Also, OOIDA has formally requested that FMCSA act to ensure brokers follow the law on sharing information with truckers. A move is underway toward remote compliance reviews, while OOIDA opposes an hours of service exemption request. And some New York lawmakers want to increase fines for illegal truck parking in New York City, while a proposed increase in weight enforcement is planned on an urban expressway.
