Let's talk a little bit about the Little League World Series. Now talking about one of the big stories today, this story is written like a riddle. How did Danny Jansen play for both teams in the same Major League Baseball game?
Well, he's going to make history tonight as the first player to ever play for both teams in a game. But how? Well, he was at bat when the Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays were playing earlier in the year on the June 26th and the game was suspended by a rain Now, the game between the two teams will resume today as the first half of a doubleheader. The catch is that between that game on June 26th and now, Jansen was traded to the Boston Red Sox.
When asked if Jansen would be in the lineup, Boston manager, Alex Cora said, yeah, he's catching. Let's make history. He gets it. Now there's a huge week ahead. This is a huge, huge week in sports. The US Open will hand out the highest individual prize money for all.
