Well, hopefully you will have some superstitions today that will carry you through the weekend with great conversation and camaraderie and connections with your family and friends as the holidays approach. Let's dive into a couple of quick points happening this weekend in the world of sports. Saturday, we have one of the most storied traditions in college football, the 125th edition of the Army-Navy game.
Matchup has occurred every year since 1930 and it's gonna happen to be a good one this year. Army is ranked number 22nd in the country and won their AAC Championship game last week. And Navy is eight and three and they've had a strong season as well. They always do great uniforms and Army is honoring their 101st Airborne Division known as the Screaming Eagles who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day.
Then the Navy, are honoring their Fighter Squadron 17, which is themed, which are, which honors the Jolly Rogers for their pirate theme to match their fighter jets. Moving on to 72 year old Bill Belichick is set to return to the sideline shockingly as the North Carolina head coach. His dad was a North Carolina assistant coach and Belichick says that his first words were beat Duke.
He gets $10 million to allocate to his assistant coaches and the university has agreed to increase their NIL spending from 4 million to It's worth noting that Belichick seems to be bringing along his 24 year old girlfriend who posted, are on to Chapel Hill as a comment, a nod, who posted, we are to a Chapel Hill.
