Government introduced new E-Commerce Rules

The government has announced the new e-commerce rules, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. For all goods traded under a digital or electronic forum through both the marketplace and inventory-led criteria. The new criteria have been termed as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Saying online retailers to enable easy returns, address consumer complaints and avoid differentiating against dealers. On their platforms, among a slew of proposed rules for e-commerce firms under India’s new consumer protection law.
