Episode description

Want to tell the government how they should improve the ADA?  This Monday, January 10, the Department of Justice will be holding one of three national public hearings in San Francisco to get feedback on proposed revisions of the ADA. Pushing limits is taking a look at two of the four proposed revisions which have to do with media: internet accessibility, and equal access in movie theaters. We’ll talk to Mary Watkins, Head of Media Communications for NPR’s WGBH; T.V. Raman, a visually impaired Research Analyst for Google, and Rhianon Gutierrez, a filmmaker with a hearing loss. Develop your own opinions for Monday’s hearing and then let your voice be heard! The post Pushing Limits – January 7, 2011 appeared first on KPFA.
