This is now a full blown political ideological crisis in California. I call it California's nullification crisis, and it is very similar to what happened in our history over one hundred and fifty years ago, in particular the eighteen thirty two eighteen thirty three nullification crisis under President Andrew Jackson. Then

it was in California. It was the state of South Carolina, led by former Vice President John C. Calhoun, in which California, which forgive me South Carolina, said they were going to nullify, that is, abrogate, not respect or in force the Tariff Act of eighteen thirty two eighteen thirty three. Andrew Jackson responded by threatening to hang John C. Calhoun and send in the federal militi terry. John C. Calhoun back down and the crisis was averted. But the exact same principle

is at play. California refused to recognize federal supremacy, the legitimacy of the federal government, and the fact that its law can govern and be enforced in the jurisdiction of South Carolina. And frankly, the nullification crisis, as every historian will tell you, inevitably inevitably paved the way for the Civil War. Three decades later, California is now repeating this

tragedy and this absolute constitutional absurdity. What is California and in particular, what is Gavin Newsem and Karen Bass What are they saying? They are saying that America's federal immigration laws do not apply in LA, do not apply in California, that they do not govern in California those laws, and that they will not be enforced. In short, the policy of a sanctuary city policy is really the policy of nullification.

That's what it is. We will not recognize the sovereignty of the United States, the federal law of the United States, the federal authority of the US government. And so now they have taken it to its logical extreme, allowing the mob rioters, insurrectionists, terrorists, criminals to rampage on the streets of LA, to force Ice out and to end Trump's

ability to enforce deportations or a secure border. My friends, this is the nullification crisis of twenty twenty five, and if California is able to get away with it, will pave the way for the inevitable breakup and disintegration of the United States. This is a fire bell in the night. Just like the nullification crisis of eighteen thirty two eighteen thirty three eventually paved the way for South Carolina and the South to secede. That's what California is doing now.

And that Mexican flag is the same as the Confederate flag. It is the flag of a foreign entity, of a foreign power that now says we no longer will uphold federal law, federal laws, federal authority, or federal sovereignty. It is the flag of the trader. What comes around goes around. The Democrats were the party of secession and slavery in the nineteenth century. They have now become again the party of secession and illegal alien slavery in the twenty first century.

Trump needs to crack down, and crack down hard. If he doesn't, the country is finished.
