Good morning, it is Monday, May 6th. Here's what we have for you for this week so you can join the conversation around the world of sports. Now, maybe not the biggest story of the weekend, but I'm gonna start us off with a laugh at Tom Brady's expense. Netflix featured the greatest roast of all time last night, roasting NFL legend Tom Brady. The guest did not hold back, making jokes over his divorce and ex -wife Gisele's new boyfriend.

Brady's former teammate Julian Edelman, well, he joked that he now refers to the quarterback as Leonardo DiCaprio's ex -girlfriend's ex -husband. Longtime Patriots coach Bill Belichick made an appearance in a pre -recorded skit and there were plenty of laughs and plenty of digs. Moving on to the Kentucky Derby, Mystic Dan won the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby Saturday in a photo finish, taking home the $3 .1 million prize.

The three -year -old horse beat Sierra Leone, in a front of a star -studded crowd, including Travis Kelcey, Martha Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, Jack Harlow, just to name a few. Wagering from all sources on the Kentucky Derby Day program set a new record with $320 .5 million. It was the first time in 28 years the Derby was won by a nose, literally, and just the 10th time ever it was that close of a finish.

Trainer Kenny McPhee had probably the best weekend possible with his horse winning the Kentucky Oaks. which is the Friday race of the three -year -old female horses and the Kentucky Derby. Moving on to the Miami Grand Prix, Camila Cabello, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes, Travis Kelsey, Odell Beckham Jr., Keke Palmer all watched Lando Norris win his first ever Grand Prix in Miami, which is the first F1 or Formula One race of the season.

Later this season, we'll see races in Austin and Las Vegas. And last but certainly not least, NBA Playoffs. If you thought the playoffs were going to be boring without LeBron, Steph Curry, or Kevin Durant, you were wrong. Timberwolves Anthony Edwards might be the answer to that question. Edwards joined Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant as the only other player in NBA history with consecutive 40 -point playoff games at age 22 or younger. That is pretty incredible.

If you want anything more that we talked about today, make sure you head over to last night's game. or check us out on social. Have a fantastic week ahead. And don't forget, Wednesday's podcast, we were talking about badass moms who are athletes. So make sure you stay tuned for that one in preparation for Sunday's Mother's Day. Have a great week ahead.
