interview the mother and close friend of a disabled candidate for Mayor of
Washington who was murdered earlier this year. Green Party Candidate Chris
Crowder was disabled by street violence in 1991 and was active in many
movements around city. Host Leroy Moore speaks with Crowder’s mother and
Crowder’s close friend, Asantewaa Nikrumah-Ture about the circumstances of
his murder and the legacy he left behind.
