All you can eat for breakfast, a full country breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, coffee, milk and oj N the juice. And it's benefiting the Bartlesville Art Association, as you mentioned. And so it'll be seven am to eleven am March second, first Saturday in March. And the tickets are nine dollars for adults four fifty for children six to eleven years and five and under eat free. And it

is all you can eat. You I love if you cant yes, And so you can get tickets at the door or at the Art Association office or from Art Association members. And the Art Association office, as you mentioned, is at the Comanche Center, which is a cross kind of caddy corner across the street from the K one radio station. You can look for that turquoise mid century type sculpture that says Comane Center and it's where Limey's used to be. It is mister Limey's, which of course is no longer no longer in

existence, but the sign is still there. Yeah, and the love love going to mister Limey's back in the day. Anyway, go ahead shut him in the rut. So it's taking place at the Mason's Lodge and the address is six' ten Northeast Washington Boulevard, and that's about a quarter mile north of Tuxedo Boulevard on the east side. And so again that's six ten Northeast Washington Boulevard. On the first Saturday in March, March second, seven am

to eleven am, full country breakfast, all you can eat. Wonderful that you're speaking my language right there. And it's also my sister's birthday. Maybe I might take her to a break fist for her birthday. And of course it does benefit the programs of the Articial Art Association. Now, the Art Association has been around for a long time, right, yes, how long has the Art Association been around? Actually, I was just going to get into that. Yeah, I was just going to say a few words in

general about the BAA and a couple of upcoming classes and shows. I wanted to get a chance to mention, first of all, thanks for having us on. Absolutely special thanks to the Masons for hosting this breakfast for us. BAA is a nonprofit and we rely a lot on membership, class, tuitions, grants, donations, sponsors, the kindness of benefits around the community and that sort of thing. So the BAA has been around for over seventy years.

A lot of people don't realize bartisval has an art association, but we have been around that long. You may recall we had a little building right in the entrance to Johnstone Park for a very long time. But as time went on the building got older, they wanted to spend Kitty Park and such.

We moved into Price Tower Annex for a few years. And now after the sale of the Price Tower, we've secured a spot in the Commanchee Center and like we said, it's at two seventeen South Command Shee at Frank Phillips. I usually describe it as being just west of the Caney River Bridge on the left side there. And then another thing that folks probably don't realize about the Bartis of Art Association is you don't have to be an artist to join.

We have a lot of members who are simply art appreciators and who recognize the value of art in a community in many many ways. Now there are a lot of benefits of being a member, like we have an open studio on Wednesdays every Wednesday from one to four that's free from members. It includes a very talented watercolorist who does a tutorial watercolor lesson on the first Wednesday of each month. But the other thing is you don't have to be a member

of the BAA to take our classes. We often have membership price breaks and we have membership only the art shows and such, but you do not have to be a member to take our classes. That's great for the community. Yeah, I know, because it gives a lot of people because we offer classes at all levels. That's the other thing. People think, ooh, I'm not good enough, blah blah blah. That's not true at all. We have classes in all sorts of mediums, and we have levels of everything

from beginners to advance. And if you've never done anything, it's fun to just come to a beginner level class and just forget everything and just enjoy whatever is being taught. And it's just a great way to relax. Absolutely. Well, I mean you're speaking, you're talking my language. You're talking my language earlier about the breakfast. Now you really are talking my language. Because

I am, by all means a novice. Whenever I was a kid, I was the one who was always outside the lines, always outside the line, So maybe I can make it as an abstract artist. That's what I was going to say, sounds I can ask. And the other thing that's kind of great about the BAA is if you see a class you really want to take but just don't have the funds, we do have scholarship intuition assistance available, and a lot of this information I'm going over is available on the

VIAA website, which is Bartosville Artassociation dot org. RG not calm. A lot of people think it's Bartisville Artassociation dot com. It's not dot org. So I did want to mention real quickly a couple of upcoming classes and events that are super cool. One is this fantastic watercolor workshop that starts next Wednesday, February twenty first. It's a three day workshop to twenty first through the twenty third, all day with a nice big lunch break. Is being taught

by this visiting artist from France named Jean Francois Arnault. It's called Paint the Light, not the Details. Now. It is for it's not for beginners, it's for intermedia to addarness because as he calls it is capturing Essence through Light reveal his process of capturing sunlit landscapes with the goal of distilling only the essence, the light and the atmosphere it is at. His work is absolutely

stunning. If you get on our website, not only can you register for his workshop, which does start next Wednesday, but you can also see some samples of his work. I'm really looking forward to that. And then you probably all have heard of John Lindbloom. He's known very well around town. His solo art exhibit at the Price Tower Gallery is still up. Its closes

March twenty fourth, so you're going to want to go see it. The Price Tower Gallery is free to get into and it's open Tuesday through Saturday ten to five and on Sunday from twelve to five. It's closed on Monday, but you really ought to catch his show. It features his Angels of Pandora series as well as some paintings with some other themes that he's fond of.

There are close to fifty paintings by John for sale, and the seeds will benefit not only the Bartiswell Art Association, but also the Price Tower and other charitable organizations that he is affiliated with Very Nice. So that show closes March twenty fourth. Fifty pieces by John Lindblom. Catch it if you can. Yeah, I think doctor John is very well known in the community and his

art you are absolutely right, is absolutely incredible. And what a talented guy going out and supporting not only his work, but also half of the proceeds from sales go to your organization the other half coast of the Price Tower Art Center as well. Incredible. Then I did want to mention People often ask are there any classes for kids? And I wanted to mention we do have

a class that's going on right now. Well, actually it's in the middle of a session, but we have an after school arts classes taught by this phenomenal young artist named Quincy Turner. She's going to be going off to OSU

on an art scholarship this fall, but she's still teaching. The next set of kids' classes starts February twenty seventh, and they meet one day a week for six weeks from four thirty to six and grades K through two meet on Tuesdays, Grades three through five meet on Wednesdays, Grades six through nine meet on Fridays. And I want to point out. We have a lot of homeschool kids and private school kids. You do not have to be public school

to pick those classes. And I would certainly be a miss if I didn't mention our very popular summer art camp for kids that consumes our entire month of June at the BAA. It runs all the classes from K through twelve. It's divided in weeks and in age levels. But this camp has been going on for so many years. We have parents dropping off kids who were participants in the art camp when they were kids as well. It is still run

by Stephen Graham, who's the art teacher for Caine Elementary. He's phenomenal. He's been doing it for years. He's got help with that, and it just runs like smooth and silk and day lose. And that registration opens up not long after spring break, I'm guessing in April or certainly early May. So keep an eye on our website because once that registration opens, it sells fast. You guys just stay so busy over there. My goodness, what

a great service to the community. Again, we're chatting with the Burnollsville Art Association, Marlowe, Britt Bailey and Juliet Donaldson this morning on community Connection. Man, what great work you guys do in the community. But thank you, appreciating you, thanks for having us. Yeah, well you know what other items we have? About oh three and a half minutes, I believe, Well, I can talk a little bit about a very fascinating process I've

never even heard of. It's cold wax medium mixed with oil paints. And there's an artist named Laurie Roll. Many of you may know her already. She will be teaching beginner and experienced classes in this technique at the end of March. As I understand it, cold wax and oil, as she puts it as a freeing and meliable medium which lends itself to abstract for you, well good representational expert, and she says, be prepared to fearlessly explore your

creativity using this ancient medium in modern applications. Wear old clothes. And then our adult classes, just like this one are open to high school kids as well. In fact, high school kids if they want to join the BAA, it's free, so they should just reach out to us. So I did want to say once again that thanks to the Masons for hosting our breakfast, which is March second from seven to eleven at the Mason's Lodge. All you can eat full country breakfast, and I am at the BAA office Monday

through Thursday from eleven am to three pm. Every Monday through Thursday eleven to three I'll have tickets for sale. You can also call us or email us and get more information. But be sure to check out our website and our Facebook and Instagram because Bartlesville Artassociation dot org is where I get most of our classes up. You can register there, you can join there. You can find out all about us and the Bartlesville Art Association Phone numbers nine one,

eight three three two eighty four sixty three. Again that's nine one, eight three three two eight four six three. You can also buy tickets at the door at the Mason's Lodge on March second, seven am to eleven am, and that's at six' ten northeast Washington Boulevard, quarter mile north of Tuxedo Boulevard on the east side, and you can eat breakfast there you go. It's nine dollars kids for fifty little kids free. You will probably see me there with my sister. Oh good good, good Town present. I see

the show at the Price Tower. Yes, because it's open Saturday. Maybe a great day. Go have breakfast, go to the Prize Tower, catch lunch downtown afterwards. You just make a real birthday out of it for her. Well. You know what one of the things that Bolshill is very well known for is we we are a community that supports the arts and it's it's organized like the Barloshill Art Association that keep that passion alive and keep it alive

for newer generations that are coming as well. Great job on the kids programs, the high school programs and for those who are novices. I don't call myself an amateur. I'm a novice. How about that a novice novices like me as well. The Bartlesoe Art Association lookated at two seventeen South comanchee Avenue, right across the street from us here at K one. We love to have you guys in all the time. Thank you again for your service.
