I've been at some very large radio stations in my life, and I've seen some Christmas promotions, but my goodness sake, this is where the whole communities at Plural come together and it is a celebration and this is probably the coolest way to get everybody in the mood and just kind of share with our community with Green Country Christmas. Exactly, a lot of people come together and again we're excited to have Green Country Christmas come together for our community
because, like you say, it's a win win win for everybody. Oh, it's people who collect the tickets win the prizes. Of course, that's obvious. They're the winners and stuff too. But by shopping locally, everybody wins those tax dollars. Stay here, you know. Yeah, you might say, okay, but I just want to sit on my couch and you
know, order it online and things like that. But you know what, there's nothing like walking in and supporting your local businesses that support the Boys and Girls Club, that supports the churches, that supports the Little leagues, that supports all of these things too, the businesses. It is so important that we keep those businesses in our town. And so we got to shop locally and this is a way that we can come together and do that and everybody wins. Fun. It's fun, it's fun. We have a good time
with it. So, yeah, you're going to shop when you're gonna buy some Christmas presents anyway, you know, you might as well do it here and have a chance to win some great prizes too. If you don't know what we're talking about, this is oh, I can't remember now what number this is. It's a lot around twenty or something like that I can't remember of that we've done now for Green Country Christmas. And what it is is you have a chance to shop local businesses and there are a big there's a
big list of local businesses. When you go into a store and you see this poster on the door, yep. If you see these little green sheets that they have by their cash register and stuff too, it lists all the participating businesses on the back. Also, if you go to Bartleswoo radio dot com, you're going to see a list of all of these businesses and all two these are all the local businesses that are giving out little green tickets.
It's Green Country Christmas green tickets, you know, kind of get the thread goes here, and we're saving green by shopping locally too, so that's a good thing. But anyway, when you shop, every ten dollars you spend, you get another green ticket. Just you don't even just by shopping you get a green ticket. Just ask for one. You don't have to even buy anything, just ask for that green ticket. You get one. And
then for every ten dollars you get another another green ticket. If it's a huge ticket item like a car or something, they can put a limit at one hundred tickets if they'd like you for the business, just because it's more difficult to count out all those tickets and do it and things like that, and it makes it kind of more fair for other people that bought smaller items to have a chance to But anyway, that being said, you get a green ticket, save those tickets, put them in some side, some way
of numerical order, some way that you can keep track of them. Some people do a database, some people put them on sheets of paper in numerical order. This type of thing too. We will have daily prizes that we give away ten daily prizes here on the radio. We're going to announce those daily prizes. But starting November thirteenth, I believe that's a Monday, isn't it Monday, November thirteenth, And so we'll start giving away daily prices.
We'll announce like a business, and we'll say, for instance, Sterling's Grill is giving away a fifty dollars gift certificate to number blank blank blank blank blank blank, you know or whatever. And they will say another another prize, and we'll give a ten prizes. We'll say, we'll talk about those on the radio. We'll have them in the Sunrise Reporter. We'll have them on our website and we'll have them what other place too, Oh on weatherline. No, No, we don't do that anymore. We used to do that.
Let's see. It seems like there's one other place I'm missing. Anyway, you'll all have a chance to win the daily prizes that way. What you need to do, though, is for the daily prizes, come into the radio station within three business days, three business days when we announce it and pick up your daily prize. Why we put that time living on it is because if somebody doesn't claim it, we want somebody else to win that
prize. We want we want the prizes exactly. So there's a lot of great prizes every way from November thirteenth all the way up to our grand prize. Grand prize drawing is Tuesday, December nineteenth, right here on the radio at nine o'clock. And we won't have the other ways to be able to hear it. You have to do it here on the radio. You have to listen on the radio for the numbers that day and we will be giving
out all the prizes that day.
