Special Forces killed two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces shot down two terrorists and their allies in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama region on Saturday. The pre-dawn encounter took place at the Goripora area of Awantipora in Pulwama region, police said. The names of the slain terrorists were not immediately known. There was no immediate report about any soldier or civilian getting injured in the gunfight. Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Goripora area after receiving specific information about the presence of militants there. The search operation turned into an encounter after the militants fired upon the forces, who retaliated. During the gunfight, two terrorists and one of their associates were killed by security forces.
