Episode description
We discuss a controversial plan to use pesticides to remove
Eucalyptus and Scotch Broom in the Oakland hills. Our guests are
Michelle Miller of Stop Toxic Trespass, Ted Kipping, an arborist
from San Francisco, and Jean Quan, a member of Oakland’s city
council, who proposed the measure to use a limited amount of
pesticides to remove the trees, overturning a decade long ban on the
chemicals.
