Kids with Diabetes Growing into teens have a few more issues to deal with than kids without it. When it comes to diabetes, it is important to stay up to date on current treatments and education.
There are continual advancements made to treat diabetes. Some adults may have never received formal education on treating their diabetes. Also, with children, they will experience different stages in growing up with diabetes. As they grow older, they may have questions about drinking and sex or other topics they may not want to talk about with their parents.
