It's been a it's been a calm week. Not in the world but from in my

person personally. Well that's good. And plus you're really preparing to go to Caroline, so I don't even hitting the comedy clubs kind of hot. Excuse me this week, And I've audio taped myself Sturday, Lauren, when I went and I was doing my new, uh follow up joke and I set it up wrong, and I heard it in the car on the way home. Now they got the joke thirty seconds after, so it was like a Chinese movie.

It was because I set it up wrong, So it was like one of those Chinese movies from the seventy were ahead of delayed and the words come later and they laughed thirty seconds. But preparing for that for the New York trip, going to hear that, and I played it back and I was like, oh, but you set that up wrong. So that's so now I know, so that that's good that you record your performances. I didn't know that. I don't want to watch myself. I need to hear what the hell I'm saying. Yeah, so I can, okay,

but don't say that that was rude, that was ignorant. Well, I think that's a good seguey to plug Caroline's real quick. So yes, so Caroline's on Broadway. The ticket sales are doing okay, they could do a lot better, and I know a lot of y'all gonna be last minute. What you have to realize is that Sherry Shepherd is an A list actress. She just got a new show, The Sherry Shepherd Show. Who is Sherry Shepherd is hosting and

featuring for me on Saturday, on Friday and Saturday. So coming to see me is one thing, but then you get added bonus that you get the one and only Sherry Shepherd. We appreciate you guys getting the ticket sales, So go to the website Caroline's on Broadway, and if you want to purchase tickets for Thursday the seventeenth, Friday the eighteenth, or Saturday the nineteenth, we would look forward to seeing you once you're Friday to Saturday to Sunday.

So please download the audio component because that is how we get paid, and that is how Kendall gets his check. And Kendall is part of Asian. He will fight me, you know

how they do. Are you part of Kendall's girlfriends? Just Asia, I'm just working. You know. Once you're in an Asian, then you're part of Like when you're in black, you part black. So if I was in white, I've been in all nationalities. Let me just say I've been in all that. Now you take that and put it where you want. I've been in all nationalities. WHOA Okay, Caroline's on Broadway seventeen through the nineteen, get your tickets. Please understand that I am excited and nervous and anxious and

ready and we're gonna have a good time. Uh. If you have sensitive ears. You might want to go to the last stream because laugh a bitch is gonna be ignorant for you. Well, I gotta tell you. I was in New York. I actually saw the venue. So I've never been to Caroline's. You've never been there? Did you go inside? I've been there. I haven't been inside since nineties seven? Seriously, Yeah, And I've never headline. I did a seven minute set when I was auditioning for a

death comedy jam. So this will be like a home coming, like a brand new for me. Very I'm a Vergin. Well oh to say that that in theory. So I'm glad you're home. Yes, Lauren, we know you. My baby Lauren went to New York her mom's birthday, Miss Marshall was birthday was Friday. Happy birthday, Miss Marsha. And how was that for you? How was your dad? It was

actually a good trip, you know. Um, we kind of like went to different places that we went to before with my mom, So it was more of a nostalgic thing for my dad, which you know, it was happy but like sad at the same time. Um, we walked a lot, which was great because you know who, Yeah, I needed to walk so um, but yeah, it was nice. So it was a good trip. We stayed, you know, on Broadway, so we were like right in the middle of Times Square. I took the train everywhere, so it

was good. I did some shopping, you know, so it was good. Well, I'm glad you're back. Okay, let's get into what my glasses. That glass was like, what are you looking for? Because you know these are just dick coole. I can't see a damn thing. Where do you want to start today? We can start with something I really don't want to talk about, but we have to, which will be the State of the Union address that happened this past Tuesday. Okay, so you gotta take that because

I didn't really watch it. I'm gonna be honest. I was preparing to go out of town. Let me be honest about the situation too. I didn't watch the whole thing. I went in and out because he was not giving me what I needed. Uh. He did address the whole Ukraine Russian uh thing that's happened in the war over there and all of that h put the kindom put

it don't fit. But I just didn't hear what I needed to hear and as an American, and I'm gonna tell you all again, yes I'm black, but I am an American and I need you to cover it us before you covered somebody else. So that's just my take on it. I wasn't that crazy about it. I was. Let me tell you what was the funniest ship though, the facial expressions on the Vice president, on Kamala Harris. So that's why I love black people. Baby to a

couple of times she looked like a dog. You know, you're talking to your dog, and they trying to understand whether here you said to get the turn to here, side to side and they was the internet and ship let me just internet though, miss nothing. Oh, it was great. I thought it was perfect. Nancy smiled and my baby Nancy. I know Nancy was excited. But I did see something that there was something that happened in his speech where

it was like bipartisan. I think it was surrounding the police and the Republicans stood up to and clapp for him or something like that. No, no, no, there was a Republican that shouted out and some of this something disrespectful and they but that was one person that we let's go back to when President Barack Obama was a president and several of you guys suit up and hold out and was ignorant and called them lives and Okay, so then yes, I didn't want you. So I don't

know what I thought. There was like some type of bipartisan moment that people were excited about. Okay, Um, yeah, I didn't watch the whole thing. It was all right, it was. My main concern with Joe Biden at this point is just that I feel like he's not factoring how important millennials are when it comes to voting at this point, because a lot of his rhetoric is in opposition to how we feel. For instance, I'm saying that people need to return to work, and gas prices in

Los Angeles some places or nine dollars. Oh I saw that long. Thank you for the lectric car because you just got a hybrid this thing. I'm just happy with it. I could just plug it up into my lifebell a ship. But the gas prices is low. Yeah that that just didn't take me away. Yeah's I just need him to you know, there's a lot of um old thinking I feel like in the Democratic Party at this point, and um I don't know. It's not going well for Joe.

It's really not I need him to figure it out. Okay, see, let's see how we we got right on that stubdey, now we're getting right off. We're going somewhere. Let's go to this subject that might be a little near and dear to my heart. So I saw an article this weekend, Lord that the Ukrainian government is making trans women stay back to fight because they identifying them as biologically male. So they're making them stay back and fight with the country,

to fight for their country. And a lot of people are in the hooplaha and the uproar and woo woo. This is this is one of the privileges that we have of being trans people in America because legally you can have your I d say female, even if you're not the most convincing looking female. These are the these are the pluses that we have over here and that

they might not have over there. I don't know the whole down of the Ukrainian government when it comes to that, but here's my thing, here's my take on it as far as as a transgender person. And y'all know I don't speak like everybody else. I speak like Flame Morrow speaks. We want inclusion as a trans people. We want we want to be recognized as a person, as a woman, as a whole person. You want in the Olympics the

trans people. We want to compete against women for sports, boxing, racing, tennis, whatever. Women in the Ukraine are staying back to fight. So if women are standing back to fight, I just think that you don't get the chance to be selective and pick when you want to be a woman and when you don't want to be a woman. If the women are standing back and fighting, we should be standing by them as allies, fighting with them for our country. That is my take on y'all. Let go, cause you know,

lo one will come another way. No, actually I agree with you on that one. I do. I mean I because I saw the article that you sent me. But I agree with you. There are women that are staying back and fighting. Now, I think it's a unfortunate that men are being forced to stay and a lot of them aren't you know, military trained. They don't have any type of you know, combat training underneath their belt. So I think it's unfortunate, and of course ultimately we're blaming

putin for that piece. But um, I I agree with you. I do. I mean it's an inclusion. I mean you can pick when choose when you want to be a woman. If you identify as a woman and they say no, you can't go because your I d says M. I mean, now I think it would be different circumstances. Lord is like like a single parent like me, My kids don't have another option. I'm the only source. I'm their only parents.

So maybe, but I would my ignorance. I would have fought everybody in my house, get going to anybody, would have been shooting. But it just I I'm glad you agree with me on that because you know I'm gonna get pushed back from it. Well not I Well, of course, it's it's a trans topic. Um, but yeah, I think that the argument is going to be made though, that even the trans in Ukraine should have a choice whether

or not they want to stay or not. I feel like that's what the narrative has become eighteen to sixty. If you're eighteen between eighteen and six, that you have to stay in fine for your country. You know what I didn't realize is that the president of the Ukraine was a comedian here used to be a comedian. He used to do stand up. I didn't know that I could be the president. Oh my god, what you'll vote

for me? I'm custing them out. That's like when they said Michelle Obama should run for president in Barrock said no, her mouth is too reckless. But honestly, I would say on this topic, if anybody should be upset, I would say, point your anger towards Putin because listen, even there's a lot of Russians, like soldiers that I've seen reports where they said that they were led astray, this was all based on a lie, this whole war, and that what's

happening is not accurate. And there's a lot of protests in Russia, to the point where Putin's threatening if you protest against the war in Ukraine, you can be jailed up to fifteen years in prison. Yeah, I know they arrested like seven thousand, and it was six thousand people. That was last week. I had no idea what the number is now, So you know, it's it's bad, and I think overall, I mean, the reports say that he's losing.

I you know, I'm not um, you know very I'm not gonna say I'm not I'm not an expert on this topic, is what I'll say. So I don't know if he's losing or not, but the reports are saying that he is losing this war, and that's why he's going to some of these extreme measures UM to try and say face at this point, because you know, if Russia, especially the middle class, if they turn against him, it's it's going to be bad. So Putin was worked. They

said Putin is worth over two hundred billion dollars. See, I think that might be accurate. It's not like when Trump tried to inflate his assets. I think that might actually be accurate. What does that look like? So, well, he's got you know, accounts in all of these different countries and they're freezing his assets. So you know, and I've seen that Netflix has stopped streaming services in Russia. Um, Disney stopped streaming services in Russia. There's a lot of

people that are pulling out. Switzerland got involved in this, and Switzerland is neutral. That's because NATO. If they get close to that, get to that where that NATO country is, then America has to get involved because we are part of NATO and world War three will come, and they got the nukes. Well, Russia already has nukes. That's why I said they got the nukes. Yeah, and he's threatening nuclear forces. Nuclear nuclear nu nuclear weapons are not good

for anyone. Well, yes, but they also talked about cyber attacks. I don't need to mess with my internet. I got things to do. You can have my internet, just leave, stay with my account please. That's cyber attacks. That's why I keep my cash up under my matches. I had my ship in room closet up under the flower and the shield. You in the lotion bottle, old school, y'all know nothing about that. Let me stop telling my secrets.

Somebody can bring my house and steal my lotion. So yeah, So I mean overall the senseless war that's happening in Russia. You know, it's very upsetting. Um. I saw today that you know, more bombings happened. Um. I know people some people don't like Shaun King, but um he is up to date on his journalism reporting, and so I always look at his page for different things that are going on,

especially around this Um. He shared some images of families actually like the aftermath of them being bombed, and it's very yeah, and I've loved that you brought up what you brought up about the reporters in journalism, because this weekend rolland Martin had to check the hell out of um Dan what's his name? What's his name, y'all? He had the receipts roland Mark. He tried to say that Rolling Mind put out a tweet to say that all

the police should be fired. And woo, baby. When I tell you that rolland Mind put out the receipts, rolland Mind is not one to play with. He boxed that. Gah damn. And I can't think of his name, Dan dan Abrams, I think is his name. That's his name, Dan Abrams, making Banks. He Dan Abrams was interviewing rolland Martin and he told rolland Martin, when you put this tweet out to say that all police should be fighting. They broke up the tweet. They didn't make it completely

like it was. And he was saying all bad police should be fighting. But baby, when I tell you that rolland Martin went straight old school from the West Side of Chicago, don't play with me, because I'm gonna check you in front of your mama. You really like rolland Martin. I like the fact that Rolling Mornin is going to stand on his principle. I don't like cow with me in period. I don't care what color you are. I don't like scary man. I've said this many times before.

I don't like scary men. I don't care what the color you are. But Baby, when I tell you that rolland Martin, baby was a mathematician this weekend because he multiplied, divided, added, and subtracted. That as something for me, you know, I like all that messy. Oh, I mean I didn't see that. So so he was saying about police for what Ukrainer in America. He was talking about the police here because

after all these unnecessary killings of black people. So what Roland Martin put a whole tweet out saying that the bad police should be fired and remove the what But when Dan dan Abram brought the tweet back, you know how, they'll click bait and make it what they wanted to be. And Baby, that damn Rolling Martin had the receist and said, I was responded and here, oh he played it. Oh, I see what you're saying. Okay, he tried to clickbait. What rolland Martin says yes and slow down accurately okay,

and got them good. Remind me never to get into reading. You know who I'd like to see go at it rolland Martin and ky Oh, that would be a good one. I just have my popcorn. I came afford popcorn, the movie Popular Movies, thirty box ship everything, Hi, guess everything? Hi good Jesus. Okay, So we want you guys to weigh in on that in the second. But we're gonna go to this next topic because this one I want to talk about this one and this when y'all get ready,

duck so. Laverne Cox, author, author, actress, um activist, trans woman was interviewing on the SAG Awards last weekend and she was interviewing Will and Jada Smith and uh and I'm sure she had the earpiece in her ear, but she took she she asked the question that many found inappropriate, which was, Okay, well, I'll see you at your next movie and I guess I'll see you j D at

the next entanglement. Baby. Social media went crazy. I think the part that bothered me the most was that when she said she was not going to apologize unless the Smith asked her personally. So here goes back to where I'm gonna have to put it. That split it down the middle. We asked for inclusion as trans women. Laverne Cox has been very open and active about old trans

women of color being murdered. Trans this your transphobic, you TRANSI your trans. That if you made a mistake on that level, then you should have the jazz or you should just say I made a mistake and it won't happen again. But to say that, you wouldn't apologize unless they ask you presently, because they had, Jada had a wonderful clap back to say, You'll catch me in my next entangle, and I'll catch you at your next SRS surgery. Sir. It would have been it would but you see what

I'm saying. It would have been all in the media that Jada is transphobic and she hates gazing. Laverne was wrong and in order to give it, you have to get it. In order to get it, you have to give it. It was disrespectful. Look, Vivica Fox personally came out and said that it was tacking, and I thought that and then y'all know me and um funky Dyneva are not we we got a relationship that it ain't

the greatest. But I watched the Funky Dyniva's a take on that, and Funky Dyniva made a very valid point to say that she probably had the earpiece in her ear and one of the producers told her to say that. But the choice is yours on what you say, because they won't go after that producer. They're going to go after you. I would have seen it. I'm not saying that ship. I'm sorry, Scott just put it and it smells so bad. I must still have COVID because, oh, I'm sorry. I had to fix my face because I

was wonder the way you were so quiet. It was okay anyway, I agree a hundred percent. I think what Laverne said was it was not appropriate to say the least and now. And I'll say this too, because you've even said this as well. Sometimes you know, when you're on stage, you know it's the heat of the moment, you got adrenaline. Maybe I can't see the producers of

East mentioning, oh, you should say entanglement. I that seems a little far fetched to me, but I think, yeah, I'm not saying it's not a possibility, but I think she was a hundred percent wrong. And then to say, oh, I'll only apologize if they want me to, It's like, come on, sis really like it wasn't appropriate. You know, you're basically talking about Jada stepping out on her husband, been on in front of his like in front of him and it was his night. They were celebrating him. Like,

it just was not appropriate. And I get maybe you were trying to be funny in the moment or it might have just slipped out because you had just watched that episode of Red Table Talk with Will on it. Sure it could have been a myriad of things, but that just was not the appropriate thing to say. And then to say I'm not apologizing. This is a love letter to them, and it's like what that that That was?

That was my issue right there. That was my because as soon as somebody says something about her transition of wo woo, everybody's in the uproar, or they're transphobic, they haten. It's not hate, it is you accept me because we accept you. You know, the mere fact that they stopped to interview with you, because a lot of people probably wouldn't even done that simply because you are trans Yeah, and honestly, you on a big platform. Now you replaced uh,

what's what's her name, Julian um Ransick. I think that's her last name. That's what you replaced to do these awards shows, and you're on a mad your network, You're gonna put yourself in a position to just like with Vivica, Fox said, people you know may not want to interview with you because they're afraid that you're going to you know. And I don't think that. She said, I don't think so either. I think it was I don't think and

she didn't know what else to say. But my problem was not even that you didn't apologize, not apologize, and you said, this is an apology. It's a love letter to them. But like and we keep asking for inclusion, we keep asking for them to see us and recognize us. I said on the Breakfast Club the very first time, and I'm gonna say it again, they will not see us until we see us, see your mistake, see your hiccup, and fix it so it will make it easier for the next bit. Because I'm trying to get I don't

want the red carpet bitch. I want the mic. I don't want the red carpet. I want to host the show, and I don't need one girl to suck it up for all the rest of the girls, because sometimes that's how society stereotype exactly. So here's my thing, baby, fix it because guess what I'm I'm in like a train with no brakes, and I'm damn sure gonna say the wrong thing, but I'm gonna make it cute. I would have been like, Okay, Will and Smith, next time you'll

have a party, invite me. I want to be the girl in the middle, something coy and silly like that, but not bringing up the entanglement that was you I want. I would have flirted more with Jaden Jada, you can cut your half. I'm having to set it off moment, baby, because you know that was my thing when she could have helped at the end of the moment, Oh my god, I'm looking I'm having I'm withnes but no. But yeah, I just think that if she had just apologized and said,

you know, I wasn't. I didn't have any you know, any malice involved when I said it. It was the heat of the moment. I wasn't trying to be offensive offensive to you guys. I love Will and Jada. It was a great night. You know, he won for King Richard. Wish them the best. We could have just moved on exactly.

But you know, now, basically it's gonna snowball because eventually I feel like she's going to have to apologize, because I feel like Will and Jada aren't going to necessarily be like, oh, you need to owe me, you want me an apology. They're not going to do that. No, but other people in big, bigger places have seen that.

And let me tell you something. Whatever you might think about Jada, Will is black Hollywood royalty for very long time, understand that Will is like open well, he pulled a whole movie out of production in Atlanta because they weren't paying you know, the staff property. I got one better than that. If you don't think Will got the power And asked that first first on Viv Okay asked that first on VIV. Jenn Hubert asked that first on VIV. Jennie Hubert, that's it, yeah, yeah, Jane Hubert asked her.

She'll let you know, for many many years could not get no work. Well, she said that he damaged her career. Lavine, she was black. If you don't think that he got the power? What's her name? The first on vill the dark skin one? Yeah, And he said he was wrong all these years later but still damage said she was label that she was hard to work with and nobody wanted to work with her. She said that, And I don't want you rocking the boat before I get there, because I want to that. That is my dream is

to host the major awards shows. And you know, I don't think them to think one person is going to carry the way for all of us. We are, like y'all love the holler what we're not milmned that people. Yep, I'm not mon of it. And I ain't gonna up and make that mistake. I'm gonna say some Maignan ship, but it won't be that well. I'll just say I hope that she does end up making it right, because listen, Laverne, it is gorgeous, you know what I mean? She loves

She is a great red carpet look. I gotta give her that. She's always dressed to the nine. Wait a minute, I wasn't that crazy about that dress on the segaard Let me just say that it gave me very bitty white, old lady, golden girl's tea. I liked it. I liked it. I mean, I think Laverne is a great dresser. She can dress to the nines, and I think she's she is a trail buzzers for the trans Yeah. Yeah, so major.

But yeah, that you are you know, so that you are a major actress, Show that you are a whole woman and a whole person and apologize because I'm telling you that will speak volumes for who you are as a trans woman and the respect that you will receive as a woman. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Yeah, So I hope she makes it right, you know what I mean. I hope she does because I don't want her to, you know, lose that job and people not want to interview her. Y'all can call me. I'm available. I want

to sit around riddles. I'm saying, hey, round, hey, look at his wife. Hey Blake, Hey Blake. I love him and his wife. They are great together, They're funny. I just want to know when he becomes a free guy. Can I play in this dead pool? Okay, where are we going next? Oh? I got it? I got it. I got it, okay. No because of the movie names. Okay, because if my defense Free Guy just came out right. Freak is a great movie. I haven't seen it, okay, it just came out when he becomes a free guy.

I want to play in this dead poop. There was the movie titles that he was in. So y'all, y'all take that to run it the wrong way. I said it it the wrong way though. Where we're going on, we're gonna bring some flamemate and said, let's bring somebody in to talk about all. We want your opinion on what you think and why. Jane, we can always start with definitely, because I know you got what it takes. She was first. I got it already, She said, Oh, I like the way this happens is so differently from

when it normally happens. When you pull me on. It just did a little circle and pull me right in. It didn't I didn't have to accept or anything. I need one of the invitation. That's why I need somebody put me a little circle and pull me right in. I'm just saying, oh, we okay, come on a little hung Yeah, you a pleasant move. Jan What you think about the top because we and I definitely wanted we should have talked about this first before we brought you on,

Britney Reiner, because there's another thing, Brindy Griner. I'm sorry because the trend that I've seen some gay publications say where are the allies for the gay community that's to speak up for her. She was not detained at all because of her sexual identity. She was detained because of her stupidity. You should have heard those hold on, hold on. You should have heard those damn u cartriges better than that. Don't you watch the show I've almost got away with it.

Everybody who goes to foreign countries with drugs, damn there, gets caught, especially when you when you're an American. I'm not, and I don't mean stupidity. I understand we need our medication, we need our stuff. But don't don't make this a gay issue when it's not against you. That's my point. Don't make this an LGBT issue because it's not an LGBT issue. She was detained because they found those vapes in her suitcases. Um, I'm I'm not sold on the

story about her. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. My what I'll say, is this is I find it very odd that one this happened a month ago and we're just hearing about it. Now. That's one thing. This is also Russia. We're in the middle of a war with Ukraine, and Putin is known for taking high profile Americans as captors and using them as trade or as leverage with the

United States. And three, she was known she normally goes to Russia and the off season when she's not playing American basketball, she was known she went to Russia regularly. So now all of a sudden this year she gets caught for hashes, oils and her suitcase. Some may write, I'm sorry. I still don't think that has nothing to do with being LGBT. I hear you say, that's her community.

I would expect them to rally around her under the speculative circumstances, according to what they're saying, I'm just saying I would expect her allies to come to her aid and support her, considering she is a member of the community and active in her community. I would expect that because the circumstances around her arrest, I don't believe it. I'm so sorry. And it took a month for this story to come out about why they arrested her. Nobody knew why she was arrested three weeks ago. Now all

of a sudden, we know why. I'm I'm sorry. It's very some Russian prisons make In may stand up for three hours, That's what I'm saying. I just I'm very speculative, and they've I've already seen reports saying that, you know, Putin's plans on using her as bargaining chips to get some Russians out of America. So I'm sorry, I don't believe the circumstances around her arresting. Okay, we're gonna get to that. Well, come on, Jan's we want your way

and take because you know, being lawyer's gonna going in. Well. Um Biden's. Biden's speech I thought was very tasteful. Uh. It didn't do everything that was customized for me, but he did reach across the owl on some topics, and it was nice to see him being received. It was nice to see, not that I care anything about miss McConnell, but him stand up and applaud him because what did

he applaud him about? See, that's what I thought I saw. Um, Well, he did make mention that the police department does not need to be defunded, they need to be funded with better training. Okay, So that was the bipartisan moment where that he had some Republicans applauding him, right right, and he also um on on a military issue too, I believe, um, and the Supreme Court Justice's retiring um. Um, he showed him much love, so he hit he didn't, you know, go into hot topics. Um. But I thought it was

a grand moment. Uh. Nancy, who my love too. She wouldn't stop talking to Kamala, So that might have been like you seeing her, Kamala trying to figure out what she was saying because Nancy was saying stuff to her. But nevertheless, I thought it was good. Um, I think. Um. I don't know what the next topic was, but I will say that Dr Rashid Ricky has been bringing to light how the media is not showing how black students

are being pushed back in Ukraine. Yeah, yes, and so and and he has had good footage on uh RAW footage about the black students being pushed back, which I think is really good because that's what I have to understand. There's no understanding for it. I need to know that you've corrected that. How dare you tell time to be racist? So and it's really happening, you know what I mean? Um, I'm not really you know what, um, women in other countries have been standing side by side fighting with men

and and including the terrorists. So if that's what they gotta do, I mean, they're bringing prisoners out of you know, jailous well to fight in the people are fighting for their country. They're not standing up screaming. But I don't wanna gun. I don't want to mask so uh to see that. You know, I don't believe you crane can stand can stand the heat of Russia if they really really moved in on them. I think that Putent is just painfully toying with them to make them suffer. I

don't think they have the mane war nor. I mean I saw where h Japan just sent them arms. Um. But it's it makes me sad that they don't belong to NATE, NATO. But I want to see their leaders speak up about these black students, because these are students that chose to study because based on finances more you know, it kept making it more, you know, less of a strain on their families, and they're studying in engineering, medicine

and on and on, and you're just leaving them. And when, um, if you pull up doctor of Rashad Richie, you'll see where these people are really sharing with you what's happening. So it has been quite enlightening. But still I'm not being I'm not understanding why media, the white media, are trying to be so politically correct. There's purposely saying well, the people who are leaving or the people are you know where, Uh, they're used to dealing with them, and uh,

they're Christians and on and on. You know, it's just a bunch of b s. It's insulting b s is what the hell it is. And so um and and as soon as Biden finished speaking of the ambassador to Ukraine got on TV and was like, he didn't do he didn't promise enough, he didn't do enough. Well, you know what, it's a melting pot here. You're not doing enough to let doing enough to let me know why

you're treating black and brown Indians too like poop. Well it's interesting because I have to say I haven't even seen mainstream media cover the amount of racism that's happening in Ukraine. I have no it hasn't been mainstreams. Everyone has been right media. See That's what I'm saying, Like I have to go on like Twitter or I have to go on Instagram, you know, to get some of these stories from journalists to hear what's happening on the ground,

because mainstream media doesn't want to report on it. They're focusing on the fact of oh my gosh, you know, people are being bombed and people are dying, and yes, while that's still tragic, you really have to take a moment to look and say, y'all in the midst of a war, and y'all still want to y'all have time. You guys are literally taking any time out to be racist in the middle of a war. And it's not even just the African students. It's like African immigrants. You know.

I saw a video of a young black girl being pushed off a train by an officer so that way a young white Ukrainian girl could get on the train. And it's it's crazy and it's outrageous to look at and see, but nobody's covering it because they're like, oh, this is gonna be bad for Ukraine. Yeah, let's let's be honest. They want the donations, you know, um Miley Coomas who is Ukrainian and you know, yes, yes, Miller, you know they're there. They want to give high fires everybody,

not everybody. But there's so many people at peace to feeling like, oh, it's a big, you know, moment for us to shine. But if people are still being treated like shit, it you're still not coming across. How can you be in the middle of a war and this man is threatening to use nuclear nuclear weaponry and you still have time to be racist. So, you know, me and Louren disagreed on this last week. I see America has made the rest of the world think that black

and brown people are inferior to everybody else. Yes, well, not to say that's not true and that America is not a big part of that, but I was saying, just because you know, I went to historically black college. If we look at African diaspora, racism didn't necessarily start with America. Really started when the Portuguese came over with Africa. But anyway, you know what I mean. But we definitely

perpetuated that for sure. But and that's why they think that we are inferior everywhere when we are not, so we are discredited. Even the Constitution got us as compromise. Yeah, so, I mean overall, it's just it's very tragic. Like I'm saying, the fact that anybody has to leave their house, lose their belongings or memories, their homes, you know, their place of solitude is absolutely tragic. But I'm sorry, I'm just like, damn, y'all really got time to be racist in the middle

of a war. I can't believe it. It's just so hard for me to pall it. I'm just like, what you know, And the footage has been really by the students, really like hands on, like you can hear them now narrate. You see the Ukrainian police pointing the gun, pushing the black girl off the bus and letting. So, I mean, it's there. So why are we why are we not

getting this full story? Well? And well that and I just think it's interesting too, you know the fact that people are also really rallying around Ukrainians at this time too. I saw a story yesterday that you know, some Ukrainians are fleeing to Berlin and as soon as they get off the train. There's like at least five people there that have signs in different languages Ukrainian, Russian so they can read it and saying, hey, I have a room. You can come to my house and stay in a room.

So I love the camaraderie of people really coming together to support I really just wish that we didn't have this. It makes me and you know what, it makes me even angry or that I can't feel organically what I would normally feel, because yeah, I can't even you know what I mean, I can't even show my organic self

because you're you're being racist. You're crane, you know. Yeah, and again one person so that you're you're showing this racism, and I hear you, Jane, I want to be like, oh my god, I feel so sorry for those people. I do, but just like one person can mess it up. So you're saying, now we don't think all Ukrainians are racist, and they're not all racist. Well it's not. It's but let's clarify. It's not the Ukrainian citizens. It's the government officials.

It's the police. It's them. It's the police, you know what I mean. It's not the Ukrainians, uh, you know, citizens. And I think that was a moment for me too, because when I first heard about this, I was like, man, forget Ukraine, like whatever. And then I kept reading and I was like, Okay, well it's not the citizens, it's

literally the police. And you know, so I just and and and that's the reason from the ambassador to the president, because they first put out a statement that they were live and people were just generating these lies, uh, to keep people from supporting Ukraine. If you took time to put together that fake statement, it's almost like my sister and I'll segue to it, Laverne, if you took time to make a statement, then why didn't you make a correct a statement apologize and said that we have corrected.

There will be no more of that everybody. Yeah, you know, and Laverne apologize as as the Ukraine president should apologize and said I've corrected it. I apologize, it will be no more that. Please keep pouring your health in. I don't know what made them feel like that, they could you know, or what however you want to do. Laverne, if you take um, you take that kind of time and you and I'm sure her publicists put together that statement and you turn around and deliver that. But you

don't have the decency to apologize. You said, if they want an apology, that they'll contact you. You're talking about Black Brayalty. They're going, you're getting ready to get the Monique treatment. You will be dealt with. You don't want I thought it, but I didn't want to say it. You know what I mean? You you know, what we talked about at the kitchen table is not always appropriate in mixed companies, right, it's very true, you know, So

don't embarrass me in front the company. The company, right, you know. So it's like, um, you know that I can't see now for Brittany, I just think anybody who and I do know she goes to Russia a lot. It's it's hard for me to feel sorry for anybody because what draws you to this devil's then? What do you mean? Drugs? No? No, I'm saying in terms of her, right, I know she did she marry the young lady from Russia.

I thought, I'm not really sure. Okay, then she's not rushing because some media was saying that she was over there, you know, and she was dating a Russian I don't see the sense in running from this country to Russia. Um. In the heart of winner, I could see running to police. I could see running to peace and quiet in the mountains or whatever. Um. But she's I mean, she's um. She's enhancing her craft. Like you know, she went to Russia to play basketball, so she's basically still working in

the off season. That's why she went to Russia. So their program is very rigorous, you know, it's keeping her. She's honing her craft, is what she's really doing. That's why she was going to Russia. And again that's you know, bad, bad media because when I first read the story, UM, no one knew that she This happened a month ago. So now all of us are having to play catch up and get a lot of misinformation because nobody wanted us to know. That's give us the Black Victimization Act. Look,

when I was murdered, we didn't hear about that. But different, But there's a difference. So and I'm and I'm saying this because we knew about him and arebury because of social media, because there was a video that went viral. That's why we knew about that. In this in this situation with Brinney Griner. I find it odd that we didn't hear about this for a month, and people can say she's not high profile whatever. She's a w n b A star. She's one of the stars. She is

high profile. So I find it strange that you date that you detain somebody is whose high profile for the w n b A, and we find out about it a month later. That makes me think that something else could have happened. She might have been detained under false charges. They was holding her because of what's going on between Russia United States right now. I think Putin is probably gonna use her as leverage. I think that's what it's about. And I don't know if I necessarily believe the charges.

How are you going back and forth between Russia for years and all of a sudden a war rupts and you just get detained and we don't hear about it for a month. Yeah, you know what is because in the United States it's legal to travel with weed. Now. I know she had hash, but hash a technically a derivative of marijuana for to be honest, So I'm just saying it's legal to travel in certain states, you know, with we l a new York. I even think Atlanta is legal now, so I don't know what the laws

are in Russia. But I'm sorry, this story is just not sitting right with me. You know what scary about this story to me because I watched that show if I almost get away with it. You see how they treat people in those foreign prisons, it's you know, you you now you have to wonder, And I didn't. I wasn't even aware only that she had been in four months? What kind of conditions you know she and how are they freezing her? Are they not feeding her? Are they

abusing her? Are they water boarding her? You just don't know. I mean, look at the um. I don't wanna mistake his religion, but look at the Middle Eastern journalism that was murdered Kagi. He was murdered because he was writing stories that were against what. Yeah, there was Putin's biggest you know enemy. They ended up detaining him and he had to go on a hunger strike because he was, you know, being messed with in prison. He lost like thirty pounds in a matter of two weeks. You know.

And and it's just certain places for me, but I don't have a skill said that you know, because if she's not gonna play overseas, the market here is small for a professional athlete, female athlete. Okay, um, but to me in my mind said, um, no thank you to North Korea, no thank you to Russia. And see, um

Trump has set this up. You know, they really needed him to get back in because he was gonna pull us from Nate Nate, so you know, so it's like, you know it, it's gonna be if you think about a blood on his hands forever, you know what I mean. It isn't care now, he doesn't care. But but it's like, when't they show footage of of Russia and how happy they were that we actually, uh that Donald Trump had actually won. I'm like, what do they have vested that's

making them this dog going happy? DG gen. I don't believe nothing that comes out of Russia because all narratives are controlled. I don't because we're showing here all of the outrage and the protests. I was just watching MSNBC this morning and they were saying all of the opposition, they're not even showing that in mainstream media and Russia, they're showing the support for the war and how this is imperative they need to be doing this. They're not

showing any of the protests that are upted. I'm just saying, if you get arrested in Russia right now for protesting the Ukrainian war, you're going to just you know what, um so to me a devil's den. If I'm saying that as a black female, then you gotta know, En, we asked you for a second. If I was there, go back, we we lost you for a second. Okay.

That my My reasoning for that of college at a devil's name is because I already know that a black woman would be treated extremely bad there, you know what I mean? So I just any dictators or what I'm not I'm just not interested in because if you're treating your own people like pooh, you're gonna treat me even worse, you know what I'm the point. Yeah, that's a valid point, I think. And again, like I said, I don't know

the full circumstances of the situation. I'm very skeptical, but it may be in her mind because she had been going to Russia in the off season when she wasn't say, she may have felt safe for like I do this all the time. It's not a big deal, you know what kind of thing. But I feel you I'm never gonna just take a leisure trip to North Korea. But I don't know if circumstances are different, if it's from my job to you know, hold my craft, maybe you know,

help me make some more money. I don't know, because you know, the basketball league in Russia is actually pretty big, right, So when you explain that component of me, I know, her choices are her earning power not right here. So I get that, and I'm certainly not putting anybody down for their income streams. But you know, like Dennis Rottman was running back and forth to North Korea. I was like, well, catch you up on a bad day, Dennis, you know,

catch him moment. And they left him in North Korea too. I love that man than the whole damn country. And they were sitting there just staring at him. That's the same thing we do over here. We just sit and stare at it. I just I'm just let y'all know how it is, you know, so you know, this whole mess again, and it's just making me feel all the more pitiful. And I saw I saw a comment with somebody said with Lindsey Graham said that, um that Putin

should be assassinated. Lindsey Graham, Putin got way too much use in power. You up. One of the Rent boys gonna be a killer. Let me say that one more time. One of them Rent boys gonna be a killer. He'll he'll put he'll put feet on the ground in the US. So lindsay cut it out. And somebody said, yes, we voted for Biden. Yes, I did vote for Joseph Biden.

It was the only option that I had. And to be clear, if rolls around, if the ticket says Joe Biden and a random Republican like a Rhonda Santist, I'm a vote for Joe Biden. Again, let's be clear. Let's be clear. And we're so past the election, so what who voted and who didn't vote? He won, rightfully, soa right. So now we're doing what we did with Trump at the time. We have to work with what we got. Period. Hello, Hello, it's so good to see you. Thank you. We can't

see there there there she is. He's got that good hair today. I do like that you backy hair on. I do like yes, yes, let me just let me just say really quickly. Maybe not so quickly because I've been told many times that I'm long winded online that. Um. So I've never been to Ukraine, but I have been to Estonia, okay, decades ago when I was young and cute and you just want me to say you cute? Now, I was like Jesse, it was it T is always

my great straight man, so um. And it was interesting because the whole racism thing with all of those Baltic states and all, and this was when the war was just coming down in Germany. Um, it was like I compare it to um Canada. It's there, it's prevalent, but no one talks about it. And it's primarily with African immigrants.

Because I've I've been watching either CNN or sometimes them, the network news that has there they're streaming, they will have those stories about the Africans who are being pushed off of those trains and not allowed to exit the Ukraine. If you've ever been there, it's wonderful. They treat you great, especially if you're someone like a Dennis Rodman or a

singer or a celebrity. But let you be someone who is in school, or let you be someone who is Um doing work that menial work that other people in that country don't want to do. It's the same way that in general in this country, we think of South Americans, and by we, I was gonna say, by we, I mean America in general, not we the I'm talking about. I'm talking about melanin melanin deficient people. You mean the white people. Yes, I'm trying to not get in jail

like the rest of y'all. I've never been in jail. I'm not a part of that group. But it's I'm not going to speak on it, but it's it's it's not it's it's don't be fooled. It's Eastern Europe. But it's still Europe. Oh yeah, for sure, they're still Europe, Still Europe. I mean when we were in Spain, same group,

different trips. Um. There was a very dark skinned black man who was traveling with us who got pulled off a train in northern Italy because they thought he was African, questioned him, asked to see his passport, all of these things just because he was dark enough to be construed

as African. Well, I'm gona jump in here, Jesse too, because I mean, what you're saying is absolutely accurate, you know, because I I work with a diverse group of people, everybody from A to Z. But there's definitely um racism within um melanated Ray says, I will if that makes sense, Like you know, uh, Latinos that are from Europe are not you know, Latinos that are from you know, South America or Mexico or even from Cuba. Like they make the distinction like oh, no I'm not Venezuela, or no

I'm not a Spaniard. They will make that distinction because those type of ethnicities are kind of core, are related to racism in some way, shape or form, and they like to do that. So I I totally hear you and agree with you. You know that it's still alive and well amongst the melanated races, as you would say or what you just said. So it's real. Yeah yeah, But you know, when I got a more because I guess when you're young, you really don't know any better.

And so what I went to Yourpe for a month and just took a moped from one end to the next. You know. Um, what I saw more commonly is they have a very love opinion of black females like global. Yeah, but I mean where they were propositioning me and we clearly had a language barrier on trying to get me to go to hotels, and I'm like, you you don't even I'm not being nasty, but I was nastier at that time. I'm like you're I'm like, you're you're driving a cap You're not one of the people that I

would be intro laying next to. And how dare you when my presentation is this? But when I saw them also turn against their football players, which are soccer players to us at to some real close game and the young African missed the golden and they were relentless. I mean they threw stuff at him. They called him monkeys in the eye blink and when wait, not stuff at him, they throw banana peels. You're not. Yeah, the rest of the team trying to stand up, and the coaches had

to speak out. I'm like, what, Jesse, what do you think about the Britney Grinder situation. Britney Grinder, what we're talking about? She was arrested in Russia? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, so I'm going to agree more with you. I think that you go to these other places. You start to realize as you deal with this little circle or this s whare of people who you deal with in your business or your in laws or whatever the case may be, and you start to forget, you start to look at similarities.

You look at Oh, these people love their people just like I love my people. Oh, these people do this the same way I do this. Oh, and you and you throw away those worries and those hares because you don't do anything else. But the fact of the matter is, when it pushed comes down to shove. How many times have we said about people who have stepped out of bounds and think that they're all that with With white folks,

don't forget who you are. Don't forget where you came from, because when it comes down to it, they're going to kick you to the curve the first minute they get. And when it comes up to government that kicking to the curb means kicking in jail. You know, I don't trust any of it. I always I went and bought my extra gas cans. I'm gonna be storming me some extras. Well,

I don't put it too close to the phone. Is I want you to k and please don't have your shirt off around it because it could just explore and I and I hear you, Jesse, and you know what, that was a great That was a good message for to go into this because somebody posted on here that Laverne Cocks already good job and she is on Stranger Ryme's new show on on is it on Netflix? But guess what, y'all better go back and look at Oprah and I Yana phone call. Sometimes all it takes is

a phone call. Just fix it. I just wanted to because Jesse said I just had to go back to that fix it Lavern just fucking fix it ship right, want me to call it? What's her number? Um? Yeah? So anyway, I would just like to say for Britney Grinder's sake, I mean, her wife came out and made a statement and said that it's it's developing. Um. Like I said, I don't trust the circumstances of what's happening

in the situation. But it makes safe, Um, it makes me sad because there's not gonna be any account ability on their behalf for any stripe we get our back. Oh no, it's there. She's gonna I foresee her being used as a bargaining chip in the US that all of the all of that stuff like it's it's and I hate to the short short version. See here we go. We almost so the millennials, they will they will tell you, oh, kumbaya, it's all about we don't talk about racism, we don't

talk about this, we don't talk about that. But you know what, those things still exist. What millennials you'll be talking to Jesse because these gen Z people are very rowdy. No I'm not. I'm en why thank you, I can, but I don't know where very gen Z is very loud, and you know they're very you know, L G, B, t Q and fluid and I should look at the kids from Parkland like that. But those are the one who I'm talking about. Because if you take all of that and you put it in a place like Russia

and you think, oh, it's gonna be fine. I'll just do it. I'm going to go backpacking across Russia. You better remember where you came from. You better remember who those people are, because when it comes down to it, if it comes to you or them, it's going to be they're gonna stick up for them, and you are going to be fertilizer for the next year's crop. And it's and it's just like you're saying you can't trust

anything that you're hearing. It's the same thing that people were talking about with um all of the stuff when when Trump was in office, like, oh you don't know if that's oh you don't know, know, this is the real thing. I there's a lot that I know or that I used to know because of my father and all of this stuff that I don't say. But look, when people talk about that they don't trust what's going on, there's a lot of stuff that goes on in the

background that that would make people's head spin. Don't play with governments. You need to get your butt back here the minute you start hearing that ship is going on. But I mean, she was detained a month ago though she so she was detained right before the war started. But they've been they've been threatening for way longer than I'm telling you. I would have been out two months ago. I hear, and I hear that, but it's like, how do you there? There was nobody was really certain that

was going to have the balls to bomb Ukraine. Like if we didn't know trust trust, we didn't know that. But you when you're there, your little into this is It's just like where I'm from. It's easy to get lulled into that. But I wouldn't. I wouldn't have been there two months ago. I would have been out. But I think I would have done the same thing. I'm I'm I'm also a little bit different. There's there's a bigger reason why I have a place outside of the

city with all of this other ship going on. There's a reason why before the prices started going up, I bought three turkeys when they were cheap, and five chickens and they're all in the freaking freezer. Uh. Jesse, first of all, you black five chickens is gonna last two weeks, not gonna, but thank you, but it was a good move. Well, thank you guys for joining. We appreciate you guys as all. Well,

thank you Jesse. Maybe you from conversations with T T J every Thursday and at six pm, and Jesse is always on with Mark or some one of the flame man's Please get yours for um Woma be Carolines on Broadway my seventeen, eighteenth, and nineteen before we leave, because we want to leave on a positive that we want to give a shout out and a big hands up and we pray and help and hope that we get our very first black female on the Supreme Court, Justice

Ms Katangi Brown Jackson nominated whole can of worm. Because I'm mad about that. Well okay, well Lord is mad about it. We're gonna talk about it next week because I'm sick of people coming for her and her credentials, considering she's got more experience, and we came hold into next week long we got faminutes. Come on, come on, I'm just saying, um, yes, I'm confirmed. That's all I'm gonna say. And I'm sick of people coming for her credentials,

like she's not qualified. She's a two times Harvard Honors graduate and she's got almost nine years of judicial experience under her belt, so she's qualified. Then four of those uh four judges that are currently sitting on the Court, that three of them were Trump appointed. Y'all better leave my good sist alone and just confirm her. That's all I gotta say. And we want to give y'all make sure that you guys support her. Just send her words of encouragement if you can and just speak positive energy

into because we'd like to see that happen. And I'm with Lauren, she is qualified. Y'all want to say we always played a black car, but y'all played a race car way more than we do because it's always down to the color of somebody's skin as opposed to like Laurence said, her qualifications.
