A couple of guys I just don't see often enough. It is a get real ministries. And we have Rando Gamble and also we have Kevin Knowles in. How are we doing, guys? Amazing and I'm doing super Seems like we just saw each other few hours, just a few hours long ago. That was an amazing evening at at Price Tower with you
and Kevin performing. I really it was amazing. I enjoyed that. Thank you very much. And you know something, I felt better that you were in the crowded my pastors here. It's good see the last rites or we're having fun. We're having now. Well, we've got Jesus Burger coming up. And this is something we do every month, and my goodness sakes, it never gets old. It never gets old. It's it's ever evolving and ever changing, but at the same time, it's it's always Jesus at the
focus. That's why it's called Jesus Urger. That'll be this Saturday at noon. This Saturday noon be Jesus urg We'll be in the warehouse building behind FYC once again due to weather concerns. But I asked Kevin Knowles. I ask our friend, our buddy, Kevin to join me this morning. And Kevin and his family is an intricate part of what we do at get Real Ministries, very you know, very much involved in. And the fact that he
also is talented in musical abilities, you know, that's a plus. But I'm just talking about him and his family, spirit, their heart, they love Jesus, they love people, and they love to serve. And while what a major bonus that's been forget Real Ministries that Kevin and his family serves with us. Kevin, I understand you. You're doing a little pastoring as
well. Well we need it. Yeah. I don't know about pastoring him, leaving that to Brando, but I've preached a little bit, all right, or as I call it, just running my mouth, letting the Holy Spirit in there and let you go to town. Huh oh man. So
the amazing thing is I want to cover right quick. We've we've been sponsoring warm up Bartlesfield again this year where we have a coat, leave a coat, neat a coat, take a coat, and there's been well over one hundred coats that the people of Bartlesville have come, and they've they've hung out on the rack in front of the church, and and mamas and children and daddies and and kids have come and gotten themselves winter jackets and gloves and hats
and and I just want to say thank you to the city of Bartlesville. You guys are amazing. Superman trucking out of Copan. Yeah, I'm telling you, Hugh Homes. Of course, you guys here at the radio station. All the's so amazing to us, so amazing. But to all of Bartlesville, everyone that's had anything to do with keeping bartlesvilll warm this year, I just want to say thank you and be the light man. They're rocking it. They're rocking it. Be the light or rocking it with a warming
shelter and all. So just thank you to Bartlesville. Well, it is a great community. We do share a lot, and we do we share a lot as friends, we share a lot spiritually, and we also share a tendency to share an awful lot monetarily, yes, we do, which is really nice. And sometimes when we think of sharing too, the sharing of a coat, you might not think that's much until you're the guy that didn't have the coat, absolutely, and then you are the most thankful human
being on the base of the earth. And something as simple as a pair of gloves, I call them warm fuzzies. Where's my warm fuzzies? I'm all, oh, yeah, yeah, you know, a pair of gloves, a stalking cap. You may have fifteen of them laying around the house somewhere. We'll gather them up. You know, we'd be more than happy to help distribute them to people that need those, you know. And one thing about getroal ministries, it's an ongoing ministry. It's not just when it's
cold outside. It's not just when it's Thanksgiving or Christmas time. We do it. Get real ministries what we do on an ongoing basis, you know, Matthew twenty five, When do we see you hungry and feed you, when we see you naked and clothe you, When do we see you sicken in prison? Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Jesus said, when you've done it to the least one of these, you've done it under me. So that's that's the basis of get real ministries. You know,
we're so thankful that God supplies our every need on a daily basis. You know, we don't have we're not associated with them, with the mother church somewhere that that funds us through the back door, et cetera, et cetera. God provides our every need. And just like Jesus Burger painted a horse, thank you all a million thank you say come through the front door. They come through the front door with with Hamburger meat to help us with Jesus
Burger. There's so many different things that people do in this community to help us out, and I'm just thankful. I'm just so very grateful. And same with Kevin. He doesn't he said, he just runs his mouth. No, he ministers the word of God's Kevin's a cold man of God. He has an amazing anointing on him. But not only Kevin, we have several people in our church. It's nice that that Shiloh and I are able to go somewhere and be at peace knowing that we have confident people leading the
service while we're out of town. It's amazing. It's amazing. So, Kevin, what do you like? Boast about it? Get real? I mean, there's so much to just sink yourself into that. There is a Rando hit on the number one thing that really drew me in in Matthew twenty five. And you know, it's it's easy to give the complex statement, you know, and as much as you've done for the least of these, I like the more simplistic statement. Be the church. Yes, And that's
what I see it get real on a daily basis. Those who are regularly participating are there. They are the church. They move in a way, they give their their time there there whatever they have available to participate and actually be the church God. Yeah, you know, we we do the water baptisms even when it's cold. Even when it's cold. I think some folks just like do it because it is cold. I know, the spirit calls and they don't. They don't care about temperature exactly. And that that just
happens. Though. So last month's Jesus Urger, the altars filled up, people just repent and crying out to God. And and we had this one young lady that had already purposed to be water baptized on that Jesus Burger event. And we ended up I think we had seven water baptisms and and I don't know what's happened to the church. I don't know why water baptisms have fallen off. I don't know why pastors don't teach on water baptism. You know, some people say, well, why is water baptism so important?
And I just tell them I don't know. I asked Jesus when you see him. He did it. He did it. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. Right, His cousin says, here you go. You know, John Demapis did the honors. Absolutely, absolutely, it's good enough for him, it's good enough for anybody. Yes it is, Yes, it is. Wow. So once again last night was amazing. You guys, you come together and and such cohesiveness and such.
It was just amazing. And the fact that that once again get real ministries. They showed up. You know, I have a fan base, and they showed up. Was in support and and love for everybody, and it was a great inning. Thank you. That's great. But you know, we we've got that the big one coming up here with Jesus Burger tomorrow.
Now that's a noon noon. So folks, if you have kind of been out of town or you haven't been around for whatever reason, we're not gonna ask, but he said, well, I thought that was at six o'clock at night. No, we we changed that several months several months ago. Yes, so, and it makes it easier on everyone. You know, there were times where it would be ten eleven, twelve o'clock at night, you know, by the time we got things put up and put away and
then bounce right back Sunday morning for service Sunday morning. And yeah, exactly, but it will be at noon tomorrow. But I can't seem to say thank you enough to the people of Bortlesfield that give to get real ministries and get real ministries like Kevin was alluding to just a moment ago. The people that get real they'll give you everything that they have. They will, they will pour into you, they will pour their hearts out into you. They'll
give you the shirt off their back if need be. My wife gave my shirt off my back to somebody one day. She said it looks better on him exactly. I could actually see her doing that. Yeah, give your shirt, babe, it's a good thing. I had another shirt under Yeah, give your shirt, baby. Like what I started to say, it didn't fit. Oh well, gee, many Christmas, Hey you know, get real ministries. You're right there on fourteenth Season's tell everybody where you are.
We're at four to eleven West fourteenth Street. Our property joins Brook Caven Apartments. Just on the north side of fourteenth Street is the f YC Convenience Store. Behind the f YC Convenience Stores, the big gray building. We call it the Jesus Burger Building where we hold the Jesus Burger events during inclement weather. And this being Oklahoma, even though it's going to be seventy three next Wednesday, it could be thirty seven the following day. Because we've seen
it. We've seen it, we've lived it, we've experienced it. So we will be in the Jesus Burger Building this Saturday at nooon. Showers will be available. O good. Of course we have I call it Little Dillards. We have the clothing ministry that the ladies Marredy and the ladies work hard on. I mean you go in, everything's organized and color coordinated, and it's like, wow, this blows my mind. But I call it Little Dillards. The folks. We have a bus that runs. You can get
on face spooking and see the bus schedule and the times and places. We have a bus that runs and picks people up. You actually drive the bus. Oh yeah, where Derek Maynor drives the bus or I mean, we're all in this thing together. It doesn't matter as long as we get the folks. He knew me in the wall. I think Derek has too much fun on that thing. Man. We got we got our new bus just
before Christmas, and Derek said, don't get on the bus yet. I got to finish it, and I'm like, what are you talking about? So when I finally get on the bus, I had Garland and Christmas balls and Christmas all inside the bus. That's pretty amazing. So we do this
at noon tomorrow. And of course if you're cold, or you have maybe a coat, stocking, caps and gloves that you can't use or are no longer using for any way or form that are still very usable, yes, I'm sure you hang them up there right out front and get real ministry because there will be someone who needs it. Absolutely, no questions are asked. Nobody, nobody bothers you. There business going on there. We don't ask
for anything. We're not We're not gonna be standing out there begging for donations. Et cetera, et cetera. You know, we just say, help us, help help people. That is what we want. Help us be the handsome feet of Jesus. Wowee, that's amazing. That's amazing. Guys, have fun tomorrow. Thank you. We will. Alrighty, stay warm tomorrow. And well, I don't think that's gonna happen. You're gonna have
