Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome, welcome, welcome. It's time now for our community get action right here on K one, the one you trust. And we're having a little Christmas in July somewhere. But find all this stop. We've got Tina and Dorry here, ladies,

take it away. What do we got going on? Well, we have it's not Green Country Christmas, but it's the auction tomorrow and it's maybe hundred degrees on the outside, but the air conditioner is on and cool at the fair grounds in Dewey, and we look forward to seeing everybody tomorrow morning for the highlight of summer. They're very good. We're going to say, people's a money, Tina. This is a cool auction because we don't drive.

Really. The price is up, it stops at a certain point, it stops at eighty percent of that retail price, and once you meet that, the auction is over. Last. Bitter gets the prize. Dorry, do we have trump cards so to speak? Well, if somebody truly wants to play the eighty percent price, they can go max bid and they can get that get it for the eighty percent. But I'll tell you most things go

like around forty or whatever things too. So yeah, yeah, so people are going to get a great deal, just some of the really popular things. And you know, Tina and I, we've had a tough job for the last month. We've been shopping killing it has. But we've been shopping at all our local advertisers having so much fun and we've picked out things that we think are amazing. All right, there's a there's a lot of really cool stuff. We do have the cow again this year, yes, and

I'll have all the stats ready for you in the morning. Okay, So yes, you do not have to take the cow home with you tomorrow. It's a certificate. You can pick it up in at the Coffee of Livestock Barn. So do not have to have your trailer and all of that. So that's a plus. You might want to bring your trailer because we've got

some other big things. We've got the mattress and stuff mattress that you might want to put in your trailer, or we've got that beautiful lawnmower, yes, yes, and then we've got the recliner as well, and the tables and shares and things like this too. We've got some furniture this year. That's really fun and funky. Yeah, Tina and I had fun shopping for that. The bartop table with the adjustable stools. I think that's probably my

favorite furniture piece. It's really cool. Yeah, it's really It's from Bob Loftus. And if you want to see a picture of what we're talking about, if you want to follow a log, if you are in the car right now and you want to whenever you get stopped you want to stop and see what we're talking about, you can go to our website Barswell Radio dot com. On the right side, there's a click through link. It's bright

yellow, you can't miss. It has my little auction man waving his little sign, and click on that and I'll take you right to all of the pictures of what we have available. And there's also a print out if you want to. There's a little page like right in the middle of the page and it says click here, so you can print out a list of everything that's going to be at the auction tomorrow and you can know that eighty percent price, so you can know what you're ready to hold your max bit up

for. So if you're well or if it's like kind of starting to get close or whatever, you know, and starting maybe get sixty seventy it's inch and up there. You might just all of a sudden jump at it with that, because some of them are like exact prices, like down to the sense. So if you say that, you've got it. So, yeah, you can get it that way. But there's something for everybody. You

know. If somebody says, like, now, what are you talking about again, this is something we've done every year, and and what we do is we go out and shop at our local businesses who do business with us. And so we've been out, you know, visiting with them. We've gotten gift certificates and brand new merchandise. This isn't just junk stuff that the businesses don't want anymore and they like donate it to us. No no, no, no no, We've we go out and we buy it, we

shop for it. But the gift certificates particularly, I mean, you can't beat that because there's a lot of great restaurants. There's kickback cards for gas, there's the woodshed has gas and food too, you know, so you've got a lot of great things that you're probably going to be using anyway. And so you might as well get a good deal on them. So if you get like a twenty dollars gas from the woodshed, the most the absolute

most that you will pay for that is sixteen dollars. So I mean you're guaranteed, you know, a free gallon of gas or gallon and a half or whatever it is nowadays. But I mean, and and as costly as they are right now, you know, and you can buy multiples, you

don't have to buy just one. Now, some things we will have a limited on just to make sure that everybody has a chance to you know, maybe get but um, yeah, so but we have all kinds of gift certificates, Adam's Golf Course, American Heritage Beef Company, Um, we have big roots yeah, and massages and we've got several like met spas and stuff like that. Doesn't know exactly, but we have service calls as well, Ernest, Heaton Airs, Holden's, Yeah, Ferris Heat and Air they are

as well. And we have food. Who doesn't like restaurants or yeah those go fast. Yeah, and we've got some that are even coming the Inner Price Tower. We've got some gift certificates for their new restaurants today as well. As the Jimmy's Egg too hasn't quite opened yet, but we have gift certificates for them, so as soon as they open, you'll be able to get the grand opening stuff at bargain prices. Yeah, but we do invite

everybody to come out. We're going to be out there early tomorrow morning, but the doors will open at eight for everybody to come, and we'll have things displayed so you can come and look at the items and touch and feel and kind of check things out. Tina and her daughter have made little cards for each one of these items, and so you can look and see what

the retail prices, you can see what the eighty percent prices. You can see if there's any specifics about it, for instance, if the gift certificates have any expiration dates, that type of thing. You can look at all of this by coming early, so encourage you to come early at eight o'clock. The auction starts at nine o'clock. The numbers are free, doesn't cost anything. Throughout the auction, we'll be drawn for some door prizes and things too, so that's fun. You have a chance to win things, so

it's just really a neat fun time. We look forward to it. Each year. We'll have some T shirts out there too to give away for the first people that come as well, so you know, come early and get a T shirt. And one thing that's unique about our auction that's different than other auctions too, other than it stops at eighty percent of the retail price, is that the gift certificates. We have those all listed on the wall. So again Tina and Cano have made these charts with these not charts,

slips, flip flips whatever. Yeah, yeah, then they're up on the wall. Each one of the gift certificates is listed on the wall of the fair grounds and you can see again what it is, if it has an expiration date, if it has any unique things about it, and you know,

you can find out that. So you can shop that gift certificate list now when we sell them at the auction okay, say we have thirty five of them, okay, and we only sell thirty of them, and during the auction time when it's going on, so we have five left, we'll have another place on the wall over there where we have leftover gift certificates. So if you come later, you weren't there at the beginning and you miss

some of the gift certificates. You can look at that wall and see what gift certificates are left, and you can purchase those for the same price that the people did who were there earlier that got them at that price. Does that make sense, Yeah, okay, so we got to try and state

most wanted last up on the wall. Another fun thing that we do is we give you the calendars of the like if we have shows in Branson or the things that we have in Eureka Springs, in Kansas City, in Oklahoma City, and things like that, we tell you when they're open and you

can plan your trip around that. So if you're going to Branson second week of October you want to know what is available, or you know, if you're going in November, if you have the start of the Christmas shows and you want to plan your trip, then this is the place to plan your trip because you get the right tickets for the right shows, then you won't buy a ticket for something that isn't going to be playing at that time.

So those charts are all there. You can look at the calendars and see, um, you know, if that really is a ticket that you can use. Sandy right there. Hey, why we're gonna take a quick break, Ladies. We're going to be right back with more of our community connection, talking auction and just a moment. Is it time to start thinking about a new car? We started off with a little bit of a Christmas team here and you're probably wanted Christmas tree jingle buzz a lot of people when we go to the auction like we're gonna do tomorrow morning with the doors opening at eight at the at the fair Grounds and doing people do their Christmas shopping with this auction because they can save all kinds of money and they can find what they want that's right.

My little

We've got some more turquoise and silver, and we've been shopping all kinds of yeah, fun places for jewelry this year, and so I think I think it might be so that'd be a good Christmas present too, that's true. And we just added some new ones yesterday, yes from the Lenape Reserve out at the Delaware Complex on Tuxedo, and we added, Oh, we found the most beautiful

things yesterday. We had such a heart. Usually we kind of you know, can gravitate towards it took us a while to gravitate towards anything there because everything is so beautiful. I got to tell you though, there's something we did something very unique. Wait till you see it at turtle shell purse. It's so cool. It's really neat a turtle shell and they said that you know a lot of the ladies will wear them at their pow wows and different

specially events and you know something like that. You know for it, but it is it is really amazing. Yeah, it's kind of fun. So yeah, you gotta see it. Take a look at it tomorrow. We have waal Art. We have UM golf balls, golf at atoms or in the Coffeeville at the Hillcrest golf certificates as well. Like you said, I have this fun little scanner that's sitting in front of us, and um we have light bars and then big ones and little big ones and little ones.

Yeah yeah, those are from Action Communications. So yeah, actually that little oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, well and that's one of one of it's a set of pair. It's a pair. So yeah, so you get both of those going and you got quite a bit of light happen. We have campsite stuff, we have stuff for your health, stuff for um, you can read, yeah, a lot of books. You know. But uh yeah, no, we it's just a lot of unique things this

year, so again come early again. Like Tina said, she's got pictures of them on the website, so you can go to Bartlesfoo radio dot com and and see a lot of them. I'm looking here. She's got that light is really funky too. Yeah, there's a cage lamp. It's kind of that industrial look, you know for a lamp. If you're interested in one like that, it's kind of fun. Thisswaukee Tucky set that we have right here, Yeah, that's gonna be popular amongst the kiddos and stuff. And they say, Grandma,

can we get something at the auction? And I said, one thing, one thing, and one thing. I like the olive oils from the Pahusca Olive Oil Company. It's a new business over there on Pahuska. And I know that you guys have heard this from me in time and time that I am obsessed with these olive oils. But I am, I really am. I'm gonna have to build me a new cabinet just to place all of my olive oils in it. And so they infused and affused olive oils and the

balsamic vinegars and things. Man, I love them. They just make your recipes so much better and they make your your baking better as well, so well it's tastier. Well. Another fun Pahuska place that we were at was Wild Prairie Rose too. Oh yeah, they have jewelry, they have kids things, they have home where. That was really a fun story to shop that as well. But one of my very very very favorites in Phusca is

Prairie Cottage. I mean there's something for everybody there and I always usually get some cookbooks and some other books and stuff there as well as some jewelry and fun home items. And yeah, yet we have some re Drummond cookbooks from there, and we also have the new Miranda Lamour from there. So and I think, don't we have the Killers of the Flower Moon book? I think this time too? U So, yeah, you haven't the movies coming out. You need to read the book first, So this is your place

to be able to get that book. Yeah alrighty ity is the twenty sixth annual radio Auction where we're gonna set up and just have a good time tomorrow how at the Washington County fair Grounds and Dewey Free admission, all kinds of great deals, free numbers, and of course a nice little stuff to munch on from crossing. Second, doors are gonna open at eight, the hammer

goes down at nine, and it's air conditioned. And it's air conditioned in case you were worried it's gonna be one of those outdoor auctions where you're gonna be kind of a sweaty betty. That's not gonna happen now when they say fair grounds and people's give me outside. No, it's inside, air conditioned. Alrighty ladies, thanks for being with us today. Plus we've been talking auction on K one.
