my first week doing it alone. I'm glad you got said he had to join me. Let's have a great show. First of all, I want to start up by saying thank you guys for joining us here on that and learn thank you to my heart. We on on our way to season three, which I'm excited about. But I'm gonna start out today. Were talking about the Oscars where the Oscar nominations are out, and I'm gonna tell you something. When I went to see The Woman King, first of all, I went to see it at the movies four times.

I bragged and bragged and bragged about the director, about the acting, about all the screenwriting, and the whole storyline. They got absolutely no recognition as this year's Oscars. I think that that is a mistake, but I don't have any control of that. I'm not on the judges fanil, but I do think that David should have been nominated for Best Actors as well as Gena Prince by the Wood should have been nominated for Best Director. The movie was fantastic from beginning to end. But I don't know

how Hollywood works. I just know they ain't working me right now. But I'll still say heads off to Viola, David and Gina Prince Bidewood and um Lashawna Lynch and all the women from Women King and because it was a great movie. But to the ones that were nominated. I wanted first of all, shot up, I said congratulations

and heads off to Michelle Yao. I think I'm saying it correctly, y e O h Yo, who is the first Asian Asian American woman to ever be nominated for Best Actress in her category for any time, any place, all at once. I haven't seen the movie, but now they've got so many they got eleven nominations. It really makes me want to go and watch this movie. So hats off to that. Of course, hats off to one of my favorites, which is Kate blanche for the movie Tar. I do expect her to win. I really do expect

her to win. If you have not seen that movie. First of all, Kate Blanche shit is one of the greatest actresses ever. She is a great actress, so I'm expecting how to win. Also, I want to give a shout out to all the other nominees, Michelle Williams and the other women that was for Best Actress and the guys for Best Actor. I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be hosted this year by Jimmy Kimmel. My biggest, biggest excitement is that Angela Baskett was nominated for Best

Supporting Actress for um, Oh, What's the Movie? I had a brain fart for what Conda Forever? And um I would love to see Angela Bastard wind. I thought she should have won for Best Actress for What's Love Got to Do with It? But this is a circle come around, so hopefully we will get a chance to see Angela Bastard finally win in Oscar, because that's the one award that she does not have. She is an amazing actress who has can do and has done any and everything.

So I'm looking forward to seeing what she's gonna bring to the table. And it's gonna be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel this year. I'm sure there will be no slaps, but I would definitely be watching it to see it, even though I really don't want to watch the Oscars this year. I want to see the Fastest, but I'm kind of bummed that woman King got absolutely just ghosted all about everything, so that that's how I like. But anyway, the Oscars are coming up on March the ninth, of

March the tenth, or whatever whatever it is. Look for your local listings. We will be watching it for the fashions, and of course we will be reporting about it here on Laugh and Learn. Let's go to my President and yours, Mr Joseph R. Biden, who made a personal trip here to Los Angeles, California this week because of the horrible tragedy that we had. UH. There were eleven people were who were killed in a mass shooting at a dance studio here in uh southern California. It was it is.

I'm not gonna even try to pronounce the names because they were most. They were most. They were all of Asian descent, and some of the names are tricky and I hate to mess up people's name. It sounds so ridiculously rude, so and I didn't practice it. And I because even the spelling doesn't sound like cause Gwen in in Asian is spelled in g u y e n uh. Gwen in black folks term is g w e n girl. That's Gwen. This is laugh for learned, so y'all laugh

for me. It was a tragic and I hate that they're trying to push that off as they hate crime, because how can it be a hate crime if it's the same nationality killing the same nationality, and I don't want them to make light of that because it's so scary. And speaking of the reason, another reason I don't want them to do that is because oh and also shout out to Vice President Kabla Harris because she also came

and two of the tragic area and Movabio. So I appreciate vote both the president and the Vice President making their way here because that's important. All presidents wouldn't do that, but these made their way here to pray with the family and to just show good faith to the country that we are here to support you. And wo okay, let's get heavy. Let's get heavy, playmates, Let's get a heavy laugh. I learned. Let's get heavy. I heard um a young black man named Tyree Nichols was senselessly was

senselessly murdered uh recently in Memphis, Tennessee. By he was a black man. He was pulled over for a traffic violation. They said that he was swerving on the road. I swerve all the time because I'm looking at my cell phone or I'm looking for something in my purse. And when I say I swerve, I may go a bit over the yellow line. We don't know the severity of the situation, but there was no weapons involved because they never brought that up. But he was beaten to death,

young tuny, now you old black man. His name is Tyree Nichols, and we will continuously say his name by five unfortunately, five black police officers beat him to death. He died. He died after being in the hospital for three days. His mom came out and made a statement being crumpissed his attorney who is on it. Luckily, and fortunately the chief of police down in Memphis, Tennessee, wasted no time with firing all five of these officers. And

today they were all charged with second degree murder. More charges to come from what they're saying on CNN right now. And I appreciate that, and I don't want them to be charged with hate crime as well, because as it was black on black. My issue with the whole situation is, let me just give you all my take, and I'm gonna give it to y'all my way. So here's the thing. The black out five black officers who loyalty was not to their black skin or to their black nationality, but

was to their blue uniforms. There was shown by their white superiors that your black your blue uniform has no weight over your black skin, because y'all all got a peak slip, and now you're all about to get black letters about your black numbers upon your name because all of them going to jail. Let me reword that five black officers killed the young black man because they thought that they had loyalty today blue police uniform their badge.

They were fired immediately because had they been Asian, Latino, or any other nationality, they would have been put on administrative lead. And I'm not saying this from thinking about this. I have watched this in real time happen. The only other time that it happened this fast, and it wasn't even as fast as they was when George Floyd was murdered by Derek Schouvit, and we watched it over and over and over and over every day on the news. That was the only other time an officer was fired.

But that wasn't even as fast as swiftly as this. They forgot that they were black men. They were sensibly killed another black men, but they were reminded that they were black men in a police uniform by their white superiors giving a pink slip, and now they were giving black numbers to remind them that they are nothing more

than an inmate. And I'm I say, hats off to Memphis, Tennessee, heads off to Ben Crump, and heads off to all the prosecutors and people involved for swiftly and immediately removing them. I think when you're fired as a police officer, you lose pension, you lose back pay, you lose four one. They should lose everything, including their freedom because it was there was no weapons involved, because they have not talked about no weapons, so they can't come with that. The

man didn't challenge them. I think they said he ran, so you beat me to death because I ran from you. All fact, five black officers, and one from according to the newest news today, was able to bind himself out of jail. So one one officer is out of jail on bond, but the other four remaining custody. And I hope that all five go to custody, be get remanded, or go back to custody, get sentence guilty, or found guilty permanently, because that was ridiculous. We can never move

forward with us killing us. It is out of control and it's ridiculous. Prayers to Tyree Nichols mother and his family. Prayers to the people that's helping to fight this case, starting with Being Crumb. That Being Crumb. No, he gonna show up, baby, when it's big, Being Crumb gonna show up. I'm hoping nothing to happened to me, but I got his number on speed out because I'll be calling them.

Oh my god, that was just tragic. And the mother was on the news and she said my son died on January seven, but the doctors pulled the plug on January tenth. It was so heartbreaking to hear this lady. And now they are about to release the video, and I'm gonna say this publicly, I really don't want to see this video. I just don't want to in take what this video make do not only to my spirit,

but to so many other people's spirit. I think I have a strong constitution, but so many people are tita totting on lunacy and reality and it's scary that somebody may see this and it explodes, you know. And I'm only saying that because this whole Jeffrey Hmer thing came out on Netflix and the series and they just had a young man who wanted to understand what it was like, so he he kidnapped somebody. He dismembered them, and he was planning on eating the person because he had the

obsession after watching the Jeffrey Damas story. Sometimes people don't even realize the monster that's inside of them, and Toil somebody else show them a way to see the monster inside of them. I don't think that everything needs to be displayed. I understand back in the sixties when m Mattel was killed at his maybe Till wanted him in the fifties and maybe Till wanted his body on display. She wanted us to see the brutality of what these

people had did to him. We are right back to that point, but it's a different time and people are in a place after the pandemic was where they are exploding. They're almost like on a melting pot of confusion looking for a reason to blow up. You know, we just had a tragic six year old kid took a gun to school and teachers administrators knew about it and disregarded and he ended up shooting his teacher. At the end of the day, she didn't die, but he still shot her.

A situation that could have been avoided had somebody taken the initiative to do a little due diligence to say, hey, you got a gun, what is going on? But nobody did that. It is very scary, and I don't want it in my DNA because I don't want to dream it. I don't want a nightmare, and I don't want to get a bigger fear of being pulled over by a police officer. It used to be we're afraid to be pulled over by a police officer of a different nationality.

This right here will make us be afraid to be pulled over by a police officer of our own nationality, my p so, my personal thought on this is that even though they were black officers and they pulled over a black man, there is some level of I can get away with it that I think that some officers hold, not all, but some officers possess and I can do what I want to do, and I'm going to get away with it. Well. I love the fact that they proved that wrong and charged all of them. One secondary

re murdered. It is the world is very scary right now. So I'm asking everybody to keep your head on the swivel and be extremely cautious and very careful and try to follow all the rooms, especially while driving, because you just never know when, where, how or the hour. Because we're talking about black folks and racism. Me woo woo, I ain't gonna just attack us. Let's go to Florida because the governor of Florida, Mr. Ron DeSantis, has said that that he wanted to remove a p the ap

African American studies from high school students. He don't want us to learn about our history. M Ain't that funny? They used to didn't want us to learn how to read and write. Now they don't want us to learn why they didn't want us to learn how to read it? Right? Oh my god, it's a twist of times, and it's a scary. And I'll tell y'all what rhnd de Santis is very scary and they're talking about he running for president. He's scary than Trump. I said it out loud and publicly.

He's more scary than Trump. Speaking of Trump, Trump is back on social media. I just saw today that they gave him his Facebook page back and he is back with a vengeance. It is going to be a time and laugh and learned. Season three will be all political because politics is about to get quite interesting again, quite interesting. More, it's more interesting than Jorge Santos telling all his last and they still have not removed him from the from

the Congress floor. We blame uh McCarthy for that, and I blame McCarthy for that whole heartedly. But George Santos exportraint came out today and told every lad that he was backed up every lad, and not backed up in a good way, backed up, back him in a corner to say, why are you lying? Why are you doing this to people? More? It is you know what behooves me? Though. The most part is that we see this, Um macarth,

do you see this happening in real time? The American people see this, and you tell me it is more important for you and you guys have given him an appointment and assignment when he clearly lied and been busted time after time of the time to get this job. It is scary and I'm mortified with my community. I am part of the l g B t q I A plus community and the part the part that always come after me about the youth, my use of pronouns and my language or my diction when I'm never against

my community. George Santos is openly gay. He also did drag but he signed the bill to say, uh don't say don't say gay bill and no more drag shows because he's a part of that go op. But I don't hear the community saying anything towards this man. This man is trying to dismantle us. This man is a part of us and trying to dismantle us. And the community is quiet. They're too busy arguing about Beyonce did a show over and Do Bad for thirty five million dollars.

My question is when the last time did the l g B t q I A Plus offer Beyonce thirty five million dollars to do a concert in America. It's real quiet right now. I'm not ded all master. I'm just waiting for y'all to answer, because y'all, y'all be waiting a long time. It's so disparaging that y'all want what y'all want, and it's ridiculous. We we just came out of a whole hypocrisy of a fake page, of somebody who created a fake page, and this is the

great divide that they're doing. It has worked for centuries and thousands and millions of years. Dividing conquers, separate people, and you can control them. They've made a whole fake page saying that the Areta Franklin song You make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman was disparaging to trans women. It was derogatory to his trans woman. First of all,

it was a fake page. Second of all, if you listen to the lyrics of the song and we just got the box up real quick and put a bowl on it, she was never talking about her genitalia, but Rita was singing in the lyrics about how a man made her feel so special and made her feel like a woman. I'm so sorry that some of us walk around and our presentations is our presentation is female, but

in the bedroom it's definitely out for male. So you'll never know what it feels like to be made to feel like to be a natural woman, but you do know how to make somebody feel like the natural. That was a joke and the truth. Oh yeah, we're doing a different laugh for learning now. Lauren is going I don't have Nick. All I have is me and Aaron, and Aaron ain't wearing here. So y'all just got my mouth and my man and my thought process right now. But we're gonna make it in you see, because we

know you're radding it in your car. You listen to me, and you listen to what's happening. I do believe that George Santos should be removed. I do believe that McCarthy is going to enough pressure is gonna come on McCarthy for on both sides, you know, from the Democratic and the Republican side, and say, hey, he is embarrassing in the hell out of the country. And at this point in the late stage of the game, because he's done it for what three weeks, they've let it rad for

what three weeks? Four weeks, it's about that time that it needs to come to an end. It really does. And I'm hoping that President Biden even steps in and says something because President Biden got his own battles right now. Y'all mad at President Biden because y'all keep finding paperwork at his house. President Biddy said that that paperwork was in his seventy two or seventy three corvette that I don't think he has driven since eighty one or eighty two,

and y'all know his driving record ain't the greatest. About two months ago he fell out a bike. I'm just saying, if you think he was, if you thought he was gonna do some damage behind the bike, what the hell you think he will do behind the car. He'll be the porter of Kyla Jenner. If you don't know that, storry, google it. Malibu Cayla Jenner, right, white woman, all of that, that's all you gotta google, Malibu characterident Caitlyn Jenner, white woman.

I'm not gonna even tell you the story. You can google and Google has Google has all the facts. But Joe Biden didn't take those papers at home on I think he forgot, even had the corvette. Joe Biden forgot. Let me just say that, playing English, that y'all can understand the left and learn, and y'all get a past even white people. Y'all can say this right now. The nigga forgot. He ain't took no papers home maliciously on purpose. This figga is eighty nine thousand years old. He forgot,

that's all. Mike. They got Mike Pence on the scrutiny now for taking paperwork home. Mike Pennce ain't took no paperwork home on purpose. When the when the sitting president at the time, it's insighted an insurrection and had those people joined going to the capital and say kill Mike Pence. Mike Pence was packing it up real fast and try to get up out of it. He accidentally packed a few of those papers. He didn't mean to. He was just stuffing his bag real he was stuffing his purse

real fairs, so he accidentally took some papers. The difference is Mike Pence, as well as Joe Biden, has been very complicent and very complaint. We're turning in that prepperwork, say here, here you go Trump. Did Trump want to fight about it, had had the FBI come in and saying that this is a witch hunt in woo woo. That is the difference between innocent and guilty? Did I say that correctly? I just hope you all heard it. I hope you all listening to me, because that yummy

is moving and baby we gotta show to do. I um, I will be speaking this Sunday at U c l A. I'm gonna read a couple of chapters of the book. Didn't nobody to give a shit about What Happened to Carlotta. If you're unfamiliar with that book, that is a book that I did the audible for for Mr James Hannah Ham. Uh. It's the number two audible book for audiobook for and it's on the It's on the top ten bestseller on the New York Times. Uh. Yeah, well you know what

I'm saying. I'm saying it wrong. It's on the top ten of the New York Times Bestseller this I think it's like number eight or nine. So I'm glad we are part of that. First of all, I hated doing it, but I had I'm glad it's paying off now. Um. It is just a very crucial time that we are living in. You you have to watch and listen to the Breakfast Club because what they're doing now is they're

looking for replacements for Angela Ye. So they've had so many different people from Jason Lee to Tiffany Cross, to Angela Rye to Lalla Anthony to so many different people. My turn is coming and I want you guys to listening and just hear what you here, and we're gonna do it differently. We don't see if we can shake the table over at the breakfast club to give them so much needed ump because they need a little um. Call me up, because when I come on bringing the umph,

that's gonna be my bitter name. UM. I think that um Um, Mrs McConnell's wife UM is on the attack of of um President Trump because he keeps disrespect to her and calling her a little Asian woman who woo. You know what behooves me about some of these men who have loking Democrat whatever the case may be, is that you allow this man to disrespect your wife. I know that at that time he was the President of the United States, and I know he has a lot of juice, but he was at tacky president of the

United States. That he was uncouth, no class, nothing like President Barack Obama. Because and here's my thing, he attacked these means wives. He didn't just attack them, he talked about their wives. Ted Crews. He called his wife ugly to her face and his face, Ted Crews is now kissing his ring. He went after Mr McConnell's wife. Mr McConnell was wishy washed it, but he always kisses his ring. I don't understand the power that Trump holds over these people.

Because from what it looks like from the outside looking in as and as a staunch Democrat, is that he's losing his stronghold. He doesn't even have the juice that he has, even though he has thrown his hat in the ring to run for president again. I don't think it's going to happen. But I said that the first time, and you know, stranger things have happened and he won one. But it's a disrespect because if you I'm not married, but if I had a wife and you called my

wife unattractive, oh, we go at words. I said, my wife may be unattractive, but she free. How about you paying Milanya? Did I say that publicly? Okay? I just want to make sure I get that out. So this is these other subjects that we're going, and we're going down the road of laugh and learn. That's all me by myself. So I got to learn how to adapt to make sure I can get through all the minutes.

But this is all I want to give today.
