Fun. Tickets for the rest of our kids events are still up and running, and yeah, a lot of things, a lot of fun events for kids in the summer and great educational activities. Now I understand the Winning the poote is get kind of close to being sold out them, are correct there? Coin, Yes, that's right. So that is the only ticketed event that cost anything is the Winning the Poo tea, and it sells out very fast, and so there are still a few seats left, okay, so

yeah, that's still available. But all the rest of the children's events are free events. You just have to reserve a spot through like the OKM office or just online OKM Music. That way we know how many to expect and we can have the amount of space and the right amount of materials everything and bring on. And this has been a lot of fun. You've been an interned nowt for how long? Three days? Three days? They've shown you around and got you doing things and everything. So what's the funnest part of

the job right now? With okay, am right now definitely making the props for the tea party that we're gonna have on Saturday. Very fun. I made a carrot patch yesterday well there, you know you don't do that every day every day. Very fun, very fine. Now justsell once again, not only are you an intern, but you're a performer. Now, last year you put the lights out out there at Waller Rock and you played the keyboard and you did a lot of singing and everything else like that. And

this year you're going to be doing something just a little different. Tell us about what we can expect, is you lead off the festival this year? Yeah? So our festival this year, in honor of our fortieth anniversary, our festival is going to be completely classical music. So I'm making the grand switch to classical music for this festival. I'm singing some art songs and I'm playing one violin concerto. Wow, man, this is going to be great. Yeah. Now, mind you, she did not get rained on last

year. I did not Lee Greenwood did not get rained on last year. But the poor guy's in the middle from Buffalo Room. They made the best of it. But you know what, that turned out to be a beautiful night. And I can't think of a better place to kick off a festival as grand as Okay Ams with the beauty of wool Rock. You gotta love playing out there. Yeah, it's really fun. I remember going to Wollarrock when I was a kid, and it's just great to be there. Yeah,

I love it. Then the show is going to move down to Tulsa or day number two. Yes it is. We have Jenny Lynn and Adam Tyler. They're great pianists. They're going to be playing some mozart together. And we also have the Tulsa Honors Baroque Orchestra from Tulsa Youth. It's going to be great. Oh indeed, indeed, ladies, I gotta ask you, the finale looks to be to die for with the Estra Quartet. That's

going to be right here in Bartlesville, isn't it. Yes, that'll be here in Bartlesville at the refinery we used to be the Johnstone Shair Building. Well it is, so this is really gonna be something else. Now I understand, Giselle. You were telling me that some of the band members kind of float from different orchestra to different orchestra because they all know each other.

They've known each other for a long time. Yeah. So those who went to the festival last year, you'll know that we had Estra Quartet last year and they were amazing and they are part of a group called the Manhattan Chamber Players who will be at will Rock on Friday. So if they're in the whole town, don't they Yes, if there are anything like the people from Esher Quartet, they're going to be amazing, beautiful, beautiful music. All right, this is great now, ladies, tickets we can buy them?

Can we get them at the office. Yes. So there's three ways you can get tickets. So one is you can go on the website okmusic dot org, or you can call nine one eight three three six nine nine year zero. Or you can come to the office and that will be located at four point fifteen South Dewey, where Rose or one of our lovely interns will

come and reserve a spot for you to come to the festival. If you see these smiling faces inside the building, you know who you're talking to because you know they've been there for wopping three days and and you know this is great. It's been a lot of fun, haven't it. Oh? Absolutely? And you know something, you're you'll don't want to come back because look what happened to yourself. We can't get rid of her, I mean, why she's back. I mean, she's back for more. I don't even

live here anymore. I know you don't come back now. Also, we have the the sugar Plumb Shop. Have you seen that yet? Yes? The sugar Plum Shop is in the OKM building. It is so adorable, Like what do you have been there? There's like little gifts and like teacups, all sorts of like really unique decorations, huh. And merchandise there you can buy like any of the festival shirts or hats. There's actually for this festival we have t shirt stickers and posters for sale. They're really amazing.

So you could either order those online or in this directly in the store. Got to get the merch yes, absolutely. You can go to the show without the merch absolutely, yeah. I mean that's what it's all about. You got to have a souvenir to remember it by, because you know it said this is the big fortieth year though, this is going to be collectors side of stuff. Oh my gosh. So once again we have the wonderful website, and I gotta tell you, I don't know who's been putting it

together, but it's easier to surf every time I go on. Oh, is it huge or so? All right, all right, let's see what you might go out. But anyway, it's easy to navigate and if you go there, not only are you going to see the prices for the tickets that's okammusic dot org, but also you can read up a little bit about

the performers, all about the especially for kids. And if you don't know what okam music is all about, well they'll tell you to hit the thing that says about and it's a nice, nice, easy to consume paragraphs about each and every little thing they do, from scholarships to working with children, to helping out with school, so especially for kids, and then putting on put paint in the barn and putting on a show. And it's really really a cool thing. Great photographs too, you know, did you have a

professional photographers involved here? Did you do that yourself too? No, we have photographers just watering, just wondering, you know, I have to give her a hard time. Anyway, it's all there the festival. Of course. The tickets are easy to get and again you can buy them at the office, right, yes, okay, come right inside, say hi to you and get get a shirt from a Coreana you know, she'll sell your shirt there and then make sure you get tickets to see just help perform.

I don't want to embarrass her make you feel, you know, kind of you know, like, but she does put out a great show. Have you seen her perform, ladies. I've seen her play violin and she's amazing. She doesn't like she's breathing. And here's yeah, I've got one of those at home. You know, it's right by the fireplace. It's ready to go in. I saw that. I started playing high school and I'm set going geez, alright, that looks too easy. I started playing again.

I was like, that's not that easy. But anyway, she going to school for it and learning a lot. Anyway, it's going to be a great time. Okay, in music, and it's great to have young people in the office and also being a part of this. But what do you hope to gain from your internship? So I'm getting a minor in arts management and entrepreneurship. So I hope to do a nonprofit one day, like to be able to help people like okay and helps people. Where are you

going to school? I go to the University of Oklahoma. Alright, and what about you Oklahoma State. All right, go folks, what are you doing there? I'm studying music education and violin performance, all right, and you sell you're a dough os. Uh yeah, yes, I just switched my major to music industry. So but I'm still singing and playing violin. Remember what I said before we went on the air. Don't sign any record

contracts to get that education. Okay? Yeah? How many times? How many times have people come up to you and say, hey, sign here? Yet I had a project where we had to sign a fake tron contract. Well do the fake ones? All right? You don't want to have somebody going, hey, kid, gotta make a million dollars here and you'll never see that million dollars. See, well but you won't. All right, got it? So it's good you're getting educated here. It is eight

forty three. It is Okay Music, and you can go to Okay Music dot Org. Don't forget the children's programs, especially for kids, get underway tomorrow. We've got the keyboard orchestra going on at First Presbyterian Church right there on Dewey Avenue, and that will be at noon if I'm not mistaken. And then you go out to SunFest later on that evening, and we'll have the Eagle dancing. You're dancing eagles. I'm sorry, I got it committed

to memory here. And then of course we get things going the next weekend with the big show at will Rock. Then we go down to Tulsa at the Casha Hall, and then we bring it back to the Refinery otherwise known as Johnstone Sarah Building, and we're gonna do it just like we did forty years ago. I wasn't here for it. I wasn't. I was around forty years ago. Boy was I around, But I wasn't here in Bartlesville

for the initial show. And I keep hearing such great stories from Mary Lynn and from John and from Rosen, from everybody else who're very familiar with the history of OKM. And if you get a chance, if you stop by the office, just ask one of the folks been around for a little bit and they'll regale you. You might even get to see some of the stuff from the if you know where to look. Have you seen that? Oh yeah, you gonna ask permission there. But anyway, it's really cool.

So tickets available at OKM music dot org. Get your t shirts and your merge from Coreana and Brianna. They're at the Sugar Plum Shop and get your posters and everything else because fortieth anniversary only comes around once, so you got to get that and break a leg out there at will Rock.
