Pushing Limits radio program welcomes disability organizer Dustin Gibson who presents his views about the interrelationship between race and disability. Dustin also works to end the institutionalization and incarceration system that creates and deepens disability in the prison system. He’s worked with all three Centers for Independent Living in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region with a focus on deinstitutionalization and youth self-advocacy. He’s held positions with both of the National Independent Living organizations where he focused on supporting youth peer support networks and decriminalizing disability.
