Jeannine Merritt-Elzey is CEO and Co-Founder of Leveraging Equal Access Programs, Inc.(LEAP, Inc) www.leapca.org –An agency that advocates and provides a progressive housing for adults with developmental disabilities in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties.
In conversation with host Veronica Faisant, Jeannine describes her organization’s unique housing model for integrating individuals with developmental disabilities into private family homes in their community, and she reveals the auxiliary support services provided by LEAP.
Certification of provider homes, as well as continued monitoring, is in keeping with state and federal regulations and guidelines.
