We are always looking for the shortest route to the extraordinary and in the process we ignore and devalue faithfulness in the ordinary. In doing so we reject the only sustainable life of faith. Do you value the ordinary?
Two realities must be embraced for a church to be healthy: Every church member matters and Every church member is needed. We are saved to be in community. Where is your Christian community?
In the search for the extraordinary, often ordinary living is devalued. Scripture values both and calls us to be faithful in ordinary life because this is what God uses to bring about extraordinary results. Love much and work hard. Do either describe you?

In times of trouble and distress we must look to Jesus and His finished work to find refuge. Where will you turn when you are seeking shelter?
Everyone is building their life on some kind of foundation, whether you realize it or not. The question you have to ask yourself is,"Will my foundation hold when the storms come?" Will yours?
We all place our confidence in something or some one. Jesus challenges us to make sure it is not misplaced. Where does your assurance rest?

Prayer reflects what we are really about. It reflects what we functionally believe. The lack of prayer reflects this as well. Are you willing to hear how Jesus wants you to pray?
Our lives and everything we do make much of something. Jesus says that even in doing religious things we can make much of ourselves or Him. Which is it for you?
Those who submit to King Jesus are called to a new way of life. We are called to see people as our mission rather than our enemy. Are you experiencing this new life?
The new life we are called to live is one of compassion. First we must see ourselves and our life rightly. Then we can begin to see others with compassion. Are you living life in the Kingdom?
Life in the Kingdom is more than a list of do's and don'ts. It is a call for a new way to do life. One that is honest, with ourselves, with others and with God. Are you a person known for your integrity? If so to what end?
