Episode description

Father’s Day was first celebrated in 1910 at the Y in Spokane, Washington. In 1972, the 3rd Sunday in June became the official day of observance of Father’s Day.

Tonight, we will explore traditional points of view regarding the Father’s role, juxtapose the ultimate goal of nurturing a human being.  What is the goal?

Were you nurtured in a household with traditional, Mother/Father role models? …
In 2016, do you believe marriage equal and social evolution have rendered gender specific acknowledgement of nurturing roles passe?
Most importantly, do you believe an individual’s overall emotional stability and success are inextricably tied to having a tradional “Father” experience in the home?
