Episode description

Chad Osguthorpe and his family are apart of the more than 22,000 cattle and sheep producers who hold public lands grazing permits. Public land ranchers, like Osguthorpe, maintain 250 million acres of U.S. public land. Osguthorpes raise sheep in Utah. The Osguthorpe family grazes sheep in on the resort in Park City, UT. That is where the Public Lands Council is set to hold it's 50th Annual Meeting at the end of September. On today's podcast, Chad discusses the importance of ranching on public lands, why young agriculturists must get involved in advocacy, a few tips on what you can do in Park City and much more! https://farmingandfightingmd.wordpress.com/ https://www.facebook.com/J12ranchandlivestockLLC/ Music by audionautix.com
