Episode description

In this episode, we are joined by Brad Ortenzi, the Eastern USA Regional Director of ZOE International. Brad also coordinates the Berks and Lancaster County Human Trafficking Task Forces. ZOE International is a global non-profit dedicated to eradicating human trafficking through its three pillars: Prevention, Rescue, and Restoration. With operations spanning Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Australia, and the US (specifically in Los Angeles and Southeast Pennsylvania), ZOE collaborates with law enforcement to support trafficked women and vulnerable children, offering advocacy and restorative services.

Brad's journey with ZOE began in 2014 in Thailand, where he led child trafficking investigations and rescues as the Director of Child Rescue. Before joining ZOE, Brad was a retired Ephrata Police Detective with experience in child exploitation task forces, including Federal (Internet Crimes Against Children) and local (Lancaster County Anti-Child Pornography Unit) units. Tune in to hear Brad's insights into the fight against human trafficking and his impactful work in the field.
