Car haulers still screwed by reg change

LLN (5/17/21) – For several years, a seemingly small change in wording from a federal agency has resulted in some truckers – specifically, car haulers – getting cited for being over length, even though the law didn’t say they were. And OOIDA has been pushing to fix the situation. Also, properly maintaining those brakes is not only vital for safety and operation. It’s something that will keep you out of trouble with inspectors and law enforcement, among others.
