Good morning, it's Monday and it's going to be an amazing week. Why? Because you have a whole plethora of great conversation starters today. Besides, college football starts this week with week zero, so make sure you tune in on Wednesday for everything you need to know about the college football season. So you're prepared to small talk about all the things. And trust me, it's a really great episode. Scott, my co -founder, my co -host is fantastic in it, so highly, highly recommend that one.

Okay. Moving on, we're going to start with golf. Now, Hideki Matsu... Now, Hideki Matsumaya had a roller coaster of a week. He went from winning the bronze medal in the Olympics, then he and his coach and his caddie were robbed in London. Hideki's had his wallet stolen, his coach and his caddy had their passports stolen. Then this weekend, the number 12 ranked player in the world went on to win the FedEx St. Jude's Championship on Sunday, which was the first of three FedEx Cup playoff events.

to close out the PGA Tours season. Congratulations to him in turning that week around. Now let's talk a little bit about Olympics and Noah Lyles, who, well, he must be recovering from his Olympic battle with COVID because this weekend he put on a masterclass on about how to stay relevant in mainstream media. He called out the NBA, pissed those people off. He basically said, amongst many things, calling the league's winner world champions was not such a thing.

And then also gave a hard time about to Adidas about giving Anthony Edwards a signature shoe before him Then he went back and forth with Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill about racing and Then he revealed that he was raised in a cult and if that wasn't enough He also used his platform to sort port his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield who is an Olympic? Jamaican Olympic track and field runner, but why are people going after her?

Well, apparently during a podcast interview he expressed to the show host how his girlfriend who is from Jamaica has been an asset to his training. More specifically, he admitted that she had given him an insider's perspective on some of the dealings amongst the Caribbean country's athletes. So, flowers may suffice for that one, maybe some chocolates, but then I have to do a little cleanup there.

Moving on to the NFL, flag football is set to be in the Olympics in 2028 and the current flag football quarterback is feeling a bit disrespected. by NFL players who think they can just show up and play on the team. USA flag football quarterback, Daryl Duchet, feels that Daryl “Housh” Doucette feels people shouldn't be so quick to write off current flag football players.

He said, I think it's disrespectful that they just automatically assume that they'll just be able to join an Olympic team because of the person that they are. Now remember, NFL players will still have to try out to make the 2028 flag football team. Speaking of football, Simone Biles showed up at the Chicago Bears preseason game to watch her husband, Jonathan Owens, but she wore a jacket with Owens picture on it.

But unfortunately, it was from his previous team, which just happens to be Chicago's bitter rival, the Green Bay Packers. But Biles was good luck as the Bears won and number one draft pick, Caleb Williams, had an impressive day. Wrapping up with some really cute stories. Major League Baseball. posted their Little League World Series game where in the morning the big leaguers go and watch the little leaguers play the little league world series.

And at night the families get to watch the big leaguers playing a game. had the Detroit Tigers taking on the New York Yankees and there were just some sweet videos that we shared on our Instagram. And of course we shared as part of our smile worthy sports, which we post every Sunday night. It helps you shake off the Sunday scaries. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok for those. As I said, stick with us this week as we talk of college football. It's going to be a big week ahead.
