Episode description

LLN (10/25/19) – The DRIVE-Safe Act is gaining sponsors. The pending legislation would put inexperienced drivers under the age of 21 behind the wheel in interstate commerce. OOIDA is against this. We’ll explain why, and how you can help stop the bills from becoming law. Every year drivers have a series of permits that must be renewed, including IFTA. We’ll have advice on what you need to know to renew your license. Canadian truckers surveyed feel much the same as their U.S. counterparts but the OOIDA Foundation found there are some interesting differences. And we’ve got the facts on switching over from your AOBRD before year’s end to stay compliant.
