LLN (7/9/19) A bi-partisan effort has been re-launched in the Senate to require all new heavy trucks to be equipped with speed limiters. Safety groups support the speed limiter legislation.OOIDA does not, and in fact, believes the legislation will make roads less safe. Four states want to accommodate platooning and are changing laws to make that happen. Plus Oregon’s cap and trade bill appears to be dead.
