A chance to fight
God has given me another chance to fight for my life.
God has given me another chance to fight for my life.
Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you Lord for all you have done and are still doing for me. Thank you for the gift of life and prayer. Thank you that you are God. Thank you for everything.
I fell from the stairs, I had back pain for months, then boom I’m told the breast cancer is back and has spread on my spine.
As you all know I never get tired of sharing my story, I shared a my story with Hot1027. A big shout out to Tara Penny, Head of News @ Hot1027
Our bodies are constantly changing and it's from different experiences and living in a social media driven space self-love and self-acceptance is a challenge, but we need to try to fight through it by accepting who we are and it's ok to change whatever we are unhappy about but we need to make those changes for ourselves. We owe it to ourselves to fight for who we are.
What a fight it has been, from having a lump in my breast since Sept 2020 until Oct 2021, I'm finally lump free. This was a season of growth and I'm glad I didn't own the cancer, I just went through it and the big fight is almost over. I'm a WARRIOR.
Everything we go through is a season and it’s not there to last forever. We’re always so ready to get over something that’s uncomfortable in our lives, but we never try to understand why we’re going through it. There’s always a lesson in every season we face. A lot has happened since the last episode. I am glad to be able to still share as my journey continues.
Join me as I continue sharing my breast cancer journey. In this episode I try to explain what it is that I do when I go for chemo, what chemo I’m on and the effects that I’ve been experiencing.
In a world where everything is just moving so fast and everyone trying to keep up, most of us end up losing ourselves. Depression and anxiety are deemed taboo in most cultures but a lot of people are suffering from these and they don’t even know it, it’s time to unite and be there for one another and we can simply start by being kind to everyone around us. And always remember, we’re all going through something.
Cancer is more of a mental fight than it is physical. Chemo hasn’t been kind to my body, but it’s doing its job since the lump is already starting to shrink. I’m only on my first dose of chemotherapy but I’m in hospital from the effects and still have 15 more to go. Please join me as I continue on this journey that has taught me humility and shown me how much people actually care.
Being diagnosed with breast cancer at the of 27 was the scariest thing ever. I was so scared. I’m a new mom and my baby isn’t even 2 years old. Still looking forward to my wedding day. Still want to drive a Bentley, surely that’s reason enough to still want to fight for my life right? This sickness has humbled me so much and has made me more grateful for life. This is Fiona’s journey.
Relationships we get into are a choice and we shouldn’t enter them blindly. They should add happiness to our lives and not misery. Do we know the reason why we get into relationships? How & why do we allow relationships to rule our lives?
