How Does the Alcohol Industry Work?

As alcohol consumers, we normally only see the customer facing side of the industry. The simplicity of a purchase makes it easy to think that alcohol goes from production to market to sell, but the reality here in the United States is a little more complicated than that. Here we have what is called the "3-Tier System". Today we are examining how this system functions, and as usual, providing some of our own insights and opinions as to whether this system works as intended.
