LLN (3/17/20) – Rest areas are being shut down by two states, just as the nation is turning to truckers to keep urgently needed supplies moving, depriving drivers of a place to rest. Also, tickets and violations can work differently depending on where you are, and some local procedures can lead to big problems if they’re not handled directly. And several states are cracking down on ticket quotas, speed traps and other ways local governments use violations to fill their coffers.
