Also, Missouri lawmakers are considering a fuel tax increase for roads, but OOIDA is concerned about efforts to lay a larger share of the burden on truckers. And for some time, truckers have played a lead role in the fight against human trafficking. The U.S. DOT also is listing that as a priority, and recently gathered to discuss the topic.
