We're kind of doing this on alternative meats because we had a little software wrinkle with some of the stuff that we use in studios. So I'm using my handheld camera, my telephone here. How are you doing there? Doing well? Doing well? Tom You are very resourceful. Look at you. Well, I'm something anyway, Yes, So what's
happening it Get Real Ministries. I know we got Jesus Burger coming up. Yes, absolutely absolutely we have Jesus Burger will be tomorrow at noon. We start at noon tomorrow, third Saturday every month. And for those of you that don't know what Jesus Murder is, basically it's church outside. What we do. We have some buses, we go around town. We pick up homeless folks or people that just need a ride. We bring them to the church property. We have a full blown worship, We have preaching the world,
have water baptism set up. You have guys grilling burgers and fixing the sides. And when the when the ministry part is said and done, then we all sit down and we eat together, we visit together, we fellowship together, and then after that, after that, we have a clothing ministry that we open up and people get all the clothes that they need. And we have a food ministry with food bags that we hand out from people that need neat help with some food. And i'd just a great, big thank
you to the City of Bortles for the community of Bortles. So you guys are amazing, so many people coming in and volunteering and helping, and we can't do it without you. I mean, Jesus puts the people in place that needs to be in place to make this thing happen. And what's amazing is He shows up each and every time we come together. This is truly
an amazing community. And you know, get real ministries that you've been around for a few years here and the reputation you've earned in the community that this is why people come on out and help out. You've got a great idea, you got a great message, and you're putting that idea into motion. Well, we were sharing God's love. Absolutely we believe that that Lord. When did we see your home room feedure, when we see you naked and
clothing. When did we see you in prison? That's just the basic foundations of Christianity. You know, all the different ministries here in town have different outreaches, if you will, But we like to go to the street. We like to go to the highways and byways and the hedges and compel people to come in. And God is faithful, He's so amazing, indeed he is. You've been busy with a lot of things, and I know that you're going to be taking the show on the grow and taking a show out
there at Sunpins. I remember there were a bunch of us on Facebook and we were talking about Sunfast and you posed a question, I wonder how we can get out there. Well, a bunch of folks, that is one, a bunch of folks got together and said, hey, Aster Rando, here you go, and that you got now on the big band shop. Well, we will be at the Shell Bandshell Sunday from noon to one o'clock.
I know we started noon anywhere from noon to one and win by everyone to come out, come out and join us in some time of worship and the Word of God. And we'll even have our Baptist crew with us. I believe in water baptism. I believe it's the utmost importance. And I've had people say, well, why is water baptism so important? Well, that's Jesus, h that's Cam Yeah, he's he to him. It was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me, you know what I
mean. Now the band is called the Rebel Leaders. Yes, and it's huge, Shiloh, And I know that Kevin Knowles is with you, and you have a couple of other bandmates. We have Scott Room and we have Jeremy Towell and even Kevin's son, Arman plays drugs. Really people can play about anything he wants. He's kind of like dad, Oh well that's scary. Well two of them roaming around here. Here's a musical instrument. Make yourself useful, okay, and then next thing you know, there're one man's
symphonies, you know. So we have we have another young man, Bill Horton for Barnstall. I grew up in Billy Horton and he's part of the group. He plays a congress and it's pretty it's pretty amazing what God does to that little group. Well, and we're gonna have a lot of fun and we're gonna have a lot of fun, crazying God and wors from Jesus and just singing our souls to have it. You know, it's gonna He'll be a great time. And it look weather looks great. The weather's gonna
be amazing, amazing for tomorrow as well. But I just want to mention Barnstall, right, Oh yeah, let's do that because you've been that's your hometown. I grew up in Barnstall. I mean, I love that place, hometown, Barnstall, And I was over there just two days ago, and uh, it'll never be the same. It will never be the same. It's it's amazing the destruction that went through there, but it's also amazing of the lives that were spared. We lost a couple of people, you
know, I knew them personally. It's a bittersweet time. But at the same time, there was warnings took place. They said that that tornado was on the ground for thirty nine miles from south of Harmony all the way through Barbersville into the edge of Kansas, and all along the way. There were warnings and warnings and warnings to be prepared, to be prepared, to be prepared, and in Mark chapter thirteen. That's what Jesus is talking about.
He says, you don't know the time or the hour. He said, even the angels don't know the time or the hour, and Jesus himself doesn't know the time or the hour, but the Father knows the time. And several different places through that passage of scripture, Jesus says, watch, watch. And that's what that reminded me of, was the tornado watch that this community was under and Barnstall was under, and because they were warned ahead of
time, they were lives spared. I truly believe that. And that's the same reason that Jesus gave us this morning and his word to watch and be ready, because you don't know if it's going to be in the middle of the day, the middle of the night. You don't know when his return would be. So we need to be watchful, we need to be prayerful, we need to be ready for his return. And that's the message.
That's the message of gig Row Ministries as well. John three seventeen is what gig Row Ministries has founded on. And John three seventeen says for God to not send his son into the world to condemn the world that the world through him might be saved. Wow, and yeah, get just nailed it. You just absolutely nailed it. Now, there are a lot of help's been down there in Barnesville and a lot of folks still need a lot of healing. A lot of folks outside of the area think that well, you know,
once the TV cameras are gone, everything goes back to normal. Well it doesn't. It takes months and sometimes years for a community to heal and to heal properly only physically and also mentally spiritually too. Absolutely so, the resources that are there right now, Tom, You're exactly right. The resources that are there now is off the charts, all the different Walmart, Samaritan Purse, Joyce Meer Ministry. I'm going to leave people out and I don't
mean to, but the resources are just in abundance. But when reality sets in, you know when when I hate to say it like this because it's so many good people in their hearts are right, But there's going to be a day when when the flashballs and the TV's are going to be gone and reality is gonna is going to still be there. And I just pray that people's hearts will remain faithful to the Lord and continue to volunteer and help. And Barnesville does a Barnstall that does. I mean everybody. I mean,
we're we're just a community. We're family. Man. Now, if folks want to know a little bit more about Get Real Ministries, you have a face book page that's quite popular that just kind of sprung up and just turned into a Bahima. I'll tell you my wife, my wife Shidoh, she's amazing what she knows, she does, she's good. I'm like, I chase here my son termaphone on for but she which shadow is amazing at their
Facebook pross and you know what she did a few years ago. She encouraged the people to get Real Ministries to bring their phones with them and we provided tripods and they started running Facebook Live on their own feet. So Facebook Live didn't just come just through get Real website. They're sharing to their family exactly exactly, and it's been amazing. People all over the world. We have people from Alaskan people from Indian, people from China and just literally all over
the world to tune in to get Real Ministries more than once. That's all surprises me. They liked it, They come back. It's amazing. Now Now when we do the Jesus Burgery for folks, if you haven't been there for a while, it's at noon, Yes, it's at noon, and right there on the Miracle of Fourteenth Miracles on fourteenth Street, four to eleven West fourteenth Street, our property. Literally sometimes I have to stop preaching for the train to go by. Yeah, I know, on the other side
of the track, so that's where we are. But please, everyone is welcome. We have people volunteer that come up all the time. They're like, what can I do to Hell? And the greatest thing most people can do is just sit down and visit with people. Just look them in the eye and just listen because a lot of times people just want to share their story. They just want to know that somebody cares. And you know, that's what we're trying to do. We're trying to show love of Christ and
he's amazing. He had grace and mercy in my life.
