De documentaire ‘Moeder Suriname – Mama Sranan’ van schrijver en documentairemaker Tessa Leuwsha gaat deze week op het ‘International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam’ (IDFA) in première. Leuwsha gebruikt archiefbeelden om het verhaal van haar Surinaamse oma, Fansi, te vertellen. De film is geïnspireerd door Leuwsha’s boek: ‘Fansi’s stilte’.
