Good morning. It is Monday, June 17th. We are headed through the week and we have all the great things you want to talk about this week, including Snoop Dogg, Olympic trials, all kinds of great things. So let's dive right into the hottest topics that you will be talking about this week. Quick points on the Mavericks Oilers.

If you would have told us on Friday that the NBA finals and the NHL finals wouldn't be over this weekend, you probably have a lot of people who'd be surprised because the Dallas Mavericks and the Edmonton Oilers look like they were struggling and weren't going to be able to hold off their opponents. Well, they ended up winning in blowout fashion this weekend, both teams. So the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics will play tonight in Boston basketball.

The Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers will play in Florida on Tuesday. Both the Celtics and the Panthers could still win it all at home when they play next, but those two teams showed up with a heck of a game this weekend. Moving on, Snoop Dogg is making news again. He was in Milwaukee for the first pitch at the Brewers game, but then he made it up to the Brewers TV booth and he gave everyone a good laugh as he tends to do.

He was giving commentary on the games and he said, I'm one player, he's got a rocket in his pocket and... We know what gets us excited because we will be able to watch Snoop Dogg give this amazing coverage during the Olympics here in just about a month. Moving on, Tom Brady made his debut on Fox for the UFL Championship last night. The Birmingham Stallion shut out the San Antonio Brahamas to become the first UFL champions. Now, Birmingham is back to back to back champions.

And the first ever, as I mentioned, UFL champion, they came from the USFL, which merged with the XFL, which was run by The Rock. this season. So congrats to you, Birmingham. And last, moving on to golf, Bryson DeChambeau, well, he won his second career US Open. And he had a special meeting because it was the 25th anniversary of his idol, Payne Stewart, winning at Pinehurst. It was also extra special because DeChambeau lost his father in 2022 to battling with diabetes.

And obviously yesterday was Father's Day, so it was really extra special to him. His dad did get to see him when his first one in 2020. Andy DeChambeau edged out Rory McIlroy, who's been lusting after that fifth major for the past 10 years, and he's still going. Now let's talk a little bit, two subjects a little bit deeper here. Olympic qualifying, we're talking swimming. Katie Ledecky is continuing to be this goddess of the Olympics.

She qualified for her fourth Olympics and she makes it look so easy. And so, They have this amazing trial. So Olympic trials are happening. They're happening for the next, I think, day or two. They're having Lucas Oil Stadium, which is home of the Indianapolis Colts, the NFL team. And they easily set a record for attendance at 20 ,000 people this weekend. And they did an amazing job.

They built a swimming pool inside the football stadium that has a bar below it called the dive bar that you can actually watch the swimmers. Very, very cool. Now, last but certainly not least, let's talk about soccer. Let's talk about the Euro Cup. Christian Eriksen, he scored for Denmark in their opening European Championship match against Slovenia on Sunday. And that was three years after he suffered cardiac arrest on the pitch at the last European Championship in 2021.

Really cool moment to see that come full circle. That's what you need to know for this week. Have a fantastic week ahead and we look forward to seeing you here on Wednesday for our Wednesday Wisdom Podcast. And if you need anything, lastnightsgame .com.
