina Turner with Tina Turner.
Can you?
I mean, just to be in that greatness I kind of imagine and to touch all that and people have worked hard, respect each other, work well with each other.
I love it. I think it's what an experience and what lessons to learn from that? Right?
She was such an amazing woman.
She was so pleasant and kind and Bobby, she knew my kids, she knew that I had kids, and she it was it was like, oh my god, you just never know who's really watching you.
It isn't that the truth? And so you can almost say that to all of us, especially with bad baby behavior, right, you never know who's watching. So whenever you were my mother used to call it in front of company, you.
Behave So it's so you've been a positive influence. And isn't that nice that she got to see that?
Well wait a minute, oh, Bobby, Okay, now you open up a We've had their of questions.
I want to ask. So the white people used to say it too, though, I got in front of company because I know black.
Oh god, my mother used to make a fist and she'd hold it down by her side and she and she'd give you the look. In fact, my sister Teresa, we were going into mass Ones and I don't know if you know the Catholic map. It's quiet like there's no no music, no nothing, And we're walking in and my Teresa was acting up and my mother, my mother made the signal behind her and.
Teresa yells out, you go to her to pendra, Mama, you fisted me in front of all these people. Are you going to give me the smack?
Next?
Everyone turned around to look at the woman who was going to beat the poor special needs person, which wasn't the case. So let me tell you, yes, at least in the Irish community, we certainly do.
And they won't wait till later.
They give you a half a pinch in front of people, and then they really give you that pinch and twist it later when you're by yourself.
Oh well, yeah that. I didn't know that, see that.
And I used to always say, I used to always I love that old adage that we are more like than we are different.
They just blows the blows. Okay, Bobby, let's get into it.
Let's get into it, sit here and start talking about everything, but talking about I'm sorry.
So you know what we'll start off. It's kind of a sad news. We'll start off with our deaths.
So this week we've had, or we'll start last week was bar Barker come on down.
How many times have we heard that? And just knew it was?
Yep, absolutely ninety nine. What a blessed life ninety nine. He did it. He did Price is Right for thirty five years. And what we want to remember about people is his philanthropy. So he was big into also the philanthropy animals the needy. So he leaves quite a legacy behind him, and somebody else who lives quite a legacy is And I was devastated as Jimmy Buffetts, I'll I'll never have a margarita again in my lifetime that I won't think of boy Jimmy, who died of seventy six
of a rare form of skin cancer. I guess you can't be out in the sun all that time and Margherita Belle bless his heart, and without getting skin cancer. So unfortunately he passed. And then today was Steve Harve Harwell from smash Mouth. I wasn't a big smash mouth fan, certainly heard of them, but he died of fifty six after battling in a n stage liver disease. And if I remember him correctly, he struggled with alcoholism for a good portion of his life. So unfortunately that that came
to get him. God bless him hopefully.
Because alcoholism, alcoholism will definitely poison your liver.
Yeah, and you're pancreas right, It does an absolute, absolute number with that. And then the last thing that kind of died is w want is Britney Spears. After being married for fourteen months her her husband filed for divorce.
So he accused her of ly cheating on him, right.
Oh something, Yeah, and I think she's accusing him of being in it just for the money. I think fourteen months is that it has the ink dried.
Yet I'm a slave, yeah for you, so I budget.
So that was Those are our kind of sad news. And then something that I was thrilled to see in the news were the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys have had their had their day in court and they have been sentenced. Biggs has been sentenced to seventeen years and Pizzola has been sentenced to ten years for their part in the January sixth insurrection.
Oh well, then't the leader of the Proud Boys speaking?
Now? This dealed over his ass a few years ago. So he shift fire right at home going to a man's penitentiary. I'm just saying, I want want something. Right, Well, he actually did because I spoke. He actually did because I spoke about it on the Breakfast Club. Right, maybe maybe he'll say he identifies as a woman, and they put and they sent him to a woman's prints.
I'm just saying, it's that easy. Now they've made it that easy.
Well, that's kind of sad. Mitch McConnell, bless his heart. He's frozen again?
Is that frozen? Three? And he's not even Elsa?
Could you imagine they there? He was medically cleared.
He was immediately brought to the Capitol physician who has medically cleared him. I guess it has some and it could be due to age. It has got some long standing symptoms coming from He had quite a fall, I guess in March, and the New York Times says he had two just undisclosed other falls, and these are he gets hydrated and it causes light heightedness, and that's what supposedly is happening.
His people.
Not a word, not a word being said President Biden supporting him. So isn't that a isn't that a kick in the fants?
Marjorie Taylor Green The precision, the precision. I can't say the word the physician, the doctor. Let me just say, the doctor that keeps the doctor that keeps clearing him must be Republican m something.
I mean, I think at this point, okay, they probably can't take a time off.
I think that at this point. It's the funny thing it was.
It was hysterical that what got him, the question that got him is he going to run for reelection?
He froze.
But I think that he needs a month or two off because I don't think I think he needs to get healthy. If that's the case, and that's really what's going on, get healthy. It seems really silly to put yourself in a high spread stress position where things could just get like a little bit worse. But that's what's going that's what's going on with with Mitch. And on the other side, the government could be shutting down because because it's that time, and if everybody's.
Congress has to agree.
So McCarthy is sort of trying to do a tap dance where he's trying to get the budget passed and holding the carrot or the stick out saying that they won't be able to impeach Biden if the government is shut down. So I don't think he's reaching many people with that. I think he's gonna end up being unseated.
But well, if it was fl to me, we'd still be voting on him because how many times he would take fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, We'd be at like five hundred right now because I wouldn't. I wouldn't have slipped. I would have just killed out because I already knew he was gonna be a wuss. Secondly, they only want to do that for Biden because of Trump and all his indictments and all his charges. That is just an overplay for the underplay. But meanwhile, Mitch mcconnells should not be
run for re election. Are you being nice boy? You being kind? No?
He should not.
He has shown us publicly that he can that he's not. He's not equipped mentally to handle this. He keeps freezing what had becomes down to something that's life altering for us or something for the country.
No, he needs to be replaced.
I think Mitch mcconnony gets his medical of his medical condition. I think he needs to be replaced. He's been there too long. He needs to be unseated, period, and that not in a Negati way. I think he should bow out gracefully. He should be replaced while he's on top as opposed to them outphere because of his mind. But they're so stern and they're so stuck in their ways that they have to do it their way that we as the consumers and we as Americans, we are the
collateral damage behind that. So that's sad to me. It really is that even with Joe Biden, they can say if they want to about Biden, but Biden is still doing a job. To me, I know, I know, I know he rickety I said it before he got in. Again, I'm gonna say Biden was my option, not my.
Choice, right, No, And I agree with that.
In the minute he camped do the job where we see him have one of these episodes, I think they do have to they should have to go through. They make them through some sort of rigorous retesting. When you have your license at a certain age, you have to be retested if you've having any type of incident. So why not, why not when you're trying one of the leaders of the country. That makes no sense. So something else.
I was reading the Chips program. So we had the big success of having the Chips program go out, which you mean pleads to all sorts of jobs. But unfortunately the US, we don't have the we don't have the laborers to build the factories, so they actually might have to bring people in from China. Can you imagine the people that were putting the chips in the.
In the first place. But because they have skilled laborers.
Guess what, Bobby, they can teach all of these migrants and immigrants that they bring that's over here. Teach them, right, Why would you have to say teach They need jobs, they need emploiment, they need housing, give them the skills, put them up and let them pay back the government. This is like a to me, this is an easy fix,
but they're making it difficult. You're right, and it's so sad by because I was just in Chicago last week and I was driving down the street and I saw outside of a police station.
It had to be at least five hundred.
Immigrants just out said homeless. And it was very warm in Chicago, very warm, ninety five, ninety eight, and they's one hundred and one. They're out there in heats and tents and with all their little bags that belongings because they're looking for a better life in America. Okay, if we are the land of opportunity and these people need the opportunity to teach them and skills, because these people are hungry, they want to work, they want to do better,
so they will do the job. Us lazy Americans don't want to do it. We feel like we feel like we're too good for them.
Oh As, our kids don't even they want to do. They don't want to do any jobs. They don't want to I mean, they're desperate. In the stores. You talk about this all the time, joking about the self checkout. It's not because these stories want to do a self checkout. It's that they can't get a laborer to come in to check out. The kids, the young kids that used to fill these positions.
Don't want it. They're too good. Friends.
You're onto something when you say use some of these migrants It's like my grandfather came over in the late twenties and he was a skilled labor because he didn't have the education for anything else, but.
He wanted to work.
You want an honest work, So why not let them fill the positions that nobody else wants that we as consumers are desperate and you know we need that work.
Well, these younger teenagers, these young Americans have self entitled TikTok and all of these platforms you know, have let them make instant gratification. They make money so quick and substantial amounts of money. Some six figures are more. You know, some of them make in a month what some of us have worked for for years to get to acquire. So is quick, but it comes quick, and it goes quick.
And it goes quick, that's right.
Yeah, because you haven't worked for it, you haven't put in any bloods.
We're going forward.
Oh, there's no paying dues anymore. I feel.
I remember when I was younger and you'd hear older people talking and they'd say, these kids today, Oh my god, I'm their flame. And I'm like, these kids nobody wants to come out of school and realize that first job or two you're not going to make a fortune, but you're going to make your bones. You're going to get your experience. You're going to be able to take that experience and sort of move on. So yeah, I don't see it. I mean we've gotta Yeah, maybe I have
to do TikTok. Maybe I have to do an only fans or something. I feel like a big I'll have to get like a beached whale that tub or something and swash around on it.
I can't. I can't, Bobby, I can't watch it. Let me tell you something. What's so?
But let me tell you the funny part about that, Bobby. Here's everybody has a fetish. There's a lot of there's a lot of people that are into plus size women. Honey, you probably be surprised by you may make a fortune. Yeah, but you know you're not doing nothing like that. But I'm not having a Bobby, I'm not having it.
Well, you know, I wouldn't have the nerve to do it. I don't even I go into the tub and I have like nits on my hands because I don't even want to touch my skin. Never mind, we'll have somebody else watch me do it. Let me ask you. So this is our next is sort of the weather. It is our next section. What what did Hillary do to you? Did you come in come through that unscathed? Because I spoken to you since Hillary?
Okay, excellent?
And what happened was the news sensational last Hillary's so bad, like she was just gonna come here and destroy southern California. And we were in the eye of the storm, a long beach, which is where I did, was in the chay went all around.
We got twelve drops of rain. Good God, I didn't even get with.
But you were lucky. Sometimes I think they try to prepare you.
I do think that the media sensationalizes, but I do think they try to prepare you for if it actually comes through. It's sort of like when you go to the doctor and they say, oh, this isn't looking good, and then you get the good news and you're like, yay. But I think I think that Idelia was the same for Florida. I think certain areas, like they call it the Big Bend Panhandle area got absolutely creamed. And then Tampa, I think, was supposed to take the bulk of it.
And we have a mutual friend in Tampa, and he did fine. You know he didn't. He wasn't killed with the rain or any damage either. They had a place called Cedar Key, not part of the Keys, I was told, and it looked like, honest to God, flame these houses were floating in the ocean. You know, the ocean had come up. So that poor area has done it has done very poorly with it. Now, DeSantis, I will say I watched him, I watched him speak. He actually looked
like he was doing what you'd want to do. He was making promises of help on the back end.
He was poised.
He was very governor looking, governor asked, looking, not like the vitriol and this spewing he's done over the past few months, with all of the nonsense systems that he's been putting in place.
So I was a little impressed with that. I liked that.
What I didn't like was that he didn't meet with President Biden. He had a lot to say when President Biden didn't go immediately to Hawaii.
And the reason he.
Didn't go to Hawaii's because there's one road out in Maui and one road in and if all of their resources were there and protecting President Biden, they wouldn't have been looking for those bodies, right, so it made sense for him to wait to go.
Uh.
President Biden handled it beautifully, he said, Oh, he wasn't disappointed. He's probably doing important work. That's that's that's more important to the people of his of his state.
So well, that shows that goes that goes to show you that two people can be looking at the exact same thing with very different ass because the only thing I saw about the Santa speaking was the booing.
Oh that was.
For sure when he went to the Jacksonville say what an imbecile because he's got no he's got no gun control. He's got an open carry state, right, he's got it's completely open. So no, I for sure saw that. They're saying it looks like it's going to be They're going to have to wait another week or so. But it looks like twenty billion in damage flame and in uh Florida, which is really sad and another sad place. Let's not forget about Florida, Amali, No, this is in Florida. They're
saying twenty billion Florida and Maui. They still have people that are not that unidentified. I think they have three hundred and fifty still unidentified, and I think one p fifteen was the last death that they found, actually a body that I had seen, really tough stuff. I've been watching them on the shows. Hawaii is still desperate. The governor,
you know, asking people to donate. I saw the Rock and Oprah actually started something you'd have to go onto one of their pages so that you could donate directly. So if you donated today, it actually physically will get into your hands flame if you were a Hawaii resident. If that's the route that you want to go. We're
still looking looking for answers about who's actually responsible. The last we heard it was the poor infrastructure of the electric company, them not going to steal beams, and they knew about it back in twenty eighteen.
So I think FEMA has and out.
I think it's up to ten million already to the citizens. But people are trying to go in take advantage lowball people because they're desperate for money on their property. So no boino on that.
Yeah, that's saying by me. It really is.
It's just that we're living in such tragic times and the racism has just become unbearable. When Governor de Santis was speaking about the tragedy about the racist the hate crime in Jacksonville, Florida. That guy let all the white people go and shut the three black people, and it's just ridiculous. But we've spoken about this before. If racism is the learned behavior, the only way to fix it is is going to have to be unlearned. Now what that entails, What that entails? I have no idea.
Well, those are for smarter minds than us. But re education.
Everybody is able to be re educated and re talk or when you know better, you do better. When they're showed the right way, if they still make a decison, we have evil in that world. But if you you know, you choose to do the right thing, then I don't know. I think people can learn, especially young people who aren't stuck in their ways.
I think they can. I certainly think they can unlearn.
Did you hear that the Ramaswami decided he was going to bust a move down in the Iowa State Fair and started singing lose yourself by eminem too in karaoke?
Is it is it? Is it the vic Risks is Swami?
Or is it President Barack Obama? Because when he was when he was at the debate. All I heard was Obama's words between him and the old First Lady Milanya Trump, y'all have stole everything from the First Lady and the President Obama.
Well, when you have greatness, you know, of course they want to steal it. But who represents Eminem sent a cease and desist notice. He's not allowed to play anymore his music at any of his events. I thought that was a stitch, to be quite honest with you, I said, go Eminem, and I'm sure he's not paying for it or any of that stuff. Uh so too funny. I didn't see anything. I don't know if we spoke last since they had the the the GOP.
Debate debate.
I didn't think anything of it, you know, I didn't. It was the same what I sort of expected. But Vec kind of took over and ran with it. But he's sort of showed that. I thought that he didn't have a lot of experience. Christy was anti Trump, which we already knew he would be. I didn't see anything new out of that, did you.
No, Absolutely not?
Uh yeah, I saw I saw a few I saw a few wastes of space. Tim Scott was a waste of space. Uhs Wami was he should have just been Donald Trump's toilet paper.
I know he just k yeah, he wants his votes. That's what it is.
If somehow, with all of these indictments, you know, the four different cases that he that he's at, he's out on book bail in four different places, if somehow something doesn't work out for him, the only thing is I think if your overplayed for the underplay statement. The only thing I can think of is he's looking for those votes. He's hoping that he will attract those people and they'll jump on his bandwagon instead of.
You. You know, another one of the candidates.
I think he's a good speaker with no message. I think he speaks clear addiction, but there's a message there. His whole message is whatever Trump is doing. Whatever Trump is doing, he has no message. I don't care how rich he is. I think he's a handsome man, even though that's not a requirement. And I like that he's young. But because he does not know who he is, he's missing formed. So I don't care how young you are, how rich you are, how attractive you are.
What I want to know is what are you going to do?
For the American people, because that serving an office, in a public office is what you're supposed to do. He's supposed to serve the American people. He's not equipped, he is not ready. And I'll tell him to a safe dude, you ain't ready. I wouldn't see it that night, right.
Yeah, I don't know. Maybe in twenty years. Fine.
I wouldn't mind to see him there, But I'd like to see see him do some other service. Go into Congress, go into the Senate, run for governor. I think you need he needs some He definitely needs foreign He's got no foreign experience. Like cut off the Ukraine. You can't cut the Ukraine off. It's a proxy war for China. You know that's being funded by Russia. We can't cut them off. It's for our safety. And he just sounded he sounded I don't want to say ignorant, just uninformed.
Okay, i'll say it. I'll say it. He sounded ignorant.
And thank you, and thank you Nikki Haley with your funny looking ask for calling him out.
Thank you Nikki Hay for putting them on blast.
But I don't want her either, Yeah, I don't either, But she has done service.
She's more she's i'd say, out of that group.
This is just my opinion. And I know we had all of the bridge debacle and whatnot. I like Chris Christy the best because he can put his hand across the aisle when when you had Sandy and they and he had all the other troubles that he had, and President Obama reached his hand across and helped him out immediately. He gave him a big old hug, and honest to God, that was like the end of his career that they took because he thanked him.
He was grateful, he was appreciative.
You know.
He wasn't like the blustery DeSantis who doesn't even want to meet with the press when he comes down, and just be grateful and show him where the areas are of concern and whatnot. I think that's more presidential behavior. I mean, it's a persona, it's the president is supposed to be the best of us. I do think you've got to be decent looking. I think that's just a coincidence. We haven't had any like complete dogs. Nixon was a
little strange looking but fun to talk about. But no, I don't get any think presidential off the rest of them, I really don't.
Well, none of them are ready.
They just got the money and they got the wherewithals to say that they are able to run, and they got the book whatever whatever the requirements was, and some of them only got the bare minimum requirements to even have a seat at the table. But again I agree with you, Bible, they are not qualified.
They are not ready to reign and hold disposition. And haven't we and haven't we do that?
We are in the aftermath of having an inexperienced person and the role of president right now?
So why would we even relive that again? Why would we go back through that?
No, we need better. I mean Pence, Pence was as faithful as you could be to Trump. But look what a god and he's on his way out. It reminds me of the look at the Wagner guy, the Russian I'm going to kill. His name is a a progosion. He's going to get the progotion treatment. He was faithful initially to the president to putin and now look what that got them. He dared to speak against him, and then the next thing, he's in a plane and he's and he's blown up. So I wonder how that happened.
Well, I don't think we have it.
I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that something was something was a little muddy in.
The waters over there, right right, right right.
Getting to get away from all the politics, I want to talk about all these strikes that's happening right now by particulate, because we are still in the writer's strike.
Yep, summer strikes, that's what they're calling us.
The actors are feeling strike, and now the United Autoworkers are talking about walking because they want Biden to say something that he wants. And they, you know, they really are trying to discredit President Biden right now to make him look bad, to try to make Trump look better. Do you know how bad you're going to have to make any human look to make Trump look good? Trump has ninety one federal charges after sitting in the presidential office for four years. This is all the corruption that
he that we know of. Now we ain't even talk about that they found yet. I don't I don't know what this country wants. I'm telling you it looks like we were warding bad behavior. But how bad does a person have to look in order to make this man look good. This man will not look good. He has done some wretched things allegedly according to the laws that he's invited on.
Yeah, no, he absolutely is, and he certainly wasn't a big President Biden has been a supporter of all the unions. He sees what the need is for them. I think I think if they're unhappy with him, it's because President Biden, you know, is big for clean energy and trying to think of another way we have to get either. I don't know if it's electric cars is the way, but we've got to get off the fossil fuels.
And they're probably not pleased. They're not pleased with that. We did avoid a big, a big strike with UPS. UPS actually did really well.
The workers came up with a seven dollars an hour increase, additional holidays off, and no forced ot if you have days off. The writers strike, I saw and have listened to half of something called Strike Force five where all of the late night guys Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Step and Colbert are all doing the podcast.
And I think that the studios but it'd be very careful because we learned with COVID people learn to pivot and they're going to get their entertainment another way, right, which is the streaming. So you know, they've got to be more reasonable. I know that they can't give maybe a fortune because the streaming they're getting us, but they certainly can give the workers who are making their shows that are selling for them.
They can certainly give them a little something else.
So I'm hoping that, oh, I'm hoping that we don't have the United Autoworkers don't strike.
I got my fingers and toes crossed.
Yeah, and you said something very pretty. You open up another door for me. You stay entertainment. I don't want this day to go past without me seeing Happy birthday Beyonce. Hey, today is the Queen Bees birthdays. She made forty three years old. Beyonce is telling it she is on the on the platform to become the highest ranking female tour artist to tour ever.
That's how much money her tour is making.
Everybody is going.
I mean, every time you see there's someone on Live an entertainer going to watch her getting there, there'd be dazzled outfits ready, and everybody says it's absolutely you know, I haven't heard one complaint. Everybody has just said it is one hell of a show.
She's got about thirty people, it looks like behind her.
Unless there's some sort of AI going on, She's got it is a show and a half. I wish I could afford the tickets, it's too much out of.
My price range.
But I want to try to go to Sharon.
I wanted to try to take my daughter today, but the people have been camped out since early this morning because the day it's her birthday, so they really want to be there tonight. I'm sure all the big weeks and all the celebrities and everybody will be there tonight, so that's pretty wonderful.
I think it's wonderful too.
But you.
The mortgage rates, they're up to an all time high of seven point two three, first time in like twenty five years. They said, home of affordability has not been this poor since nineteen eighty four.
Which is sort of sad.
Oh wow, Well, you know, back when my mother bought a house, a house would be the price of like one year's wages or six months wages, and you could buy it with maybe two weeks.
Wages down and the young kids.
I get nervous because I don't there are millions of dollars and it's a dump, you know, like it's just absolutely crazy buying house unless you're buying it with cash. Right now, Yeah, it seems it's it's a little little disheartening. I hope things where they've kept the recession. It's all because they're trying to avoid a recession. But I hope they'll take another look and maybe decrease things because it's going to be hard for people to refinance and and all that.
That jazz. Uh you know what we haven't heard heard of.
I remember you mentioning this a couple of law and learns ago where that US Private Travis King was in North Korea and he kind of disappeared in North Korea since we've last spoke. Came out with the statement staying that he thought that that he was being mistreated and had inhumane maltreatment and racial discrimination in the army, and he willingly went across the line for North Korea. But I haven't heard or found anything else out about that. His family must have be absolutely sick, sick.
Oh yeah, oh yeah, the I remember that.
Yeah, he's again.
That's it's sort of it's sort of disappointing that we haven't that we haven't seen anything else about that, because there has to be no movement about get him back to his family either.
I'm looking to see if we have anything anything else.
Very sad because there's no like it's it's like if you're wiped off the face of the earth. It's probably like cutting rocks or something. The poor guy doing hard labor. Nothing really new with a Liz Okay, since we've last spoken, she's counter sewing, but that's about the only thing that I've seen on that. I don't think either one of
them have got any further. The only thing that was interesting is for the three dancers, they did sign on to do more more shows, even after complaining, So that kind of makes you.
Go want That's why we never really embarked on that story. Remember we said we were waiting for that story to unfold because it just sounded so sketchy to me. And I know people can't be just grunto and they'll they'll start rumors or what have you. So we don't know because we needed to hear both sides of the story, and that's a very out of the point, Bobbie. If you if somebody burned you and you came back to that, did you want to be burned a game?
Were you asking for it?
No?
No?
And I think sometimes people we don't know her, neither one of us know her. She could be hard to work for.
She might be a perfectionist, she might be God knows, you know, and none of us are perfect.
So you speak, speak for yourself.
I know, I know you're you're the bes knees. What can I say?
Tucker Cole said, I saw that interview. I watched like thirty minutes of it. I don't know if I already mentioned that. And it was nothing, absolutely nothing that you wouldn't expect.
Trump was Trump.
Nothing's as fault, He's being persecuted, blah blah blah. The one thing I did see that I was very disappointed. And I don't know Tucker calls because it's on a channel that I just don't happen to watch, is I felt like he was pushing for violence, Like he was talking about the insurrection and how maybe we made see they made some progress there, and does he think there'll be a civil war? And I just I had a
very bad taste. The little that I saw him in my mouth, I didn't think there was any need for it. I was proud to say I didn't think that Trump jumped on it. You know, usually he would go hom onto that like a hobo on a hot dog, that negative rhetoric.
And I didn't actually see him do that. So maybe he's listening to somebody. Somebody's in his ear.
I think all those indictments and those Georgia's threatening him in his ear, especially with Georgia, because he may not take no place else seriously, But I think these Georgia chargers are the ones because they're state charges, these are the ones that are shaking them up.
Well, I think I don't know, like if he didn't continue to run, and he's going to he's gonna run right up to the end.
But I wonder what the motivation is. Does he really want to run for president?
Or is he running for president because it's his legal bills are being paid for.
He's running for president because he can become president and he can pardon himself. You don't want to go to prison. This is all about Trump. This is not about the American people. This is not about the not at all. This is absolutely about Donald John Trump looking out for Donald John Trump period.
Yeah, but I just think, oh my god, I wouldn't want the pressure of you have all these legal cases and you have to try to run a campaign. Now, running the campaign is probably far more fun than trying to prep for.
Four cases. You know that they're coming up. The one in.
Believe, I don't know if it's short jot, I might mistate it. There's one in March that's going to go ahead, or I don't know if it's John Smith or Jack Smith. So I'm actually there. He lost his bed Trump to push the all of the cases out until after the election.
Yeah, and his case is what March fourth, the day after Super Two's or something like that.
Right, Yeah, that's all.
That's all a big, you know scandal too, but I don't think it actually is.
That's all I have.
Do you have?
Do you have anything else that you want to discuss?
This is what I have, Bobby Clifford, I have that This Friday, I will be in Cleveland, Ohio, I mean Cleve, Yeah, Cleveland, Ohio with the Goat himself, mister Dave Chappelle. I'm not sure who's on the show. The only thing, the only thing that I know about the show Friday is that it's at an arena. It is a Dave Chappelle production, and Flame Munroe is on the show. So if you want to get a piece of the Goat and the Goat Tests, you better get your ticket.
And come see it. And I'm.
It really hasn't hit me to be like overwhelmed, but I'm super excited. I'm very glad that day brought me in. I think that's gonna be great, and I do not want to disappoint my friend. I really want to get there and clown and show out and I'm planning on it if it's anything like my show was last night at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club Cleveland.

I have a great podcast working with my co hosts Bobby Clifford and our producer Aaron Howard. We got some big things popping and big things coming. Listen, ladies and gentlemen, Americans. I don't care what you look like. I don't care what size you are, I don't care how you identify, I don't care what
nationality you are. What you need to understand is that we are all Americans and a civil war will cause way more rugords to this country than you all understand. Y'all think it's about black and white, absolutely not, absolutely not. It is about power and structure. And the only people that will lose wo be the American people. We will become unnecessary deaths and collateral damage for what to say, Oh, we're the greatest race.
Meanwhile, while we are being.
Victims of each other, we will be victims of other people who don't like us, and they'll blow us up.
You really need to find out who you are and what is important to you in your life. And it's damn show not race. It is damn show not race. It is not.
No, that's the filler. That's the sad thing that we've talked about. We're talking about all of this and plain language bullshit, when the real stuff, the real topics, aren't being discussed. How we're putting food on the table, the safety of our kids in schools, et cetera, et cetera. So now, people vote locally, vote what you want, and pay attention.
People, pay attention, yes, and please stop trying to vote your past or your future, vote your present, because we need it now. We don't need it tomorrow. We need it. It's like The commercial says, it's my money.
And I need it now. It's your vote. We need it now. This is Slay.
