Ain't doing there, Rand, We are doing awesome. Just getting ready for uh, you know, school ending, so that wrapping up that, but also doing a whole lot of prep work for what's coming up in August. So what's the big prep plan. So we got actually before then, we've got an EMT class that starts in a
few weeks, right, so we're gearing up there. That had interviews with some of those students last week and it was an awesome time. And then now just gearing up. We got our full time programs are full, but we still got openings on all of our flex programs, which are those evenings a couple of nights a week. In most cases, those certifications are done in ten months and ready to go. So we've got a whole list of
those our COMPTA certifications. So if you're interested in it or working in the computer field, networking, cybersecurity, that's the thing for you, that's what you want to look at. We've got medical office specialist in that program. You can do online hybrid, you can do a little bit online, a little bit in person, or you can choose to do an in person.
So whatever fits you best. We've got openings there. We've got construction Technology which is a great program, heating and air plumbing, electrical carpentry, so whole slew of things and get those all. You get six national certifications through that program in ten months. This is wonderful. What's the deadline here, so hey, just soup. We'll look at try to close the applications three
weeks before class starts. So I think August twenty first is our first to class, so we'll be looking at three weeks, so right at the beginning of August we'll close that application. But well, let's fill them now, let's get you going. Yeah, I tell you they close quick, because they do. They are very popular. Now, these are certification classes. This is great because a lot of times folks thought that, well, in order to do anything, I'd have to get a four year degree and maybe
something extra just to get into the field. That's not exactly the case in these situations. These days, we have taken an ear to what the employers need and what educators can provide, and with that collaboration Look what Tri County Tech has a complay absolutely all of our programs. We you know, we have advisory boards that work with local businesses in our area that help bring um,
bring us insight to us or what are we seeing an industry? So our instructors are able to give instruction to our students so they're ready to go to work right when they leave. Oh so it's a great deal. Well this is super. Now, if we want to go online, we just go to Tri County Tech dot edu. That is correct one in a road today. Yeah, try County Tech dot eedu and it's all online. That application processes all online in most cases, depending on the program you choose.
There's a few things that will need material wise from you, but most cases we need. We'll have you come in and take an accuplacer. So it's a i'm an assessment, basic greeting and math assessment right at the beginning. You'll take it there in our assessment center. And then any transcript, high school, college, g D whatever you've got. Um, we don't need all of those. We need one of them though, So get you going and get you get your plugged in and get you going through the admissions process.
Well, this is wonderful. And of course if you want to take a little look at the campus that doesn't heard, just call ahead, right, yeah, call ahead, or you can you can book an appointment with me online. So there's you can book an appointment with me online and we'll give you a tour answer questions for you. Um but yeah, come on, it's a it's a busy time of the year, but it's a good
time, so we're ready for you. This is really great. And the one thing that I really love, and I think everybody really loves about Tri County Tech is that by the time you graduate, you're not gonna be you know, mountains of dollars in dat. Yeah that's right, man. Our our foundation works really hard gathering those funds to help our students. About ninety
percent of our adult students qualify for financial assistance through our foundation. Um but I mean, like me, our adult students graduated our programs owing zero money. Wo. That is irregredible. Yeah, it's awesome for sure. And of course with these flex programs, these work around you. Yeah, you can have a you know, a lot of there's it's built for working adults. That schedule is built for students or students who are working, you know,
working and needing to wanting to further their education. Come on, we'll help you out with it. Wow. This is this is absolutely inspiring for folks who may have been holding on to a job thinking that well, that's all the better it's going to get. And you know that perhaps way back deep inside and your heart and your mind, your body, and so you probably could do better. Well, this is a way to kind of put that on your radar, absolutely and maybe take
a plan of action. Absolutely absolutely, We're not we're not saying pooh poo to anybody's employer by We're just saying, if you feel like you can maybe grow, yeah, this is where we go to grow. Yeah, a lot of professional development opportunities. So I mean, if just to grow yourself as an individual, So come and check us out. We'd love to have you. And maybe even if you're still really like where you're working, but you think you can do better, this is a great way to check out
some certification. Yeah, absolutely, yeah, for sure, for sure. Now these things kind of came about what the last several years, right, yeah, ducation program. Yeah, so we just the last couple of years started looking at ways that we can offer online learning for our students in that continued education and so um we've launched that and that's going really well. And um, you know, the the the flexibility for the working adult to advance
themselves either in a current career or to take a different career path. Um, we've got the we've got the programs for you. This is really cool because there are a lot of folks who are in their thirties and forties and they're thinking, well, you know, I got I got a lot to offer. I've got a lot of life to go. I got a lot of working life to go. Let's just see if there are some options out there, right, and you're not alone. You've got to find like minded
people who you know, it happens. I'm saying thirty eight and forty five, that's when most folks say, and that could be a really good ideas. That's now Trake County Tech is not just for non traditional students. We have traditional absolutely, we have programs for that as well. UM, so those are full come in into the August. I think we do have some openings in our precision Machining, which would be more of a traditional setting. UM, so you could come in and take that program from you know,
be Monday through Friday, mull a full school day with us. But again that certification has done any year, so UM that's an option as well. But we've got UM in that full time programs. We've got all We've got nursing, cosmetology, UM that you can come in and check out and be a part of um But are are the ones that we've got coming up for August are going to be in that flexible evening, So that's a great go check out those programs from welding, construction, our computer networking, medical office
specialists, accounting, So definitely come and check us out. We'd love to love to get you going. I'll tell you what this, this education you're you're looking at, folks, is really worth your time and investment. I'll tell you a little story. I could have used Tri County Tech when I was for sure. I'm not I'm not great. You think I'm doing what
I'm meant to do. But one point in my time, I was just working the radio on the weekends, but I was working a factory during the day, and they introduced me to precision machining and dool and die and all that stuff. You know, a few classes could have gone a long way. We're sure. Waste a lot of material training, We're sure. And then we get our instructor out there does a great job in getting our students
industry radio so they're ready to get a job. We've even had students that are able to go ahead and got start work before you know when, before they even finished their certification and get some work study hours and get paid for that. And so there's lots of opportunities for that, for sure. You get to know the how though, why though, where the how and instead of just because they told you to do it that way.
