Okay, Dan, let me get this straight. We send our information via the r Vest home for me app you reviewed it here and now we're prequalified officially. Wow, that's helpful, very helpful. Easy our Vest bank. I'm ready to help. Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome welk, welcome. Any's time now for our community connection and we have but okay, I'm with us in today and it's always okay when we have. Okay, Am, how are you doing there, young lady? We're

good. How are you this morning? Time? Mary Lynn, you brought in you brought in friends again. I brought in my wonderful, wonderful, wonderful interns. I brought into Cell Dobson and Joyce Yang. Unfortunately Mia could not join us this morning. She is at the dentist. Okay, so I think we're having a lot more fun than mea. We'll just say that right now. But you know, great great festival. Man. A lot of folks think, well, okay, that's it till next year. It's

not quite it till next year. Before well, let's just kind of rehash a little bit about the festival because it was grand. Oh, thank you. The artists were truly amazing. Some of the best lineup. I think we've ever had so many Grammy Award winning just so many talented artists I think overall, and the girls can tell me if I'm wrong. I think those who attended really really had a good time, really enjoyed it, and we've

gotten only positive feedback. So we're very thankful to Bartlesville, thankful to all of our community sponsors, Thankful to the radio station and everyone that supported Okay on Music. Of course, we couldn't do it without everyone in the community, and so we're very grateful and thanks to everybody who came out and had a good time. You know. One of the unexpected, just awesome things, it's going to probably stick in people's minds for years and years and years,

happened at the Lee Greenwood concert. Lee Greenwood put on a great show and everyone knew that he would. He came through in flying colors, but we had a little bit of a rain delay after Jasselle had had opened and done just a fine job and must have been huntering a frying pan up there. It was kind of like I had a little bit of an aternaline rush, funny, but I couldn't really notice. It didn't really care either.

But the next group, Buffalo Rome, came up, and then we had a little bit of a rain delight, but those guys didn't want to stop playing, and you know what they did. They went inside the museum and I must say, beautiful acoustics there. It was pretty amazing that they had. You know, we were all coming up with a plan of A, B and C. What's going to happen if it passes over? What's going

to happen if it doesn't pass what are we going to do? And so thanks to Woolarock and their amazing staff, they were able to let those who wanted to go into the museum go into museum. Buffalo Rome just played acoustically. It was fantastic. They kind of sat on the stairs and everyone around just really enjoyed it. Of course, it's music from Laurel Canyon, so who doesn't love the mamas and the papas and the Eagles and the music of

that air. Some of us, however, we're doing a meet and greet with Lee Greenwoods, so we all kind of got trapped over on a large side, which was also amazing. It was you had about thirty people who got suspend about an hour with Lee Greenwood, and I think they were tickled pink. I think they were due absolutely, So it turned out to be an amazing even the storm went away and then the weather cooled off. The night was wonderful, and of course Lee Greenwood did an amazing job and the

fireworks were spectacular. Oh great, how did go down and tell us there for the finale? Because that really that's a nice day when you could pull that off. The venue was beautiful. It was a little sketchy weatherwise. All day long. You saw this big storm and then what you couldn't tell is it was either going to hit us directly or it was going to split.

And so at the last minute it split. We were able to have our wonderful orchestra play outside, and then when we got our quartet escher On there, they had gotten I think through the first movement and then all of a sudden, drop drop, so immediately it stops. We move everyone inside. We never saw any more rain, but of course, with their instruments being very, very expensive, it was the smart thing to do, so we moved to them inside. Everyone gathered around in the hall where Katie was

going to perform later that evening. It was candlelight. It was beautiful. Um, I think we were all in awe of Usher Quartet. They are beautiful musicians. I hope we get to have them back very soon. And then of course Katie concluded it with a candlelight Mozart concert that was just beautiful. So I would say overall that night was also fantastic. Oh nice, very spite the weather. Now what do we have coming up? Because you

know, we we packed the instruments away for a little bit. We've cleaned up the venue and everything's back to you till the next show comes up. But in the meantime we got to prepare for We are just gearing up. So we have October Fest coming up on the seventh of October. Now, just because you're at school doesn't mean you can't come back for that weekend. Okay, ladies, we hope they're going to come back, although that might

be hard for Joyce, she's going to be at Princeton. Okay, we'll get We'll say to a care pack some princials in the mail, they Chris Kendal we have coming up. And I did want to say something important about Chris Kendal. Normally it's the first Saturday. However, with the last big Bedlin game on November fourth, we decided to go ahead and move Chris Kendal

Market to the eleventh and twelfth. So we've added Agay, We've moved it to the second weekend, and I think that will allow a lot more folks to attend, certainly go to the game and then come the next weekend to our market, and it allows the vendors to have two days after that, we go into hashtag Giving Tuesday, which is following Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and then we end it with Saint Nicholas Day on December six. Marilyn, when

you catch your breath, I'm really late at night. I've caught those emails. She's going to bed as I'm waking up and I get up at two. That is not good. We've talked about that, Tommy, and you get sleep. But yeah, so I brought the girls so they could talk about it. They've we've got our posters, We've got everything going, Jo, that's what you got there. Well, look at that. I have the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas time. So it's just Kindle

Market, isn't it. Though. Now we're gonna be at the what the Hilton Garden in this, aren't we Yes, So they are have been really lovely and really just working with us. They're very excited to find a way to incorporate all the community and together we can work with like fenders and local performers just out here. It's going to come back from college, and we'll also have like Missus Claus and mister Claus and a bunch of other musicians within

the community, especially youth musicians. So we're really looking forward to that. And we're going to have vendors from all across Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and so if you need a gift for someone, we probably have something there, so make sure to stop by. Well, we're gonna have to get you an airline ticket get you back. Just so you got this little party

going on over here. What you got there? So we are planning Octoberfest on October seventh, that is the first Saturday of October, and we're gonna have that on Dewey Avenue between fourth and fifth Street, So that's right on the OKAM office. Yeah. So there's gonna be a lot of food, lots of beer, there's gonna be dancing games, a lot of kids activities too. That's good. That's good. I've been there when we've had at

that location before a couple of years ago, and that was busy. We even hit TV trucks down there, I mean, and this is where we had it last year too. It is a really good location. I think it's really nice. We'll have our two big tents set up again, one with the music, one that doesn't have the music will have Blaska Spellamuckschnell and of course King Cabbage, who everyone loves. They'll be coming back to play, so I think the music will be fantastic. We'll have the German American

Society Dancers. They'll be coming back from Tulsa and so they'll teach everyone how to do some polka and some of course the Chicken Dance. Can't miss it without the Chicken Dance. Children are free twelve and unders. So you can get your tickets right now to sell. What is our code for getting in early? So we have a discount code if you go on our ticket website. Okay, I'm music dot org. At checkout, you can use code prost exclamation point fifteen and prost is in all cats. All right, very

good. Now there's going to be all kinds of food there, right, all kinds of beverage. Is gonna be a little little beer in there. So there's going to be I think a lot of beer in there. We are partnering with Palace Rooms, okay, and David Klewhite is helping us get some amazing beer vendors like Scissor Tail. So we'll have some of those who we have last year, maybe some new ones that people need to come check it out. Of course, we'll have pretzels, we'll have brats, We'll

have sauerkraut, all different kinds of sausages, apple strudle. I think we're going to have some noodles from our noodle truck. I think hopefully sipping sweets will get to join us again. Also Mexican food. If you're not into the German food, we'll have that. So I think there's a little bit of something for everyone, but a lot of German something or to tell you know, just so you know you're kind of young, sol, I'll take the beer off your hands for you, Okay, Now I'll taste it for

you. I'll let you know how good it is. So in a couple of years, you know, a couple of yearn For those who don't really enjoy the beer, David will have wine available too, so that will be nice. Got you there, two kids, Okay, looking out for you. I'm looking out for you. Thank you. But this is going to be great because you know, once the music gets going, that's that's it. You're in. You're the parties on you're in it too, you know. And everyone seems to have a really good time. We have a lot

of games that even the adults like to play. Of course, we have hammer slog in, which is where you take the nail and hit it into the wood. We'll have our root beer pong again that families can play and win some root beer, get their mugs, take those home. We'll have the axe throwing and so it's a good time. M beer tasting and axe throwing. It's gonna be fun. There you go. I like it. The news is the axes are are The axe is not real, it's plastic. Got so, I got to ask you, Joyce, how has this

summer been for you? It's been really good. I've learned a lot, whether it be from the production side or just how to be a good intern. And I also know how to take care of a dog, which is really great. And so it's just the growth that okay And provides personally and in the community is unrivaled. So it's been great getting to spend every day with these two. Ama, mister Vim since Chanel and Chanelle, Why do you like your summer? I've really enjoyed working in okay Im It's the festival

was so much fun. I'm definitely coming back next year. Yeah. I got to meet a lot of people, and especially a lot of musicians and people in the music world. I think that's really good for me going into music. So well, yeah, you gotta hang around with them a little bit, kind of see how that worked playing the instruments one thing. But

what have you noticed? Both of you are musicians. Once you hang around other musicians, you find that you're kind of on that very similar wavelength and it's kind of unique because not everybody he's in on that, you know what.

So yeah, well it's also really nice because for just So, I made her play one afternoon prior to a concert or late I guess late in the afternoon and Time for Three was coming down sort of for our pre show meet and greet, and they heard just Sell playing and they went into the community hall and matt her greeted her said, hey, you know, like maybe sometime you can come to her with us. And so I think it's really cool when our talent gets to meet other talent and then that's how you

network. So we hope that that's what we're accomplishing for our interns as well as teaching them things from watching dogs to doing marketing to I think you know, there are a lot of skill sets that you get to have public speaking, and so we couldn't do it without our interns. So we are just thrilled to have these. We had three of the best. I mean, we had three of the absolute best. We were just very very very grateful for all their hard work. They never said no, They never were like,

oh we just can't you know, we're so tired. Never they just kept going. If I kept going, they kept going, and they tried to take it to do just say. They kept trying to take care of the artists, take care of all the needs. And these are these are kids who are going someplace, so we're very proud of them. So what

are you looking forward to at Princeton. I'm really looking forward to all the classes because especially for kind of it's an older school, so you would think their classes would be kind of very straightforward, but no, there's a lot

of really exciting classes I want to take. So I'm a Public policy and International affairs major, but I have to fulfill like science requirements, so one of them I want to use to fulfill It is like making the perfect cup of coffee, So that would be like a chemistry class, but the whole time you're just learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee through chemistry,

so and that fulfills my science requirement with a lab. So it's just like being able to take those really really fun classes while also being able to dive deeper into my major and explore different opportunities there because you're still water right, Yes I am. I'm studying vocal performance in violin mormants. My schedule's crazy. It's all music classes except for Spanish because vocal performance is technically a speaking major, so I have to take Spanish. Again. Well, there you

go making a cup of coffee for a science class. You know, that's why you're smart, And then come back and I can make you a couple of coffee every day in this name, I am so and scientifically at that you can explain the process.
