Hazmat and the Eisenhower Tunnel

LLN (4/6/21) – Colorado’s Eisenhower Tunnel is one of America’s great engineering marvels. At least, it is for those who can use it. Hazmat haulers are stuck using a treacherous mountain pass instead. Now, a new study takes us one step closer to those trucks using the tunnel. Greg Fulton of the Colorado Motor Carriers Association explains. Also, last week the president unveiled his new infrastructure plan. But that road – like most roads these days – hasn’t been as smooth as expected. We’ll discuss what bumps have come up along the way.
