All righty, good morning, walk a walk a welcome. It is time now for our community connection and it's beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas, and it has really ever since you had the Chris Kindle market. But okm we got Marilynn Mim. How you doing, I'm great, Good morning Tom, how are you? I'm doing? Wonderful looks like he had, you know, land office business down there at the hotel. You know, it was an amazing event. We had a wonderful turnout. We had

very amazing blessed weather. Okam seems to attract storms. There was no bad weather. It was a little cloudy the first day, but still really nice. The second day was beautiful and sunny. We had over three hundred and seventy kids that came out this weekend, so we are just tickled pink about that had an amazing turnout with the vendors, had an amazing turnout with all of those who came through. Of course, we had the Veterans Day Parade

on Saturday. That helps a little. Yeah, it was. It was really neat because all of the kids who were at the Kids activity which faced the raid kind of stopped what they were doing when they heard all the music and they heard all of the pomp and stamps coming and so they like ran over to the of course we had fencing up, but they ran over and some of them watched it out of the jumpie and just really enjoyed it.

And then after the parade was over, Yeah, we probably got maybe one hundred maybe two hundred people that you know, didn't know what was going on. So it was wonderful, great timing. I want to give a huge shout out to the Hilton garden In. They were amazing. They were hospitable. If we needed something, they were right there to help us. And so I think the vendors really enjoyed the location. I think guests really enjoyed the location. So yeah, we hope to get to have it there again

and partner with Hilton garden In and it was awesome. Tammy Brinkman, you're very superstar from Bartosbel Radio also see the event for two whole days, so I think we wore her out, but she did an amazing job. We had as you energized her. Buddy Doliverpool, you've got that going on all he does. And we had just Sell who came back and performed for us,

and so that was really nice. Mia and Jasell, who were on the radio a couple of times this summer, both came back and helped work the event, and so it was really nice to see them and catch up and then so it was just an overall amazing event. We were very excited to be able to host it and just very thankful to the community for supporting it. Wow, that's amazing. And it doesn't stop there. It seems like that kind of gets the ball rolling for two big events. We got

one coming up tomorrow. We want to make sure nobody absolutely We have hashtag Giving Tuesday. Tomorrow is the National day of recognition of giving back to your favorite charities. It's important because nonprofits do a lot of good for our country. Nonprofits due a lot in Bartlesville. I think we have maybe the most

per capita of any town. We are so blessed and it's just a time that you can reach back out and give anywhere from a dollar, I always say, to a million dollars if you have it lying around, your favorite profit or nonprofit could really use your support. And so we have a hashtag Giving Tuesday. It's an open house tomorrow at okm So stop by at four fifteen South Dewey from four to six pm and we're going to have some nice cocoa, some nice pastries. You can come shop at our little shop.

A lot of people don't know we have a little boutique called the sugar Plum Shop. It has all kinds of gifts that you can do some Christmas shopping and help support the community, help support your loved ones by giving them an awesome gift. And you can get your Green Country ticket there if you spend

some money. And our goal is to try to reach ten thousand dollars tomorrow for children's programming, because for this next year, our festival will be again ten days for the children's portion of it, and that's very expensive and we want to give it it's all free for the kids. So we want to start early, raise that money and give back to the community and give back to our families. And God bless Rose and everybody involved with the kids programming,

because wow, that that is really spectacular. Rose is amazing. She's already added several new items programs. We are teaming up for a very exciting can't announce it yet, but we have something coming that's very special for children. I think they're going to really like it. If the powers are that are in charge of it will let me participate, I think I'll be a

little kid again and participate in this event. It sounds amazing and so hopefully in the next few months we'll be able to oh hopefully in the next month we'll be able to announce that, and so we're very excited. So tomorrow is very important for us, as it is for many charities across the nation.

So if people can stop by four fifteen South Dewey from four to six, have some free hot chocolate, some free pastries, look around, let us share with you all of our programming and just come support the arts, support music support. Okay, that's what is all about. We also have

And for the last few years, especially since COVID, we've had sort of a virtual Saint Nicholas, and we've done live streaming events and we've had

story reading and time and some crafts and it's been very nice. This year, we're going to do it in person, so we need everyone to come back to OKAM at five pm to six thirty and we're going to have special time with Saint Nicholas, get your picture taken, also have some story times, some more hot cocos, some cookies, some crafts and just a really nice time. The Bartleswell High School students from choir and drama are coming to

read some stories to our kiddos that come and to parents who come. And I think it's going to be very exciting and it's going to be a really nice evening. I think it's going to be great. Yes, this is something that's really really cool. And of course everything that we have coming up and some archive items I guess too, can be found at your website, which, by the way, it's a delight.
