Transcript

From potato billionaires to Eurovision in the Arctic… Season 1 of the Last Week in Denmark podcast proved that Danish news is never boring - especially when you’re an international trying to make sense of it.

I’m Fionn one of the current cohosts. In season 1, Last Week in Denmark founders Narcis and Wizzy launched this weekly podcast to decode Denmark’s headlines - from politics and reforms to quirky cultural debates - always through the lens of international life here.

They covered everything from gender pay gaps and school reforms to alcohol laws and cyber defense. And while the podcast was new, it grew out of the wider Last Week in Denmark community built through multilingual newsletters and events.

Sometimes they were serious - Sometimes cheeky, like when Wizzy joked she measured her cash needs by how many hot dogs she planned to eat that year - But always there to help YOU feel more informed, connected, and at home.

So if you’re an international in Denmark, or thinking of moving here, follow Last Week in Denmark on any podcast app or on YouTube.
