Security Forces encountered top Hizbul Mujahideen commander

A top Hizbul Mujahideen commander and his associate were killed by security forces in an encounter. Which broke out in the Beighpur area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. The deceased terrorist has been identified as Riyaz Naikoo from Hizbul Mujahideen. A joint operation is being carried out by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police. According to reports, a top terrorist is believed to have been trapped in the area. The gun-battle began at 9 am when the security forces launched a search operation following an intelligence input.
