Last summer, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome unveiled a proposal to build a United Nations ‘Global Compact’ center promoting climate stewardship via “clean tech” ventures at the former Naval Shipyard on Hunters Point. The show addresses this proposal in light of the history of Hunters Point and larger plans to redevelop the city’s southwestern waterfront with Saul Bloom, founder of Arc Ecology and Nyse Joshua with POWER (People Organized to Win Employment Rights).
