got Jesus Burger coming up, Jesus s Burger this Saturday. Absolutely absolutely. This is a third Saturday of the month. Uh huh, and third Saturday of every month we do Jesus Burger. The only thing that has changed is we do it at noon. Now that's good instead of six pm. Why make them wait? Why make them wait? Yeah? So but this month, because the weather is we're in Oklahoma, it's gonna be mostly Oklahoma tomorrow. If you don't like it, stick around, it'll change, you know.
So we're gonna move inside this Saturday at noon. So we're gonna have yeah, let's agree all this have drops the temperature. But anyway, so we we plan on having the event inside the church at Flour eleven West fourteenth Street, right across our FYC air conditioned comfort, So please just uh you may not see all the chairs and everything's set up in the parking lot, but Jesus Burger Is is taking place, and it's going to be in the
air conditions very nice. So so we're gonna have the we're gonna have the folks out cooking burgers a little bit early, try to beat the heat. But anyway, it's it's gonna be. It's gonna be amazing. Kevin Knowles, our friend, Kevin, your friend, our friend, Kevin Knowles, mutual friends, mutual friend, amazing, amazing, amazing man of God and an amazing musician. His brother's coming down this weekend really, and he and his brother are going to do some worship songs during Jesus Murder. Yeah.
They so ought to be worth the price of admission, telling you money back, guaranteed you'll like it. Oh yeah, well, Kevin just he's a solid human being and yes, and also just a solid musician, very gifted person, very very good brothers apparently oh wow, brother is blessed as well in musical abilities and uh and uh, community bartswith community keep Kevin and his family in prayer. His wife is dealing with some health issues and they need
a touch from God. Yeah. Yeah, in every aspect we declare healing in Jesus name, physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, financial, every aspect of healing. We speak over Kevin and his family. You know something, she never loses her smile to tell you something else. And he push us through, you know, and because he who who is our provider at God, and he knows that, so he sticks on that with faith and so and so he's he's getting through with you know, God's providing for him
and his family. Yep. So it's been an amazing month. There's been a lot of things going on. This I've seen on your Facebook page. There's a lot of activity, lots of acts. You had a glow last month, oh yeah, yeah yeah, and Bridging Hunger come to a Glow is a women's group that is national and they are I don't explain it. They are women's group that promote Jesus and they're amazing. They can. Yeah, they try to do community services and there's a women's aglow here in bartles
Hill as well. But Shidow was invited to come to sam Springs to speak at the Women's Aglow event and there was probably an hundred people there or so, and and she was able to speak the Word of God and encourage the ladies there. It was an amazing, amazing event. Those ladies came to Jesus Burger the Saturday before Shidow went down there, so and they're excited their like, yeah, They're like, we do this here too. And what
amazed me was when we pulled up to their facility. Uh, there was Billy Graham, Franklin Graham's semi trucks and vans and trailers and feeding the home et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, and and the Aglo ladies when it storms came through. Yeah. So and the Aglo ladies are like, can can we do Jesus Burger too? And I'm like, and I'm thinking to myself, You've got Franklin. We didn't know what it was. All good stuff right here. That's just the impact that Jesus Burger has threatening it's
it's it's open. So one of the guys, one of the workers, the volunteers from my Franklin H. Graham, came in and he was broken because his wife had been struggling with some of the things I'm speaking about, and and and mate, you never know when you can reach somebody that somebody
else can't reach. And so we were able to minister into his life life and believe for healing and prayer and help him and his family, which you know, he couldn't go to the probably other group and say, hey, my wife's dealing with this, this and this and this, and so it was neat how I mean, come on, Billy Graham, Billy Graham's workers coming to us and getting and getting engaged some inside. So once again that's the Body of Christ coming together. And every year's important part is the body
coming together. And that's all we try to promote. At Jesus Burger as well came out to yeah, bridging Yes. So we we tried to reach out to other churches and we invite them to have an opportunity to at least be there and do the altar call. You know, and when people come to the altar pray with them. It's not about get real ministries. It's about Jesus and it's about promoting the Kingdom of Heaven. Our vision is to have hey, Jesus Burger at other locations on the week other weekends, so
you might be on your way right well. And if any other churches, yeah, if you ever want, you have one in your area. And you don't even have to be a church, if you just want to hit that up and and and say, hey, I want to have this Jesus Burger and I have this church. I go to get involved, get the community, get with us and let us know and we'll help you kick one all in. And what Jesus Burger is all about, it's about reaching the people. It is reaching the people. And in a nutshell, it's church
outside. We have we have full blowing worship, we have the preaching word, have water baptism. While we're doing that, we're grilling burgers. We have a clothing minister, we have a food ministry. So when the Jesus part is complete, we sit down, we eat together, we laugh together, we love on one another. The folks get clothing, they get food bags if they need, do them. And it's just a way to be the hands of feet of Jesus. And we want that to be throughout the
community. So whosoever will you know, whosoever has a desire to reach their part of the community because we can't do it all. We weren't called to do it all. One thing I remember you too telling me a long time ago, we're not in competition with anybody where you're in collaboration with everybody's right, And yeah, whatever denomination, it's all about Jesus and helping the community. And so if you're wanting to be involved and get one in your area,
absolutely let us know. It's in life changing for you and the people around your area. Not only do you get to woo clothing sometimes sometimes you get you know, a shower, but by God also uh baptisms. I'm telling you, I believe last month we had nine water baptisms take place. You guys ran out of film. Money can't be you know, it's amazing. It's amazing because the spirit of God moved on the heart of two people
originally that they want to be water baptized. And and as as people recognize and realize this is of God, and if this will help me draw closer to God, I want to be a part of and the water baptism. You must be saved. You must be born again first and foremost, because you're not born again, you're just going to go in and dry center and come out of wet center. You know what I mean. So you must
be born again. But then once you're born again, once you asked Jesus to be Lord and savior of your life, there's there's another step, and another step and another step. It's not and some people will will this will offend some, But I'm telling you from what I've experienced, you can't just say this little nursery rhyan prayer and thank You're good for all eternity. The salvation prayer is but the key that unlocks everything that the Kingdom of Heaven has
to offer. The real work begins, The real work begins, The real work begins. But after salvation comes the desire, just like the Just like the eunuch when he was reading the scroll and and he was like, so, so what's to what's to forbid me from being water? Baptizer's water right here? And Philip said, absolutely nothing. Come on, let's be water baptized. It's a desire to get closer to go. And I think, yeah. We had a lady and and she said, every time you mentioned
my name, it's like some kind of big sinner, Miss Pat. No, Pat pointdexter God. She's been worshiping with us for I don't know, over a year now, a couple of years probably, And when she first was there, she was like, you know, I just don't understand the need for water baptism. I just I you know, I just don't understand the need for it. Now, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. No, no, no, no, no, you
know, the Holy Spirit. That's what I was amazing, absolutely said, you know, just just keep loving Jesus, keep letting Jesus love you. Well. Our last outdoor event we had at the Unity Park, uh, we had another lady, miss Connie. She's been serving Jesus for decades, you know, a long time. And she come walking up and she's and we were standing right in front of the speaker, and I really didn't hear it at first, and she said I couldn't unsaid, and I said,
do what she said. I'm supposed to be water baptized. The lords tell me. And I'm like, well, praise God, let's do this. So when she came up out of the water, she just had tears her eyes and was a great big smile. She said, my heart is smiling, and I look up and here coming this Pat Poindexter walking towards the baptism and tears of George is running down her face. And she said, she just keeps telling me to be water baptized, to be water baptized. I
said, well, come on, and she does water baptimes. There's a freedom. There's a freedoyeah, you know that. She said, yeah. The biggest thing she got delivered frum because she thought she was good when she came up. She said, immediately she was delivered from pride and she felt it and her life's been different since then. And so that's the power of Holy Spirit. We didn't have to push it on her. We didn't have to make her feel it's the love of Jesus that brings you to that,
like a Jesus burger. And then you know if when the Holy Spirit, that's what it happened with me, I went to it, I was like, yeah, I'll go get a burger and then then the Holy Spirit does the rest. It's not our job to push on people, and that's completely between you a guy. Yeah, that's right. We just love them and provide and do what we can is our job. And absolutely and we do
have showers by the way from showers two every Saturday, every Saturday. So this Saturday Jesus Burger, showers will be available, fresh change of clothes will be available. So we have we have friends that they've on the street and and we try to minister to them any way that we can, and showers is one way that we're aver. Sometimes their waters cut off and so they come out and they get in their shower. Yeah, So anybody wants to
donate towels or shower supplies, we're always welcoming those as well. Absolutely. Also, we did a the last minute, we did the rodeo Green Country Radio years ago Jesus Burger. Yeah, they did Jesus Burger about over three hundred hamburgers I think, and one hundred hot dogs and lots of meat, talk of meat. So what we love about Jesus Burger is is the ladies.
We pray over the whole facility of us and we declare salvation Jesus name for every man, woman and child that takes a bite of anything that we serve. You know what I mean. We already we speak over the food, but we make the declaration of salvation because that's what it's all about. It's all about souls being saved. So we went to go look at a house. We're looking for houses, and the guy we were talking, and
the guy we start talking about what we do in Jesus Burger. You goes, wait a minute, I've had a Jesus Burger ahead one last weekend. Look at fact to hit two of him. He was at the Rady Hill. Oh my goodness, things, that's so well. Okay, so it's tomorrow, it's at noon and we're right there across from FYC on fourteenth Street. Yes, west side of town, and you can't miss it.
