Lola laugh. If you watch Coffee Time the baby, you know the name Flame, my role also known as my role Flame. Come in with last and come in with Don love Lunds. Baby, you better catch it when you can't drop a knowledge from Fatherhood of Politics shouting now comics just paying homics. What's up? Tip? Yeah you know she raped shot towns On speaking to the grown a second. We're gonna last cut of the kicking and at the end we leave it, which is a lift dispirite like

you want to revisit. So your first like a listen you folks like you slip all folks that we take it. Do what you do? No, do what you do? Nois do what I do. Hello, welcome to laugh and learn. I'm your host Play my Road along with my gorgeous co host, Miss Lorn Hogan. Hi Louren Hogan. High Flame, how are you? I am feeling very honeymooners. If you're familiar with the honeymooners, he say, boom boom to the moon.

I'm feeling quite moony. This is like a closed caption that we could put in right here saying that Flame is feeling lovely. So be prepared for an interesting episode, right what interesting tonight? Oh my god, freaking interesting. I had a very interesting weekend. I was in New Orleans this weekend for the annual King and Queen pageant that I am the official host, and we had a brilliant time. Heads off to my friends Ray Sean and montrees Ford

and Adam for who owns up in aam restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was delicious, the pageant was delicious. I of course, was absolutely deliciously scrumptious, and I had an amazing time. If you guys ever get a chance to go to New Orleans, please go to two Up in that a restaurant thirty nine three Canal Street. The food and the atmosphere is exquisite, it really is. And if you have a New Orleans the seven, the tenth, I'm the host of the page and be there. I'm

the prettiest bitch in town that we can. So you know what I meant to tell you too. Next time you go to the Worlands, you gotta go to Frenchman's Market. That got like the best gumbo I've had. Or go to draw Goos for their chardboiled oysters. Those are like my two favorite spots in New Orleans. I can't eat the oysters. That nobody with me. Child. It's not the raw ones. It's the chard like the chardboyl ones. You'll be okay that the name oyses made Gussie right now

a lotokle, I'm looking for somebody. Oh my lord, you know people give me with that. Oh, I can't eat oysters. They made me do some use to know you want to do it anyway, They'll be blaming it on them oysters. They need an escapegoat, that's all. But anyway, we gotta slide into what's going on in the world. So first and foremost, we got to talk about Britney Griner. Um, she officially was able to come home. Um there was a huge swap that happened between Russia and the United States.

Um for the Merchant of Death that is his nickname, Victor boot That. I don't know if I said his last name right, But um, we didn't official swapping. You know, she's a fish like home now. So grateful for that. But how do you feel about everybody saying that they feel like the swap was actually not the best interests

of the United States. I feel like they don't know what that woman went through there, and I know that they want that other guy home, and I get that, but everybody has an opinion and this and that if we have to go to unpack that whole issue at

the root of the source. I'm sure if Brittany granted didn't feel like she needed to go over to Russia and during the off season to make money because she's being paid enough as a major athlete in her own country, that she wouldn't she wouldn't have and she just made a minor mistake. But I hate the negativity, especially coming

from a lot of our own community. And when I said that any talking about the damn LGBT coming, I'm talking about the black community talking about, Oh, she got what she deserves, and will wi she did not get what she deserved. She got far more, far worse than what she did not deserve. That was ridiculous. And y'all don't know what they put that woman through over there that because whatever she identifies as, that is still a

biological woman. We don't know what kind of situation because we had no communication with her, and I'm sure they made her say what they wanted her to say. If she said the wrong thing, they probably would have did some horrible tour, and they don't tell what kind of torch they put up through. But people don't know that, and so they just opinionated about stuff girling. I've seen some of those comments. I was raised, like you would even lasted a minute. At least somebody fought for her.

Thank you, Joe Biden to the administration for doing what you did to bring this woman home. Because what that is it wasn't American. I don't care what color she was. She's an American citizen of these United States. Hey, her like one, because she ain't going back to Russia. The more you know y'all have lost the basketball play, she ain't never going back over there. I may ever ship I see it. So yeah, no, no, no, I think

a percent agree with you. And I think the other part to this too is, you know, I saw a lot of the negative comments associated with it because they were like to give you know, this infamous arms dealer back to Russia and he was responsible for killing so many Americans. I understand that piece of it, But as an everyday person, I can say, you know, we never know the full extent to what's happening in terms of

the governmental and global affairs. We don't know. So I just feel like to have such emphatic opinions on this matter, I just don't really agree with in terms of the negativity that's coming her way. And to your point, we don't know what she went through. Um it got brought up a lot in the news to that because she was lgbt Q. She was this you know, big tall woman that it almost put another target on her back because she was a part of the community. Um, so

we don't know. You know, the last we heard she ended up in a Russian Pano colony, and I know that. Um, a woman actually came out on the news and she talked about her experience being an a peeno colony and how concerned she was for Brittany's grinder safety. So the fact that you know, she had to be in Russian for ten months was unacceptable in the first place. But I'm just glad that she's finally home and safe and sound because we don't know what she went through at all.

So yeah, and people just want to come tell you the world. Let me tell you something, Lauren. In my fifty uh huh, yeah, yeah, I don't know if I've ever seen this much uming in people. I don't know if I've ever seen this much unhappiness and just people. And I'm just talking about people I ain't got under a race, color, gendercize, none of that. I just don't know if I've ever seen this much unhappiness in people

in the world. And it really is spilling over. I am trying to fight and hold on to the last little piece of joy that guy, because baby, it's too much. You get caught up in it, and it's like it's like people. It's consuming people. The level of competition and the pushback and the blowing up over the smallest little stuff, stuff that would never concern you. Girls. Some of these things would never concern these people, and they make the

biggest deal about it. I am over the moon with joy that it was Joe Biden's watch they got her home, because if we didn't need to body else to take credit for that. And to the people that's angry about it, you don't know again, Lord, they don't know what that woman went through. None of us know her situation. And the men were talking about what they're doing to them. In Russia during the Ukrainian War, they raped the me and not not just the women they were less than me.

So whatever and whatever I brittly grand identifies asked, that's still a woman, that is still a biological woman. Yeah. I'm curious to see if she ever decides to come forward to tell her story. I think it will be important. But again, we don't know what PTSD and trauma, you know, has what effect that will have on her at this point in time. So wife was standing back. I appreciate that the wife was right there baby. The wife was only down your wife, your wife like that? Oh yeah,

that she was rather that baby. She said, you're gonna get baby home. If she would have stolen Oh, Joe, that would have been funny. Said it was a joke, was a joke. I have to light the move before we get to the next subject, because I think the next subject is so it's just another state to show about, to talk about the sadness of the world and what you just you know sometimes what is that song about? Stevie Wonder And he says, uh, the tears of a clown?

You know you what my smell? You what you swear? This this frown on your face or the smile on your face. But nobody never knows what you're really going through.

To speak about the DJ Twitch who lost his life yesterday, because he he made a video twenty four hours ago long when he was dancing with his wife and he looked so happy and so joyous, and you just really never know what what plays somebody is that or what has But it blew my man to think that what could take you from this joyous high and twenty four hours later to this super low because you don't know

what somebody is going through. Whatever you look, whatever it looks like to you on the outside, if you don't know this person, then you don't know what on the other side is going on. But people just see one thing that's judging a book bass cover that I did that on covery time this morning because people judge a book bast cover. They judged me by my cover. But my cover pretty. It's just some inside page is a

little old, but my cover is pretty though. Yeah, I um, I was honestly shocked, Like i've I remember when Twitch was first on so you think he can dance. I think that was like two thousand and eight. Um, that's when like me and all my friends were still you know, dancing seven and so we were watching the show because like some of our dancer friends were on the show competing and everything. So just to wake up to that news this morning, um, which just so heartbreaking, you know

what I mean. I didn't know him personally, but just him being in the dance world, he was just truly a light. And then you know, I watched the Ellen de Generals show here and there, you know, and he just brought you know, a sense of love and happy is and you know, just positivity to the show. So to wake up to news and he's only fourty years old, to know that he took his life is just, um,

it's really heartbreaking. And I can only imagine, you know, one half this feeling, but those three kids that he has, that being confirmed that he took his own life or would they just speculate. That's what I saw as of this morning, that he committed suicide. That's what all the news outlets are saying. There's always more to the story. UM, So I hope at some point you know that information

is accessible. I understand, you know, the rights to privacy for his family, but from what I've read today, every everything is reading that he did commit suicide and him and his wife had three babies. That that is, that is the heartbreak. How you're gonna explain it to your babies? Well, I'm just speaking from a perspective of losing a parent um and suddenly too um. That kind of grief you just you don't know how to manage it, you know

what I mean. And I'm almost thirty and he has young kids, so I can only imagine how they feel right now. And it's like in Christmas is and like what a week. It's the holidays, you know, holiday is a special time for families to come together, and it's just to have to deal with this kind of grief right before you're supposed to just be taking time to spending with your family. My heart really just goes out to them because tragic. It's tragic and just completely unexpected.

It is with it is with it is with fear, I said, But it is with the truth that I say. This is why you need that one friend, that one friend that you argue with, that you bicker with, that gets on your fucking very last nerve. But you know this is the one that knows you better than anybody else, that you trust their opinion and whether whether you become a major a list, celebrity or you get down to the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. This bring and is going to give it to you and the

truth if you can have to that truth. A lot of people push away from that. Lord, you get to have that one person to tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it. And I know you almost study Lord, but I know you know what I'm talking about because your your mom. I've raised you around older people. Baby, it ain't about the twenty friends. Is about that one that you know this you don't even want to hear it from them because you know

you're gonna hear the truth. They make you take accountability for the ship that you do. A lot of people push that away. They scared of that truth. Yeah, and I don't. And I just feel like we're living in

a an unprecedented time, you know what I mean. Um, I don't really know anybody that's lived through a pandemic before or has lived through you know, well, I take back the racism component of it, but just I feel like the way that the world is right now is just to your point, It's a lot of violence, it's a lot of sorrow, it's a lot of anger, um and just lack of being fulfilled in a lot of ways.

It seems like people are just it's lashing out against one another or committing suicide or just I just don't know. It's just it's really like weird times that we're living in. You know, It's kind of like for me personally, it's kind of I do kind of feel like I'm there's weird energy always around me in a way, um, And I don't know what that's from. So I know, if I'm feeling it, I'm sure other people feel you know,

feel that too. But yes, that is the story is I think it's showing the regular, the regular man who thinks that they're regular. That the same thing that celebrities go through. We regular people go through as well. We go through as well. You know, he looking the ind he looked happy, he got a family, he was on TV, he worked with LN he made money. Wo But you never know on the other side, what kind of mask

somebody is a wearing. That's why you got to treat people nicely, treat people fairly, because you don't never know. It looked good on the outside, but you never know what's on the other side. People don't take the time. What I say on Love Lounge, you got to play to be sad. A lot of y'all just played a popular song. Turn the record over sometimes and play the

b sad. You might be pleasantly surprised from asking. Yeah, I could echo that part of you saying you never know what somebody is going through, because that's that phrase alone, Like it really hits home for me, especially now for you know, the last I would say three years, but really the last year of just what I've been through. So um, Yeah, you really just never know what somebody's going through. So I think it's always important too that we need to give people grace. We really we've got

to give people race Wow. Prayers to his family, especially to his wife and children. But Jesus, Jesus, Jesus blesses. So Lauren Jgan, what else was I gonna tell you besides that I looked so fabulous this weekend, me in my in my mint green hair. They thought it was great. It was actually mint green. Well, I mean, I know we kind of started off on a bit of a lull, but there was something positive that's happened within the last

week and a half. Um President Biden officially assigned the Respect for Marriage Act, which was protecting those that same sex marriage or interracial marriage. Great. I mean, I commend Joe Biden for that because I know Joe Biden has had a lot of pressure. I put you up against him. But Joe Biden, you got old. And let me tell you what getting old dude, when you get old, you

don't give a fuck. I know Joe Biden says that all the time, like I'll give a damn suck them the whole different attitude, like I don't give it, don't matter what color you are. Maybe I don't give a fuck. Yeah, I think that UM protecting this was great, and I'm glad that they did it before we get the new you know House in session, because lord knows what's not gonna get past um once the House officially gets Republican control.

But I'm glad that this bill was able to go forward, especially because I know a lot of people that are you know, of LGBTQ community. You know, they have you know, you know friends, as I have a coworker that just proposed to her um girlfriend, you know, and they're getting married. So and they're actually an in a racial couple at that too, So I think this hits home for a lot of people. So the fact that it's protected and

people can continue to love who they love freely and publicly. Um, it was you know, it was a good day forward. So I agree because I do think that people should be who they love and get married. Who you wanna get married to? I ain't never getting married, and that's the man the woman to got a sheep or you. I'm married nobody, I'm skinned. Before we started the show, who did you say he was gonna marry? You said a husband and wife because girl, you know I don't

play what so. Um, that was a good day overall. Um. In addition to that, we got to discuss, obviously and celebrate, um officially in this space that Raphael Warnock beat herschel Walker and will finally be taking his rightful place back in the Senate and his seat will be his for the next six years. Thank you, Georgia. Look see that's even a dog. Thank you you, Thank you, Georgia. We've got leaders today. Yes, came on through. We appreciate y'all. M h. Yeah, it was very it was very important, um,

And I gotta tell you during the election night. I do watch MSNBC. I gotta tell you, I love Samone Sanders commentary. It's hilarious. Um, she had a little spice to the show, which I appreciate. Um. But yeah, Georgia actually turned out still over a million people voted for herschel Walker though, which I couldn't believe. Um. But in the end, the right person for the job one you've

seen too, they're trying to. I did see a report saying that people could see Warknock eventually running for president, which I found very interesting. What do you think about the Um? I don't know. Let's see how he gets this next time, because that last time was only half a tim Let's see how he does on this time. What I'm saying he has he has six years this time, so he finally doesn't have to run for re election for another six years. His seats safe. Yeah, well I'm

a waiting to see that. Let me ask me year four year four? Okay, some of baby who is let me just say it like this all scarful game, kim fo that he improved us wrong yet? But baby, the biggert money get people, baby and the words the biggest small more money, more problems, I'm just saying ship change. I got some faith in Rothil Warnock. I think that description that you just depicted of herschel Walker or what you just depicted rather wo be accurate for herschel Walker.

But I've got some faith in and more knock Um. I think he knows this is just the first step in his political future. So I'm excited to see what he does for the people of Georgia. Erst you're walking ain't even human. His nigger got his own language. Well, I don't know if you talked to his son came out and basically talked about how his family asked him specifically not to run, and how embarrassing it would be, and how he was a plan and being used and

he just didn't listen, and it was just really embarrassing. Uh, to witness how one he was treated by his fellow white Republicans and then ultimately to watch him lose and look at, you know, speeches he was given and just how crazy he sounded. So that is probably is I don't even believe that he's embarrassed. That's what that's what's really saying. I don't think he knows. And I and we've we've said this or on another episode I've learned I he gives me that I think he has CT.

I do I think from CT. That's as well slow poke T know, um because even like I was talking to my dad, he was just telling me, like what an incredible athlete herschel Walker was back in the day, and everybody knew like automatically he was getting hit, but people would still give him the ball. So he was just always a target on the field. And to get hit the way he got hit during those times when you know there was an appropriate protective gear in the

game of football, I wouldn't be surprised. So might have been hit, but he knew what to do. He knew how to hear because he heard about nine thousand babies, didn't You might have got a couple of other things that we know what he remembered. Um. In addition to that too, we got to talk about Donald Trump really quickly, because I don't think we've discussed this yet. His as you teach you so that Barack Obiona can be the president again and again and again. Yes, he basically has

to do away with the constitution one um. But also to his former business CEO Alan Weisselberg flipped on him, as we all know, and was found guilty of tax fraud for his business. Okay, so let me ask you a question, Lauren Hogan. Okay, why not do away with the Constitution since it does not include women at all? It says he, he he everything. She is no and she is nowhere on the constitution. Well, black people are

also not included when the Constitution was written. So there's that woman's perspective, not even a black woman's respective, but from a woman's respect. So I'm not I'm not saying I'm in agreement with Donald Trump, but hear me and hear me, well, why not do away with it? It does not even include she. It doesn't even include women.

It only says he. This is the nature of how they thought that that that their thought process was, how insignificant not only nationality was, but females were, and some people still have the same man process. I'm not giving that, nigga pass. Let me just hit clear. I'm not giving it, and I'm not agreeing with him, But why not doing it with it and rewriting? Why not? So I think there's a difference between doing away with it and rewriting

it um. I'm always down for rewriting it. I don't know about doing away with it because I feel like all the crazy radical right folks that we have in the world now, that would just it would turn into a modern day guilead Um from like Handmaids Tale from If those of you are watching it made still you know I'm referring to. But I would be down for rewriting it to make it more inclusive. Sure, look and and look, including colors and females, because that's what they excluded.

Everything is he put you around back in the day good everybody was on the down a little good God Jesus. But I mean on the Trump front too. I just find it interesting that his business was convicted of tax fraud, but he not specifically. So it's just it's interesting to see how the law works when it comes to Donald Trump, because if it was anybody else, this wouldn't be happening. So that is always an interesting piece to me to see how the laws manipulated when it comes to him.

So being real gangs the way it too, ain't he got he got the right people in the right places protecting them. I just think he has dirt on other on some probably some folks in some high places, but I know his special masters failed for his case that he was trying to that the DLJ basically is bringing against him, and he's lost a lot of appeals in um different appellate courts um for sure. But I'm just

I'm waiting for something to happen. But at the same time, like I said before, you know, if Joe Biden runs for re election, I don't really know if he can beat anyone other than Donald Trump on the Republican side of things. So I'm just waiting to see a little impatiently. But I think it's time for something to happen because he've been getting away with murder for real, he told Joe Biden trying to Joe Biden is really trying to

step his game up. I'm appreciate some of the positive things that he's doing, including signing that Marriage and Quality Act. I never have no intention on as marry, no man, that's just not might get down, oh not marry, and that we might we might hook up, but we're not gonna get married. But no. But I love that he did that. It just shows maybe it'll make all people involved happier, you know, not just the gay community, but uh,

interracial marriages. You know, it will make it more acceptable because the leader of the free world has said it's okay. And that's all it is is somebody saying it's okay. I think that was That was the past I got from Tiffany, Oh it's okay. And then people started working with me because girl something. Y'all know who the hell I was. Yeah, well, I'm curious to see what else he can bring forth. Reslatively, um, like I said before, the House becomes uh, you know, dominated by the Republicans.

But yeah, I think overall, I mean, despite the some of the tragedies and some of the laws that have happened this week, overall, you know, we had a progressive last must say two weeks. Well, you know that guy who attacked Populosi went to courtet that he said when originally when he attacked Populosi, it was a random act, he didn't playing. But then they found the passport on him, So yeah, he had a plan. His plan was to hurt Nancy and get out the country hurt or killed.

I don't that doesn't make sense to me. How did you not have a plan to go attack somebody it was just sporadic, like you had to figure out where she lived rady. But then they said he had a passport. He was trying to get out of the country. The math isn't mathing for me, the hate that they spread, and it's just spread. It ain't it ain't know only even about race anyboys. It so sad. It is about class, it is about nationality, it is about uh religion. Oh

my God, Jesus, we're going backwards. I don't know what. It seems that we're going backwards, Lauren. And in the biblical term, it seems like we're going backwards. Yeah. And I know you said you want to meet h you wanted to mention the name of the man attacks Populosi. His name is David the paper, the pap. I don't know if I'm saying his last name, right, name is David. Isn't he Canadian? Um? I don't know about his background

of where he's from East Canadian. He was trying to escape back to Canada because that's where he came up from, and he was over his visa. So when they kept pushing that whole these immigrants and this and that in the third you forget to talk about this one. That's why I said, when one person came to be for the whole group of people. Now there's some good Canadians he are funked up on. But it's some good Canadians because that's terrible went out there and he didn't They

gonna wanted him to play the crazy card. He clearly acts with as Nancy more than three times. Yeah, well, he was definitely looking to hurt her. But I mean, he does face two federal charges in addition to other charges, so it's looking like he could get up to fifty years in prison for what he did. So and not include man, it needs to be a state bridge. Was any bet that when that's underground, because that's a terrorist act? Is that Isn't that considered a terrorist act? She was

a government official. I don't think that's considered an act of terrorism. It has to be against the country, not a specific person. M hmm. Yeah, I'm big attack me. I'm big enough to sund with m hm. But we do have to basically close out so here laugh and learned. We do have a saying that we are never trying to get anybody to change your mind or simply trying to get you to use your mind, because wife Laime,

because the mind is a terrible thing to waste. And before we close out the show, if you are in a place that you don't see an outlet that you you just you don't have anybody that you can trust to talk to, there are places that you can call. And what's that number long? It's prevention right, um No, So you can send an SMS text to It's suicide Prevention Lifeline, or you can dial one hundred to seven three to one to seven three a tow five five

for suicide prevention. Because sometimes you do get into a dark place, you feel like you have hit that brick wall and there is no hope. But I'm telling you you can reach out to these numbers and just let somebody listen to what you have to say and listen back to them, and they can save your life because there is another option. You just got to be willing to make that call or make that decision to make that call. And if you in that place right now,

we're praying for you. We're calling somebody and talk to somebody because I don't know the other side of so side, and I don't want you to know it either, Okay, on what was we talking about? No, I think that's a great way to close out the show. So you can follow Flame that Monroe Flame on Instagram, Marcus Flame, Moroll Parker on Facebook, Flame Monroe one to five on TikTok,
